No Matter the Circumstance, TPD's Dominance Shines On

"Shine on, Abra Stone. You shine on."

Even during a season in which TPD missed the playoffs for only the 2nd time in league history, his dominance was as bright as ever.

Entering 2020, TPD's run of excellence was crescendoing. He had won 3peat championships in 16, 17, and 18, and had been the best team in the league in 2019, going (12-2) in the regular season. There was nothing left for him to do, to prove he was the best. 2020 dared to put such a sentiment to the test. Even while scoring the 3rd most points in the league, (TPD has never finished below 4th in points scored), his record only amounted to (6-8), tying his worst regular season record of 2015. But while enduring such a difficult season, TPD's shine remained.

Clear to everyone, was the fact that TPD had constructed once again the best lineup in the league. Headlined by Hill and Adams, TPD secured other high level playmakers like Herbert, McCaffrey, and Jacobs. No one wanted TPD to make the playoffs, for they knew what would happen if he did. Alas, it did not come to pass, in large part to CMC playing only one game for TPD after acquiring him via trade. TPD also had the league's 3rd toughest schedule, and his classic bad circumstance, that has followed him throughout his MFFL career. With all that said, last year proved something to everyone in the league. Regardless of TPD's record, his team is the most feared, every...single...week. His record does nothing to damage his shine. If TPD didn't have bad luck, he'd have no luck at all. Think about it. Even in his worst two seasons in the MFFL, he still had 6 wins in both, missing the playoffs by a single game both times. The poor circumstance, the difficult schedule, and the target squarely on his back, could only damage him to one game below (.500). It brings to mind the scene in The Avengers, when Thanos is amused by a single drop of his own blood, after Ironman unleashed every thing he had on him.

TPD has taken everything the league could possibly unleash, and has spit it out. Now, entering 2021, TPD will make clear the severe consequences against those who dare make him bleed a single drop of his own blood. Yahoo has already prophesied such, giving TPD the only (A) draft grade in the league. Don't get it twisted. This isn't a comeback, TPD's been here for years. What is dead may never die, but rises again harder and stronger. Nostalgia. Reverence. You down with TPD? Welcome to TPD 2021.
