TPD won last week, snapping a 3 game losing streak. The team was juiced up after TPD traded for the best RB in fantasy football Christian McCaffrey, and even though CMC is hurt and didn't play last week, the excitement and juice was evident. It was a bold move, TPD destroyed his depth to acquire CMC, but the results were already dynamic. Mike Davis performed the best of anyone in TPD's lineup, and continued production from him would reduce the need for a speedy return from CMC, though obviously TPD wants to start his new ultra mega weapon sooner than later.
TPD stated heads would roll if he started (1-3), and thats exactly what happen. He did the same thing in 2016 before going on to win his first championship, and the sights for this year are squarely on the same price. The optimal lineup once healthy is truly terrifying. TPD's arrow is pointing up. The master of moves is at it again, and the whole league has been put on notice....again. He molds and crafts a lineup like no other. Time to ham.
Newton and Adams are back and ready to rock. Hill will look to continue his beastly ways. So far, the atypical decision to draft Hill where TPD did is paying off. He hopes for a classic Hill explosion soon. Jacobs is out on bye, but TPD will start two high end replacements. Davis is on a roll and has surprised everyone in his replacement of CMC. Mattison finally gets a chance to prove he is the best handcuff in the league after a Cook injury. His match-up is the same one Davis exploited a week ago. Chase Edmonds will also start for the first time all year, after proving each week he is the best back in Arizona, just itching to get more playing time. TPD has been holding onto those two players all year in preparation for moments such as this. Now is their time to shine. Engram continues to be ok, but TPD thinks he will catch his first receiving TD of the year this week. The Rams D has stuck on TPD's roster for many weeks now. It is rare when he doesn't stream defenses, but that speaks to how well they have been playing. Tucker continues to be ultra consistent and reliable. This team is so similar to TPD teams of old. It has pure NASTY talent everywhere, and it aims to dominate. This is what he does, he trades, scouts, and moves in ways others can't even see or comprehend. Always innovative and ahead of the curb, for what is dead may never die, but rises again harder and stronger. You down with TPD?
Always down with TPD is the NASTY. It roared last week. A roar that sent chills down the spines of all others in the MFFL. The beast has awoken. Take your bites of TPD when you can, because that time ends quickly. Entering week 6, that time is officially up. The NASTY will flex throughout the remainder of the season. It comes for you.
Player Profile: Alexander Mattison
Davis was a strong candidate for this selection, he has been playing so well. But this week had to be Mattison. TPD has been waiting, perhaps longer than others would have, but now his patience will be paid off. Mattison is going to shred on Sunday. He will display a NASTY plethora of balanced skills and well roundedness. He's, like TPD, has been waiting for this chance, and all will be left on the field. Smooth NASTY baby!
