What is dead may never die. You down with TPD? welcome to TPD football 2016.
The MFFL season is hours away from kickoff and the time is now to build upon the success of the past and begin a new for the future. The Perpetual Dynasty is a new face for a historical franchise of the MFFL. It is a name meant to signify the growth from an already established team with significant clout. TPD is back, and better than ever.
Standing in his way week one is of course, TDs. This traditional week one match-up has the league all a buzz. The hype for this game is unmatched by its predecessors, as TDs feels extremely satisfied with their roster entering the weekend clash. TPD is embracing the hype, looking down at TDs from a perch of confidence and hunger. TPD's only loss to TDs came in week one last season. Come Sunday he will remind TDs of what happens when you go head to head against THE.
TPD's roster is a work in progress, but after a draft in which he took 5 straight WRs, and a few early season trades, TPD is looks like the teams of old, ready to spell doom to the TD's franchise. He is looking for many players to step up in week one and outperform their expected values. It is hard to consider 2016 a bounce back season, given all that TPD accomplished a year ago considering the circumstances, but getting back to the playoffs absolutely a goal. The four time East division points champion looks to dominate much like the teams of old. The awakening of the TPD traditions to the consciousness of the league has already begun, and TDs will witness first hand the power of such a remembrance. The NASTY will be unleashed from Dynasty; it will spread like wildfire, engulfing TDs in an inescapable bind.....it's NASTY baby. The tone shall be set and 2016 will sound like infinite bliss. Week one has arrived.
Player Profile: Matt Forte
TPD's rhythm and flow is no doubt tied to his WRs, but gracing the cover of TPD's week one player profile is RB Matt Forte. Forte is a bit of an unknown entering his age 30 season and a new team, but TPD has high hopes for this man of skilled hands. Look for Forte to catch a plethora of passes in week one and be the difference maker in this mega match-up. Forte's NASTY qualities will be on full display each time he reals in the rock. So NASTY.
