It is the final week of the regular season and TPD is an inch away from securing a playoff spot. The details of playoff positioning can be seen on the match-up build-up page. It has been an up and down season for TPD for the 2nd consecutive season but the pay off could be oh so sweet. He won in week 13 and has now won 4 out of his last 5 games. Entering this week last season TPD was ready to do war in the league's first ever playoff play in game, but this year TPD will be sitting back patiently and scouting potential playoff variables. Once TPD's playoff spot for 2016 is official he will erupt in excitement and anticipation. It is an honor to compete this late in the year against some of the best teams in the world.
With last week's victory TPD is still in play for the East Division Title and more than likely will finish with the most points in the East division for the 5th straight season. Last week saw TPD again make sound decisions with his lineup. He picked up Pittsburgh D the morning of gameday and they came through, putting up strong defensive numbers. He continued to hold onto Gostkowski even after some shaky performances and it paid off as Gostkowski scored 17 from the kicker position. Week 14 will see Rob Kelley back in the starting lineup. He has not been starting since his week 11 explosion of 35 points, but his benching has been well considered as he has 11 total points in his last 2 games. Kelley's scheduled softens down the stretch and a strong performance in week 14 may promote him to starting status for potential playoff match-ups. The health of Julio Jones is a concern. A hobbled star WR is one of the last things any team wants at this point of the season. Having him sit out week 14 may be what is best for everyone, if he can get healthy for the following week.
With East division supremacy on the line, you know TPD Field House will be on fire for this week's match-up. The fans will try to help TPD secure a playoff spot in style by obtaining a victory and getting ready for some high octane playoff atmosphere. What better place to unleash the NASTY from Dynasty. Fans will enjoy this pre playoff appetizer, because once this week is over...it's on.
Player Profile: Rob Kelley
TPD has been smart with his Rob Kelley usage and now it may be time to unleash him. He continues to show is worth in the Washington offense and this time of year brings cold weather and chilled bones. Rob Kelley will deliver NASTY hit after NASTY hit, leading to big performances for TPD down the stretch. Oh my...NASTY.
