TPD performed horribly last week. He will burn the tape and move on to week 7. It has been a horrible start to the year, but hope is not lost. In 2016 TPD was in a similar situation in the middle of the season, faced with starting two players on the dreaded Thursday night in a must win game. Those two exploded and led the team to a 174 point effort, en route to his first championship ever. TPD is now faced with a similar must win scenario, and two players going on a Thursday. History is about to repeat itself.
The roster has to start performing better. The studs have to stud. He hopes to get McCaffrey back next week, but that is not for certain. Engram gets one more chance to start for TPD. If he fails to produce he may be at risk of being cut from the roster all together. TPD took Engram in the 6th round, instead of the other guy ranked right next to him in TPD's rankings, Kyler Murray. It may be a decision that haunts him for some time, but this week Engram has a chance to prove himself. Tucker is on bye but he has played like the kicker TPD hoped for when trading for him. He is a classic TPD guy. It's time for Cam, Tyreek, and Adams to step up. It is now or never. TPD's back is against the wall, and to fight his way out he must be unconventional, like he has so many times before.
Always unconventional is the NASTY. It took a week off but will return for week 7. Playing on the first lady's birthday, expect to see some fireworks. Blow out the candles NASTY fireworks.
Player Profile: Boston Scott
On that fateful Thursday night in week 9 of 2016, TPD called upon Evans for his player profile. TPD now turns back the clock and calls upon Scott. Scott will be featured in every way possible, and surge through setting the tone for the rest of the week. The unconventional duo of Engram and Scott will send shock waves through the league, signaling TPD's return to the competitive ranks. Such bursting through the door NASTY. TPD fights until the last. Each meaningful game of MFFL ball is cherished by TPD, for it is a gift, and one that is never taken for granted. What a great opportunity indeed, to continue the MFFL fight come Sunday. Special.
