TPD has lost two straight games and is in danger of falling into a huge hole. He has not started this poorly since 2016 when he started (1-3). Entering week 5 of that week TPD made a roster overhaul trading away anyone that was not performing, specifically acquiring a bevy of big named WRs. Entering week 4 this season, TPD has once again crafted a formidable WR core. Hill, Adams, Boyd, Brown, and Hilton give him unbelievable flexibility each week and trade value in spades. TPD went on to win his first championship in 2016 and proved his metal as a survivor. Things are less desperate currently than 2016. He is top 5 in points scored and currently holds the most difficult schedule in the league. Things will turn around, and everyone knows it. But as he stated in 2016, a (1-3) start is unacceptable, and if it happens again, heads will roll. The time for screwing around is over.
The lineup remains largely the same, as many of TPD's best are still performing. He welcomes back Adams from injury and a new defense will try to exploit a very favorable match-up. James Robinson shined last week, even in a loss. He has been unbelievable, and TPD's claim when he got him that Robinson was about to explode and TPD got him on the cheap, seems to have been all too accurate. The roster is shaping up on the bench, per usual, and soon TPD will reach his full potential, per usual. The time to play TPD is early, everyone knows this, but that time is quickly ending. He will evolve into his full form this week and set the tone for the rest of the season.
Always setting the tone is the NASTY. It has roared hard this year and will soon be paid off for its efforts. Coming home to the House after two straight defeats is just what the NASTY needs to feast once more. Expect a belt loop or two to be loosened from its waist after this devouring. So full NASTY.
Player Profile: Davante Adams
He's baaaack. After a one week absence, and shortened week 2 game, Adams returns to give TPD a boost. He is an unquestioned top WR and one that transforms TPD's lineup when healthy. At home on Monday Night against a undermatched foe is just what the doctor ordered. Adams will displays his powers just like he did in week 1. The catalyst has arrived, and he is ready to burn rubber in a NASTY acceleration. The NASTY smoke!
