TPD enters week 10 on the heels of a massive performance. He scored 174 points in week 9, the 2nd highest point total of the season, bested only by his 200 performance earlier in the year. It is yet another accomplishment to add to the already stuffed pages of the TPD record book. Even with the hellish seasons TPD has endured over the last two years, his record book continues to be revamped as his teams continue to roll out dominant performance. Week 10 is yet another opportunity to acquire a necessary win against an eastern division foe, LFB.
TPD hopes to put on a better performance than in their first match-up this year. The crazy fans of TPD nation will fill the Field House in help of such hopes. His team is completely different than it was to start the season, per usual. TPD feels the additions of T. Eifert and Carolina D have solidified two starting positions that were once fluid and the WR core can explode at any moment, as demonstrated last week. TPD's RBs are still fluid, and L McCoy is on bye this week, but overall the position has stepped up and TPD has been playing the match-ups well. His gameday managing has been on point ever since a few slip ups early in the season, and he hopes to once again put his team in the best position possible to win.
He is thankful to be given the opportunity to play meaningful games in this league. Last season he fought, and played meaningful games all the way to the final regular season game of the year. He hopes to last as long as he can and perhaps get back to the playoffs after a one year hiatus. It is an honor each time TPD laces up the cleats in preparation for an MFFL game, and he does not take it for granted.
What is dead continues to never die and TPD has battled his heart out this season. His managing over the last two seasons may be the best of his career, but his ridiculous schedule has kept him from reaching the heights that illustrate such facts. The NASTY was redistributed in efficient, dominant fashion last week. This week TPD will employ the same delivery company for his must win home game. The ruckus nature of TPD Field House will ensure the delivery is handled on schedule and in NASTY style. How NASTY it will be when TPD's opponent is pelted by the onslaught of NASTY performances.
Player Profile: Stephen Gostkowski
A kicker is the player profile? Yes. Gostkowski has been a TPD regular for years and his steady leg has been a part of some of the best teams of all time. His season started slow but TPD needs his consistency down the stretch. It is a huge weapon to get 10 or more points each week from a kicker. TPD held onto Gostkowski over the bye week and a NASTY game come Sunday night will show everyone why.
