TPD is in a hole. He has lost three straight games. Last week was ridiculous. He lost Newton to Covid, and Adams was a shock inactive, leaving TPD with no one to start on Monday Night in his WR2 spot. Without those two things happening, victory was all but assured. It has been a brutal three weeks for this franchise, but this week he put the league on notice once again, displaying his toughness and determination, trading for the best player in the league.
Christian McCaffrey is now a member of TPD. The 1st overall pick of this year's draft comes back to TPD, the team that has owned him more than any other to this point in McCaffrey's career. CMC has won two championships with TPD, both times in which TPD traded for him. The move sent shockwaves through the entire league. One thing is clear, if this is to be a down year for TPD, he is not going down without a fight and he will make such an ending worthy of remembrance.
TPD has made splash moves like this before, but never for an injured player. The hole could deepen after this week considering the talent TPD gave up to get him. But once healthy, he will form a dominant force of NASTINESS with TPD's other stars the likes of which have rarely been seen. CMC, Hill, Adams, Jacobs, and Newton are straight up stars. Look out league, no matter how deep the hole, this team will terrorize all.
The starting lineup is a mess this week after this trade. TPD is scrambling to find a starting nine he feels comfortable with. For now Hilton and Edmonds will man the vacated spots, though both are looking for better days than they have had to date. Brees is playing on Monday Night at home, a recipe for success for this likely one week flyer. Jacobs is bound to get rolling at some point, it could be this week against a defense that has struggled against the run. Mike Davis has played well in CMC stead, and this week he has an awesome match-up. Engram will likely have his best game of the season this week. It is going to take unexpected circumstances for TPD to come out on top this week, but that is fantasy football, and non one does it better than TPD. He fights tooth and nail when backed into a corner, and the weight of such fierceness is about to be laid at the feet of every opponent hence forth.
Always laying NASTINESS at the feet of opponents is the NASTY. It is time for it to eat once more. It did not like the previous main courses, so TPD went and got it some prime choice CMC steak. Naw on that, and devour all. The NASTY leaves none alive in its wake.
Player Profile: Tyreek Hill
Last week's player profile didn't even play. Thats how crazy of a week it was. This week's is a player ready to explode. All year TPD has witnessed huge performances from players across the league, now it's his turn. Hill has been great this year, but has yet to have his signature explosion. That all changes this week. He will light the lamp often and torch a trail towards a TPD victory. Blazen NASTY! Peace!
