The Championship Game
What is dead may never die,
but rises again harder and stronger.
TPD has risen from the ashes of his layered past and soared to heights previously unknown. Come this weekend he will compete on the biggest stage for an MFFL championship. The theme of this season rang loud and true all year, as the weight of its purpose has carried this franchise through thick and thin, and now TPD prepares for the final crescendo.
East division Champion TPD defeated The Real McCoy franchise in last week's semifinal and meeting him in the championship ring for week 16 is Unstopa-bo, the West division champion.
TPD is going through a bit of shock as he prepares for his first ever championship appearance, but the hype and dedication remains at a constant high. His strong gameday managing has carried him all season long and now, entering the championship game, is not the time to give up on what has made him successful. He will look to his own knowledge of the game, to yet again put his team in the best possible situation, in hopes of capturing what has long ruminated in his mind. He has many tough decisions to make.
His roster this week has some interesting undertones. Rivers faces a poor Cleveland D, but he is traveling cross coast for a early eastern time zone game, in possible non San Diego like conditions. Julio looks to be back but how healthy is he, and will Carolina be triple teaming him after he compiled 300 yards against them in his first meeting. Beckham plays on Thursday night and Eifert seems to be hurt. It will be up to TPD to weave through the variables and discover which are real and valid and which are just blinding him of the truth.
The importance of this game cannot be understated. This is it. The NASTY from Dynasty has been a part of TPD for many years. He unleashes it on many opponents of the MFFL and this week the NASTY will be requested for one hell of a showing. The components of such nastiness will once again be fuel to the TPD engine, which hopes to steamroll on the way to the almost unspeakable reward. The weather forecasts for Funny Bone Stadium call for a giant NASTY front, the consequences of which will leave the field in utter disarray, in support of a TPD victory.
TPD has accomplished so much this season, and he cannot help but be proud of what has been achieved. But the truth is known, TPD has one goal in mind.
To TPD's fans, sponsors, and supporters, he asks you to carry the banner and do what is necessary come Week 16. It is the championship, and who will answer the call. What is dead may never die.
Player Profile: Odell Beckham Jr.
A microcosm of TPD's season, Beckham has had his own ups and downs. But looking at the season from its entire whole, it is clear that TPD's decision to draft Odell at 2nd overall was a smart decision. Now, months later, TPD calls upon Beckham once more as he prepares for a championship clash. TPD's season was turned around on a Thursday night many weeks ago and now it will be Beckham's turn to show the full display of TPD's revolution. Odell Beckham Jr. will prove that even Thursday's cannot damper his nastiness. Set the tone for the championship OBJ, and carry the TPD flag high. NASTY!

Week 15 Press Release Playoff Edition
The Perpetual Dynasty vs The Real McCoy
Date: December 18, 2016
Time: 1:00PM
Place: TPD Field House
Starting Lineup:
QB: Philip Rivers
WR: Odell Beckham Jr.
WR: Mike Evans
RB: LeSean McCoy
RB: Kenneth Farrow
TE: Tyler Eifert
FLEX: Julio Jones
K: Stephen Gostkowski
DEF: Buffalo
It is time. TPD embarks on their 4th playoff journey in the MFFL.
Way back in the offseason TPD added THE to his name. It was a move honoring his history of excellence, while also reinventing himself after a poor circumstantial year. He entered 2016 determined not to have a season like the previous year, but after a (1-3) start, with yet more poor circumstances, TPD found himself in a similar situation. Opposing this similarity was TPD's resolve. He never wavered. The past had prepared him for such events and his scars spawned the theme of this season: What is dead may never die. He never once lost faith in the direction or execution of this franchise and the result was a division championship, the most points in the league, and a 4th playoff birth in 5 years.
TPD has led the league in points in four of five seasons, with a consistent theme being his strong play during the second half of the season. In games following week 5 TPD has an astonishing record of 35-10, averaging only two losses per year following week 5. He had a 200 point game this season, only bested by his 236 point game in 2014, and he averaged a ridiculous 154 ppg in his victories this season. He retook his claim over the east division and enters the playoffs having won five of six games. Simply put it was another remarkable year for this historical franchise and one that has spring boarded him back into the championship bracket. Not much has changed for this franchise over the course of five years, their ability to dominate in certain situations is unmatched by any other league team.
A major question mark surrounds this team, and it regards the health of Julio Jones. At this point it does not look like he will play, and that is devastating to TPD's starting lineup potential. Julio is an elite star and his presence will be missed. His name currently resides in the starting lineup out of respect for importance to this team. TPD will have multiple lineup decisions to make and he hopes his strong gameday managing in the regular season will be a source of strength in the playoffs. His QB will either be Rivers or Palmer, both of whom have good match-ups at home. His #2 RB and FLEX are up for debate as guys like Kelley, Farrow, Cooks, and Gabriel are all fighting for those starting slots. TPD will have to rely on his stars in this one.
As a division winner TPD is graced with the opportunity of a home playoff game and TPD Field House is set to be off the chain. These fans will be rabid come Sunday, with one united goal in mind. TPD has unleashed the NASTY from Dynasty multiple times this season, but there is still plenty left to encompass the surface of the Field House. This is almost two years worth of pent up NASTY, ready to exploded in support of TPD. The grounds will quake with the amount of NASTY energy surging through it, and the display could only be categorized as NASTY!
Calling all fans, sponsors, and supporters, the time has come to lift this franchise to new heights. TPD playoff football is back, answer the call. What is dead may never die, but rises again harder and stronger.
Player Profile: Buffalo Defense
TPD's success this season has been linked to his ability to accurately stream defenses all season. This playoff undertaking needs a stout front and a tone setter, look no further than the Buffalo defense playing at home against the Browns. Buffalo will crush the soul of their opponents, delivering one hefty dosage of NASTY in the process. Answer the call Buffalo, NASTY is yours for the taking.

Week 14 Press Release
The Perpetual Dynasty vs ShowMeYourTDs
Date: December 11, 2016
Time: 1:00pm
Place: TPD Field House
Starting Lineup:
QB: Matthew Stafford
WR: Julio Jones
WR: Mike Evans
RB: LeSean McCoy
RB: Rob Kelley
TE: Tyler Eifert
FLEX: Odell Beckham Jr.
K: Stephen Gostkowski
DEF: Buffalo
It is the final week of the regular season and TPD is an inch away from securing a playoff spot. The details of playoff positioning can be seen on the match-up build-up page. It has been an up and down season for TPD for the 2nd consecutive season but the pay off could be oh so sweet. He won in week 13 and has now won 4 out of his last 5 games. Entering this week last season TPD was ready to do war in the league's first ever playoff play in game, but this year TPD will be sitting back patiently and scouting potential playoff variables. Once TPD's playoff spot for 2016 is official he will erupt in excitement and anticipation. It is an honor to compete this late in the year against some of the best teams in the world.
With last week's victory TPD is still in play for the East Division Title and more than likely will finish with the most points in the East division for the 5th straight season. Last week saw TPD again make sound decisions with his lineup. He picked up Pittsburgh D the morning of gameday and they came through, putting up strong defensive numbers. He continued to hold onto Gostkowski even after some shaky performances and it paid off as Gostkowski scored 17 from the kicker position. Week 14 will see Rob Kelley back in the starting lineup. He has not been starting since his week 11 explosion of 35 points, but his benching has been well considered as he has 11 total points in his last 2 games. Kelley's scheduled softens down the stretch and a strong performance in week 14 may promote him to starting status for potential playoff match-ups. The health of Julio Jones is a concern. A hobbled star WR is one of the last things any team wants at this point of the season. Having him sit out week 14 may be what is best for everyone, if he can get healthy for the following week.
With East division supremacy on the line, you know TPD Field House will be on fire for this week's match-up. The fans will try to help TPD secure a playoff spot in style by obtaining a victory and getting ready for some high octane playoff atmosphere. What better place to unleash the NASTY from Dynasty. Fans will enjoy this pre playoff appetizer, because once this week is over...it's on.
Player Profile: Rob Kelley
TPD has been smart with his Rob Kelley usage and now it may be time to unleash him. He continues to show is worth in the Washington offense and this time of year brings cold weather and chilled bones. Rob Kelley will deliver NASTY hit after NASTY hit, leading to big performances for TPD down the stretch. Oh my...NASTY.

Week 13 Press Release
The Perpetual Dynasty vs Tavon and Only
Date: December 4, 2016
Time: 1:00pm
Place: TPD Field House
Starting Lineup:
QB: Philip Rivers
WR: Julio Jones
WR: Mike Evans
RB: LeSean McCoy
RB: Tim Hightower
TE: Tyler Eifert
FLEX: Odell Beckham Jr.
K: Stephen Gostkowski
DEF: Indianapolis
TPD moved into 4th place after a pivotal win in week 12. The team performed extremely well in a 156 point effort and he is now averaging 145 ppg in the last four contests, and 140 ppg in his last 8. He is averaging a mind blowing 163 ppg in his victories this season. This team is not much different than TPD teams of old, with big performances for the majority of the season after a slow start. The dominant nature of each of TPD's last two teams has flown under the radar due to his lack of dominant win totals, but nothing sums up this unfortunate happenstance better than the stats that TPD has 214 more points than the team ahead of him in the East Division and the most points in the entire league. At the end of the day, he is appreciative for every Sunday that he gets to wake up and be excited about TPD football, and a win in week 13 would help continue the joy TPD gets from competing in the best league there is.
Week 13 is a huge divisional match-up and one TPD has to win. He has to decide which QB to play between Stafford and Rivers, who both have good match-ups on paper. His WR core will remain the same, though he hopes Julio can get back to his Julio ways. Tim Hightower could get the start at #2RB as his consistency is making him harder to overlook in terms of starting consideration.
TPD Field House will be rocking come Sunday, with the fans looking like hungry dogs fighting over a pile of meat. The atmosphere is fuel for TPD, taking the form of NASTY propulsion. Anytime TPD has won this season the NASTY has been on ultra, mega, full display and this week the NASTY will be ready to break down the door and engulf anything that stands in its way. He has fought all season, living up to the theme: what is dead may never die. TPD is no stranger to these moments. He will take all the battle scars and lessons learned from games such as these in his past and us the experience to put forth the best effort possible. No team is more battle tested than TPD.
Player Profile: Tyler Eifert
TPD traded for Eifert earlier in the year in an attempt to solidify his TE slot. The results have been exactly what TPD has needed. EIfert is a focal point of his team's offense and an integral part of TPD's roster. His production has helped take TPD's lineup to a higher level, and come Sunday he will once again show his NASTY abilities. NASTY!

Week 12 Press Release
The Perpetual Dynasty vs El Pollo Loco
Date: November 27, 2016
Time: 1:00PM
Place: Burritoville
Starting Lineup:
QB: Eli Manning
WR: Julio Jones
WR: Mike Evans
RB: LeSean McCoy
RB: Wendell Smallwood
TE: Tyler Eifert
FLEX: Odell Beckham Jr.
K: Stephen Gostkowski
DEF: Buffalo
TPD must rebound quickly for a classic rivalry week Thanksgiving after a heartbreaking two point loss a week ago. Anytime a match-up is that close the what ifs immediately enter the consciousness of the loser. TPD can point the finger at many players who did not do enough to obtain a victory while also lamenting the fact that one of their best players, LeSean, exited the game before halftime and did not return due to injury. It was a gut wrenching loss and one that pushes TPD's playoff chances to the brink.
TPD enters week 12 having scored the most points in the league. Yet they reside in 6th place and in serious danger of being knocked out at any moment. He cannot win games when he scores below 120 points. He has not done it since week 8 of 2014 and has only accomplished that feat four times in his entire career. Teams need close low scoring wins in order to win games in this league and it has been maddening watching countless others obtain victories in that fashion week after week while TPD continues to be handcuffed by his poor luck and circumstances. Week 12 offers another chance to break through circumstance and clear a path for the playoffs. What is dead may never die.
The match-ups are tough for TPD this week. It is going to take a full team effort to knock off Loco at Burritoville. TPD will determine his starting RBs at a later date as he waits for injury news to shape the landscape. His elite WRs have very tough match-ups on paper, making Brandin Cooks a possible option at home, but it is hard to sit the guys ahead of him. Both Stafford and Rivers will hit the bench this week as Eli Manning will make a start for TPD.
It is Thanksgiving week meaning there should be plenty of helpings of NASTY going around the family table at Loco headquarters. Last year Loco shared the NASTY helpings with the entire family, who all enjoyed it, and somehow had the stomach to handle it. But this season the recipe has changed and do not be surprised by the look on Loco's face as he attempts to eat the NASTY in the same manner as they did last season, only to find out, instantly, that they have made an extreme error in judgement. TPD has always left Burritoville with an upset stomach due to the nasty food served at that stadium, but this season it will be Loco with the dismembered bowels. Gross, that is NASTY.
Player Profile: Wendell Smallwood
Shady was well on his way to a NASTY performance last week before he got hurt. This week will profile another RB. Wendell Smallwood gets the nod though it could be a number of RBs in play for this profile. Many RBs on TPDs roster may get heavier workloads due to injuries and Smallwood is at the top of that list. He has proven to be a valuable commodity when given the chance and if that chance comes this week expect a NASTY day for the ages.

DEF: Miami
TPD enters week 11 on a two game winning streak. He is averaging 143 ppg over his last six games leading to four victories. His victory last week over LFB was huge for their season long outlook and now they go up against a team that made their bones against TPD earlier this year.
TPD once again last week put his squad in the best possible position to win with his gameday managing. His RB core has been in flux since the LeSean injury but the benefit being that TPD has had an opportunity to sharpen his managing skills in hopes of a strong late season finish. With LeSean back after bye, TPD hopes the impact will be powerful on many levels. He is once again presented with a difficult lineup decision for this week, with B. Cooks seemingly a lock to enter his lineup, based on his strong play, but TPD hates Thursday players and Cooks could go to the bench in place of a lesser known RB commodity. Ever since the trade of D. Johnson many have wondered how TPD would form a productive RB core. Entering week 11 TPD feels like they have done, and will continue to do, a good job at finding talent at that position. Prosise and Kelley may not be flashy but they offer potential and will continue to attempt to secure a recurring starting lineup spot for the remaining games.
The NASTY came alive at the Field House last week and the fans will once again flood the seats to watch a NASTY showing Sunday. TPD is scoring points like he has in the past, though his poor circumstances hide their true dominant potentials. The NASTY will rain from the skies, directly onto TPD's opponent, and the result will be catastrophic. Ponchos nor umbrellas will not protect them from the acid like burning qualities of the NASTY downpour.
Player Profile: LeSean McCoy
He's back. LeSean McCoy is the forgotten star on the TPD roster. Before his injury he was playing as well as any RB in the league. Shady showed one week before his bye that he was ready to get back to his NASTY ways, and entering week 11 its time for him to explode. The insertion of a dynamic Shady into TPD's lineup is a power move and one that will make his team that much more imposing. Some might say NASTY.

Week 10 Press Release
The Perpetual Dynasty vs La Flama Blanca
Date: November 13, 2016
Time: 1:00 PM
Place: TPD Field House
Starting Lineup:
QB: Philip Rivers
WR: Julio Jones
WR: Mike Evans
RB: Chris Ivory
RB: C.J. Prosise
TE: Tyler Eifert
FLEX: Odell Beckham Jr.
K: Stephen Gostkowski
DEF: Carolina
TPD enters week 10 on the heels of a massive performance. He scored 174 points in week 9, the 2nd highest point total of the season, bested only by his 200 performance earlier in the year. It is yet another accomplishment to add to the already stuffed pages of the TPD record book. Even with the hellish seasons TPD has endured over the last two years, his record book continues to be revamped as his teams continue to roll out dominant performance. Week 10 is yet another opportunity to acquire a necessary win against an eastern division foe, LFB.
TPD hopes to put on a better performance than in their first match-up this year. The crazy fans of TPD nation will fill the Field House in help of such hopes. His team is completely different than it was to start the season, per usual. TPD feels the additions of T. Eifert and Carolina D have solidified two starting positions that were once fluid and the WR core can explode at any moment, as demonstrated last week. TPD's RBs are still fluid, and L McCoy is on bye this week, but overall the position has stepped up and TPD has been playing the match-ups well. His gameday managing has been on point ever since a few slip ups early in the season, and he hopes to once again put his team in the best position possible to win.
He is thankful to be given the opportunity to play meaningful games in this league. Last season he fought, and played meaningful games all the way to the final regular season game of the year. He hopes to last as long as he can and perhaps get back to the playoffs after a one year hiatus. It is an honor each time TPD laces up the cleats in preparation for an MFFL game, and he does not take it for granted.
What is dead continues to never die and TPD has battled his heart out this season. His managing over the last two seasons may be the best of his career, but his ridiculous schedule has kept him from reaching the heights that illustrate such facts. The NASTY was redistributed in efficient, dominant fashion last week. This week TPD will employ the same delivery company for his must win home game. The ruckus nature of TPD Field House will ensure the delivery is handled on schedule and in NASTY style. How NASTY it will be when TPD's opponent is pelted by the onslaught of NASTY performances.
Player Profile: Stephen Gostkowski
A kicker is the player profile? Yes. Gostkowski has been a TPD regular for years and his steady leg has been a part of some of the best teams of all time. His season started slow but TPD needs his consistency down the stretch. It is a huge weapon to get 10 or more points each week from a kicker. TPD held onto Gostkowski over the bye week and a NASTY game come Sunday night will show everyone why.

Week 9 Press Release
The Perpetual Dynasty vs Tavon and Only
Date: November 6, 2016
Time: 1:00PM
Place: TO Stadium
Starting Lineup:
QB: Philip Rivers
WR: Odell Beckham Jr.
WR: Mike Evans
RB: LeSean McCoy
RB: Charcandrick West
TE: Clive Walford
FLEX: Julio Jones
K: Cairo Santos
DEF: Carolina
The same old story, different day. The Morgans put up 132 after not scoring above 114 all year to beat TPD and solidify his fate as the cursed one. The mega addition of J. Jones was not enough to get a victory, as Julio put up an atrocious 5 points, leading TPD to demote him to the flex for week 9. TPD played well across the board and continued to make the best decisions for his team via free agent pick ups and gameday managing but there is nothing else that can be done. TPD's schedule is simply overpowering with only one team scoring below 125 all year. Maybe week 9 will be different considering TPD's opponent has many bye weeks to contend with.
Much of the lineup will remain the same in preparation for week 9, though his RB and TE situation will be monitored throughout the week with guys hurt or on bye. He is hoping the three musketeers at WR can finally produce during the same week and spark something for this franchise. The pick up of Carolina D last week was a huge success and they may have grabbed hold of his starting D spot the rest of the way if they perform well again this week. TPD had good times with Charcandrick (Charizard) West last season and the injuries to the Chiefs back field may open the door for a repeat performance. TPD hates Thursday gamedays but he will have no choice but to start two star WRs on Thursday this week. A strong start on a Thursday would be a welcomed change and perhaps the spark TPD needs.
TPD is 3rd in points entering week 9. That stat helps illustrate the fact the the NASTY, although not fully functioning, has still been producing at a great clip. It's the same as last season when TPD finished 3rd in total points. Even while experiencing a 2nd straight season from hell TPD will never give up and never lose faith in this team or it's direction. His luck will have to change eventually and when it does TPD has proven he will be ready. The NASTY will be unleashed over everything near its barrel of nastiness. Week 9 may be the start of something big and smelly, the NASTY holds the truth and the key. Doubting only speeds up the NASTY encompassing.
Player Profile: Mike Evans
One of the most consistently great fantasy players of the 2016 season finally makes TPD's player profile. Evans has been phenomenal this season and he takes the stage on Thrusday with Julio to change the course of this season. He has to be the one to carry this team at a time like this. His steady hands and production will be the light leading the way through the darkness...oh and he'll be doing NASTY things along the way.

Week 8 Press Release
The Perpetual Dynasty vs Advantageous Morgans
Date: October 30, 2016
Time: 1:00PM
Place: Funny Bone Stadium
Starting Lineup:
QB: Matthew Stafford
WR: Julio Jones
WR: Mike Evans
RB: Jacquizz Rodgers
RB: Knile Davis
TE: Tyler Eifert
FLEX: Brandin Cooks
K: Stephen Gostkowski
DEF: Carolina
Welcome Mr. Julio. TPD made a massive splash this week, acquiring Julio Jones in exchange for three players. Julio will immediately attempt to become the face of the TPD franchise. The trio of Julio, Odell, and Mike is a sight to be hold and could be one of the best WR trios of all time. TPD went all in, and it is now or never.
TPD failed to live up to the hype in week 7, scoring 82 points in a horrible effort across the board from his roster. He made the right lineup decisions, benching stars Beckham and McCoy, who combined for 10, but it did not matter. TPD will take the positives where ever they may be, and it is not doubt his gameday managing has improved significantly over the course of this season.
Week 8 matches him up against the league's lowest scoring team, but if TPD's history is any indication, this could be the week the Morgans finally put forth a strong effort. TPD has been hit with injuries to 3 RBs and his roster for week 8 is not as strong as it could be, but the trade for J. Rodgers will hopefully fill the void until guys can get healthy.
This season has been a grind for TPD, just like last year. It is the last thing he wanted but it is times like these he must remember the theme and battle cry of this team: What is dead may never die. This team will never quit and they are ready for the 2nd half of this season. Evidence in support of this claim will be the return of the NASTY this week. It took an unexpected reprieve last week but it is back and ready to unleash the NASTY from Dynasty for this important divisional match-up. Oh no....it's so NASTY!
Player Profile: Julio Jones
No player can command the player profile this week other than Julio Jones. What words are there to describe the type of move this is. Julio is simply a superstar and steps right into the starting lineup with the opportunity to set the league on fire. It can all be encapsulated by one word...NASTY...Julio Jones.

Week 7 Press Release
The Perpetual Dynasty vs Unstopa-Bo
Date: October 23, 2016
Time: 1:00PM
Place: TPD Field House
Starting Lineup:
QB: Philip Rivers
WR: Odell Beckham Jr.
WR: Mike Evans
RB: Christine Michael
RB: C.J. Anderson
TE: Coby Fleener
FLEX: Allen Robinson
K: Stephen Gostkowski
DEF: Cincinnati
What a week it was. TPD put up 200 points last week, 2nd most all time only bested by TPD's 236 point record of 2014. He made all the right decisions with his roster for a 2nd consecutive week and his confidence is building. His decision to bench stars from the previous week paid off as their replacements combined for close to 50 points. The flexibility of his roster allows him to play the match-ups and bench players no other team would even consider benching. TPD now supports the most points in the league. It's another week to add to the history pages of TPD lore, but this week brings about one of the toughest challenges to date, a match-up against an undefeated Unstopa-bo squad.
TPD entered the week as a favorite on paper due to UB's bye weeks, but the injury to McCoy changes the landscape. TPD once again will have to manage his talented group of WRs to the best of his ability, as all of them have good match-ups and make compelling claims for TPD's starting lineup. Coby Fleener played great last week but his spot in the starting lineup could be circumvented by a healthy Tyler Eifert. TPD once again has a talented squad, with star potential at many positions, but this year's team seems to have more adaptability to season variables, which TPDs hopes will help his roster play better late in the season.
The last two weeks have brought about some NASTY performances from TPD. He will as always try to unleash the NASTY from Dynasty when he welcomes an undefeated team to TPD Field House. The fans are raring to go and will no doubt make it difficult on the opposing team in one of the most anticipated regular games in Field House history. Signs of the impending NASTY display will be everywhere once the opposition gets off the bus. We hope that bus has some new tires because the NASTY juice will make it impossible to get out of neutral.
Player Profile: Philip Rivers
TPD must have a lot of faith in Rivers to put him in the staring lineup given how well Stafford has played as of late, but the decision is a no brainier to TPD. Philip is playing extremely efficient football and he will have multiple opportunities to score points in what is expected to be a shootout on Sunday. The stage is set for a NASTY unleashing. Soooooo NASTY.

Week 6 Press Release
The Perpetual Dynasty vs El Pollo Loco (Rivalry Week #1)
Date: October 16, 2016

Place: TPD Field House
Starting Lineup:
QB: Matthew Stafford
WR: Odell Beckham Jr.
WR: Allen Robinson
RB: LeSean McCoy
RB: Christine Michael
TE: Coby Fleener
FLEX: Alshon Jeffery
K: Stephen Gostkowski
DEF: Tennessee
TPD finally got back to his winning ways in week 5. It was a full team effort and TPD made some key gameday managing decisions to come away with a victory. New comers Marshall and Rivers scored the most points on the team and were the catalyst for the victory; but based on their difficult match-ups, the flexibility of his roster, and TPD's managerial tendencies, each of them will head to the bench for week 6. It is hard to imagine any other team taking those type of players out of their lineup after such key performances and success, but TPD dances to the beat of his own drum, not afraid to go against the grain and do what he ultimately feels is best for his team.
Week 6 is rivalry week and another match-up against the Loco franchise. Loco's squad has improved since week 1 and their depth gives them options across the board. Players on opposing teams love playing against TPD week to week, evidenced by TPD's toughest schedule in the league. Loco will most probably be the next in line. TPD is back at the friendly confines of TPD Field House for the first time since week 2 and the fans are ready to explode in support of their hometown team.
TPD is happy with how this team has developed. The pick up of Rivers from free agency may have solved his inconsistent quarterback play, while the trade for Tyler Eifert could solidify his TE slot in the future. A consistent trend for TPD over the previous 4 seasons is the pick up in play and performance over the course of a season. He hopes that is the circumstance for another season of MFFL football. Something that is always the case for TPD is the delivery of some stinky NASTY to his opponents at every opportunity. The NASTY quota was filled to full capacity last week and the excess run off is ready to ooze everywhere in week 6. TPD's week 6 opponent better hope they have a team tailor who excels in cleaning out stains, but NASTY stains are forever.
Player Profile: Christine Michael
TPD put faith in Michael when no one else would. The 2016 draft pick has been one of the few players on TPD's roster that has remained, as many other players were shipped away. TPD knew the type of value Michael could have this season and Michael has done nothing but support TPD's faith. In week 6 Michael will leave no doubt that he is the Seahawks RB#1 this season, and one of TPD's best at delivering NASTY performances. N.A.S.T.Y.

TPD lost his 3rd game in a row last week and the consequences of starting (1-3) for the 2nd year in a row were aimed directly at his roster. TPD cleaned house this week. He made multiple trades, sending a message to his team, the fans, and the league. It is simply unacceptable that we are at this point yet again. The franchise cannot put into words how disappointing it is to continually start seasons poorly, but as the theme for 2016 indicates TPD remains strong and hardened by the compounding circumstances.
It is not everyday that a team acquires one of the best RBs in fantasy, only to trade them a day later. TPD did just that after acquiring D. Johnson. Many thought David was the piece TPD had been missing, but he had other plans. He quickly sent a resounding message to his roster, indicating no one is assured a starting spot. It was a truly unprecedented and jaw dropping move. Once the dust had settled TPD was left with 5 well known WR commodities in Beckham, Evans, Marshall, Jeffery. and Robinson. One of the most imposing group of WRs ever will try to flip the script for this franchise. TPD feels comfortable with any of them starting each week depending on the match-ups. This week will be another tough decision as a guy like Alshon is currently on the bench but he has a great match-up and opportunity with K. White now on IR.
His RB position completely changed. Christine Michael was the only RB to survive the trading onslaught and stay on TPDs roster. He welcomes two dependable starters in McCoy and Anderson to help maintain stability at the position. All told TPD could welcome an astounding 6 new starters to his lineup in preparation for a big game against TNR. TPD is desperate. He has done everything he possibility can to field what he believes is the best team possible. Only time will tell, and this week present new challenges against a team welcoming new starters of their own. It is TPD's hope that his roster can reach its full potential just as the heart of his divisional schedule picks up in a few weeks.
All the new faces present an opportunity to examine new NASTY abilities in TPD's starting lineup. The possibilities are endless and TPD could be looking at a NASTY explosion come Sunday. He has 3 weeks worth of NASTY overflowing the barrels that barely contain it, and whether it is this week or future ones, you can bet the impact will be felt by many. LOOK OUT...NASTY!
Player Profile: Odell Beckham Jr.
Beckham's start to the season has been a microcosm of TPD's season. He's been slow out of the gates with seemingly the whole world/league ganging up against him like TPD's opponents each week. Week 5 is the time for Beckham to break out and be the macrocosm for what is to come for TPD. He has a great match-up on Sunday Night Football and look for Beckham to be the catalyst for changing the landscape of the season. OBJ, unleash the NASTY.

Time: 1:00PM
Place: Jerry World

WR: Odell Beckham Jr.
WR: Mike Evans
RB: Matt Forte
RB: Demarco Murray
TE: Kyle Rudolph
FLEX: Alshon Jeffery

DEF: Washington
TPD lost in week 3 to a team who blew up against him, stop me if you have heard this before. For the last year and three games TPD's schedule has been the hardest this league has ever seen. Teams are currently averaging 145 ppg against him this season. It is a demoralizing feeling for a franchise desperate to be rid of these bad circumstances, but TPD will not flinch. If what has happened to him previously did not deter his motivation and dedication then neither will this.
Week 4 will mark another chance for TPD to bang shields against the league's 2nd winningest team, The Real McCoy. McCoy is coming off of a huge week and the match-ups look favorable for them. TPD on the other hand has brutal match-ups for both his WRs and RBs. He will once again try to pick the best players before Sunday, though the last two weeks it has not gone well. He wants to start guys like Evans and Michael but it might be hard because of their match-ups. Newly acquired Demarco Murray will be placed in the starting lineup in hopes he can continue his great start to the 2016 season.
A (1-3) start for the 2nd consecutive year awaits TPD if he were to lose. The start to the season has not gone as planned but TPD knows this game. It has hardened him and given birth to the theme for this season, what is dead may never die, but rises again harder and stronger. TPD will look towards his battle cry for strength and patience, as he knows he has a team that can win games in this league. Also giving TPD momentum will be NASTY powered bus caravan, blasting across the country towards their destination. NASTY fuel is 10X more powerful than nitrous oxide and it carries with it a hungry football team, straight to the gates of his week 4 opponent. Break down the gates NASTY.
Player Profile: Kyle Rudolph
It is difficult to select a player profile due to the nature of TPD's match-ups. Stepping up to the plate will be Kyle Rudolph. He has played great to start 2016 and his healthy amount of targets is wonderful to see. Rudolph will cement himself in TPD's lineup as the starting TE for the foreseeable future with a NASTY performance come Monday night. Rudolph the NASTY noised reindeer is coming to town.

A week 2 loss to Pryor was overshadowed by the birth of TPD's son. Awaiting baby Arlo at home is a piggy bank with the inscription, "My fantasy football fund." May his rise through the fantasy football ranks be swift and impactful. He will forever be loved.
TPD heads into week 3 with a revamped roster in preparation for a familiar foe. LFB vs TPD is the best the East division has to offer year to year. It is one of the best games every season and this year is no exception. LFB presents a 3rd challenge in a row for TPD, but that is not surprising since the MFFL schedule is always a beast. TPDs hard schedule picked up where it left off last season. Teams are once again scoring points at will against him. All told, this is a massive divisional game.
Another week down and another week when TPD welcomes many new faces to the roster family. The roster has been in need of polishing and TPD has been working hard to field a team that can compete on a weekly basis. He finds confidence in the fact that his team has played well even without huge weeks from his WRs, the heart and soul of his team. The WRs for this week are not yet set in stone as Beckham will be going against arguably the league's top corner, but TPD feels if the WRs can start performing at a higher level then his whole team could take off. This is the last week DeAngelo will be a feature back. The ride has been fun and he has done everything TPD asked of him. It is hard seeing guys like Cooper and Lacy on the bench but TPD has to be happy, at least for this week, that his roster allows him the flexibility to keep guys like that on the pine. After a shipping error last week, when the NASTY delivery never made it to TPD Field House, TPD has hired a new truck driver, and he is set to deliver two weeks worth of NASTY to the loading dock of Busch Field. TPD will attempt to deliver his 2nd road divisional NASTY shippment on Sunday. Just plain NASTY.
Player Profile: Marcus Mariota
On display for TPD's week 3 player profile is Marcus Mariota. Marcus has played well to start 2016, scoring over 15 points in both weeks. Even more impressive, he's done it while only rushing for a grand total of 30 yards. Facing the league worst pass defense over the first two weeks, look for Mariota to explode in week 3. Using his arms and his legs he will show his NASTY side.

Week 2 Press Release
The Perpetual Dynasty vs Pryor to the Snap
Date: September 18, 2016
Time: 1:00PM
Place: TPD Field House
Starting Lineup:
QB: Matthew Stafford
WR: Odell Beckham Jr.

RB: Danny Woodhead
TE: Antonio Gates
FLEX: Amari Cooper
K: Stephen Gostkowski
DEF: Oakland
What a week. TPD began the 2016 season in style, scoring the most points in the league and obtaining a massive victory over divisional rival TDs.
TPD lit up the score board with a 169 point effort. He knew it was a must win game for the franchise's psyche. His roster played their hearts out, leading to TPD's 40th all time regular season win. Now he prepares for another challenging opponent, Pryor. This match-up is the only game between two unbeaten teams in week 2 of the MFFL season. A (2-0) start for TPD would be monumental for the franchise and fan base. Pryor's balanced roster features star power and favorable match-ups for week 2, but TPD is maintaining the same laser focus and confidence he had in week 1.
He sends Mike Evans to the bench, even after a strong week 1 performance, due to his difficult match-up. Newly acquired Danny Woodhead will be inserted into the starting lineup, ever after Matt Forte balled out as TPD's player profile in week 1. It is a decision based on match-ups and the fact that Forte is on a short week. TPD made strides in his gameday managing a year ago and he hopes this move falls in line with that growth. TPD gives a special thanks to DeAngelo Williams for putting the team on his back when TPD needed him most. Williams time in the starting lineup is short, but already memorable. It is time to buckle down and let the ride that is TPD 2016 travel to heights unknown. Propelling the quest will be a nuclear barrel of NASTY. The after waste will blaze a trail right through the gut of Pryor. A gargantuan pile of NASTY awaits anyone who dares travel to TPD Field House, and Pryor will be swimming in it come Sunday. TPD's home opener will be a sight to be hold.
Player Profile: Alshon Jeffery
Stepping into the spotlight for week 2 will be a man absent from TPD's starting lineup in week one. Jeffery enters the lineup after a strong week 1 performance against a good defense. Jeffery has been itching to return to TPD's starting lineup ever since last season ended and the delay will be well worth the wait once he delivers a NASTY showing on Monday Night Football. Show your NASTY desire Alshon, and stake your claim to TPD's starting lineup for the foreseeable future. NASTY!

What is dead may never die. You down with TPD? welcome to TPD football 2016.
The MFFL season is hours away from kickoff and the time is now to build upon the success of the past and begin a new for the future. The Perpetual Dynasty is a new face for a historical franchise of the MFFL. It is a name meant to signify the growth from an already established team with significant clout. TPD is back, and better than ever.
Standing in his way week one is of course, TDs. This traditional week one match-up has the league all a buzz. The hype for this game is unmatched by its predecessors, as TDs feels extremely satisfied with their roster entering the weekend clash. TPD is embracing the hype, looking down at TDs from a perch of confidence and hunger. TPD's only loss to TDs came in week one last season. Come Sunday he will remind TDs of what happens when you go head to head against THE.
TPD's roster is a work in progress, but after a draft in which he took 5 straight WRs, and a few early season trades, TPD is looks like the teams of old, ready to spell doom to the TD's franchise. He is looking for many players to step up in week one and outperform their expected values. It is hard to consider 2016 a bounce back season, given all that TPD accomplished a year ago considering the circumstances, but getting back to the playoffs absolutely a goal. The four time East division points champion looks to dominate much like the teams of old. The awakening of the TPD traditions to the consciousness of the league has already begun, and TDs will witness first hand the power of such a remembrance. The NASTY will be unleashed from Dynasty; it will spread like wildfire, engulfing TDs in an inescapable bind.....it's NASTY baby. The tone shall be set and 2016 will sound like infinite bliss. Week one has arrived.
Player Profile: Matt Forte
TPD's rhythm and flow is no doubt tied to his WRs, but gracing the cover of TPD's week one player profile is RB Matt Forte. Forte is a bit of an unknown entering his age 30 season and a new team, but TPD has high hopes for this man of skilled hands. Look for Forte to catch a plethora of passes in week one and be the difference maker in this mega match-up. Forte's NASTY qualities will be on full display each time he reals in the rock. So NASTY.

Welcome to the Hall
2016 is almost upon us, with the winds of the MFFL ever changing. The 5th season of MFFL football will be a memorable one. Records have been written, championships have been won, and certain players' time in the MFFL have come to a close. Two retirings in particular mean it is time to induct the first two members into The Perpetual Dynasty Hall of Fame.
When managers around the league are asked to select a player who most encompasses the history of the TPD franchise, there is only one man that comes to mind...Calvin Johnson...Megatron. TPD drafted Megatron in 2013 and 2015, while also trading for him in 2014. Calvin has been a member of the TPD franchise for each of the last three seasons. Megatron bled for this franchise and he was the life source and heartbeat for TPD every time he took the field. His name in TPD's roster personified excellence and dominance. This man had a freaking megatron dance named after him. He is the first player to ever be inducted into the TPD Hall of Fame and we are proud to have such a deserving player be the leader yet again for another chapter of TPD football.
The 2nd member of the 2016 Hall of Fame class is none other than Peyton Manning. Peyton was drafted by TPD in 2013 and in Peyton's first game carrying the TPD banners he threw for 462 yards and 7 touchdowns. The 2013 season was the greatest season ever assembled by an MFFL quarterback. Peyton was the closer, with many of his games starting at or later than 4:00PM. No matter how the match-up was unfolding in 2013, Peyton closed the door and won many match-ups. His time with TPD was short, but the affect of his work is ever lasting.
Neither man could help TPD reach the ultimate goal, but their credentials for such a prestigious induction are unquestioned. They will now live forever in the Hall, and all those who come after will remember the legacy set forth by two historical TPD warriors. Heroes get remembered, but legends never die. Welcome to the Hall, Megatron and Peyton.
What is dead may never die.

Welcome to TPD 2016
Not much can be said that has not been said already…but TPD will say it anyway! That’s right, as the abbreviation in the previous sentence illustrates, Perpetual Dynasty is no longer a name without emphaticism. Insert the word The (pronounced like THE Ohio State) and hope springs a new. For a franchise starved for a championship TPD will attempt to honor the greatness of the past while also adapting towards a brighter future. Not unlike season’s of old, TPD gives his first post of a new league year with remembrance of a painful season, but confidence from the underlining themes.
PD’s 2015 campaign was a grind from the very beginning. A (1-4) start doomed the season for a PD team who missed the playoffs by only a single game. After such a poor start PD rallied the troops, and from week 6 on PD averaged a fantastic 143 PPG. Wind had re-entered the franchise's sails, and PD found himself in an all or nothing 2016 playoff play-in game against Tavon and Only. But like so many times before PD could not get the job done when he most desired to; he lost one of the league’s most significantly impactful and first ever playoff play-in games of all time.
Missing the playoffs for the first time ever left PD with yet another wound and an eventual scar. PD ruminated. He questioned the questions he had questioned so many times before, and from that questioning came brush strokes of a larger portrait that was PD 2015. Statistics began to surface, stats like: four different teams scored at least 160 points against PD. PD’s East divisional opponent’s devoured him for an average of almost 140 PPG; yes...each time an East team played PD they averaged scoring 138 points. PD had the hardest SOS by an astounding 105 points. The largest difference between hardest schedule and 2nd hardest ever; the previous record was only a 38 point difference. All of the brush strokes paint a picture of a team incapable of making the playoffs. Throw in the fact that PD had injuries to Andrew Luck, Arian Foster, Marshawn Lynch, Alshon Jeffery, and Jonathan Stewart and it becomes abundantly clear that no one could have led a team with these circumstances to the playoffs. While this fact will forever remain, it is also clear that PD has much to be proud of in a season viewed from its entire whole.
PD was 3rd in the league in total points, and for the 4th straight season he was the highest scoring team in the East division; a stat which makes him feel like the East still goes through him. Even with all of the injuries, he managed to field a team that average over 143 PPG for more than two/thirds of the season. He continually made sound free agent pick ups while also improving as a gameday manager. Simply put, PD managed the hell out of his team, but he would be foolish to think he can repeat such managerial success.
What is not foolish in looking at these stats is thinking TPD is still the same dude. Last season may have damaged his all time numbers but in the grand scheme of things it was still a somewhat dominating season. The old adage rings true for TPD in 2016...don't change a thing. Crazy though is the fact that TPD has been changing, and the consequences of his growth as a manager have yet to be revealed. Analyzing the nature of a TPD has unearthed some simple truths heading into 2016, he is scarred, he is still hungry, and scariest of all...
he is improving.
