A week 2 loss to Pryor was overshadowed by the birth of TPD's son. Awaiting baby Arlo at home is a piggy bank with the inscription, "My fantasy football fund." May his rise through the fantasy football ranks be swift and impactful. He will forever be loved.
TPD heads into week 3 with a revamped roster in preparation for a familiar foe. LFB vs TPD is the best the East division has to offer year to year. It is one of the best games every season and this year is no exception. LFB presents a 3rd challenge in a row for TPD, but that is not surprising since the MFFL schedule is always a beast. TPDs hard schedule picked up where it left off last season. Teams are once again scoring points at will against him. All told, this is a massive divisional game.
Another week down and another week when TPD welcomes many new faces to the roster family. The roster has been in need of polishing and TPD has been working hard to field a team that can compete on a weekly basis. He finds confidence in the fact that his team has played well even without huge weeks from his WRs, the heart and soul of his team. The WRs for this week are not yet set in stone as Beckham will be going against arguably the league's top corner, but TPD feels if the WRs can start performing at a higher level then his whole team could take off. This is the last week DeAngelo will be a feature back. The ride has been fun and he has done everything TPD asked of him. It is hard seeing guys like Cooper and Lacy on the bench but TPD has to be happy, at least for this week, that his roster allows him the flexibility to keep guys like that on the pine. After a shipping error last week, when the NASTY delivery never made it to TPD Field House, TPD has hired a new truck driver, and he is set to deliver two weeks worth of NASTY to the loading dock of Busch Field. TPD will attempt to deliver his 2nd road divisional NASTY shippment on Sunday. Just plain NASTY.
Player Profile: Marcus Mariota
On display for TPD's week 3 player profile is Marcus Mariota. Marcus has played well to start 2016, scoring over 15 points in both weeks. Even more impressive, he's done it while only rushing for a grand total of 30 yards. Facing the league worst pass defense over the first two weeks, look for Mariota to explode in week 3. Using his arms and his legs he will show his NASTY side.
