DEF: New Orleans
TPD won in dramatic fashion last week to keep his playoff hopes alive. Once again TPD's opponent came to play, a distressing theme from this season, but TPD answered the bell, led by an unbelievable performance from Tyreek Hill. Hill scored 58 points, and had over 200 yards by the end of the 1st quarter, scoring 3 touchdowns for the whole game. It was an explosion TPD had been waiting for, and it was well worth the wait. Hill's performance re-ignited the TPD sails, and will be remembered forever in TPD lore. TPD now has the most points scored in the league this season, averaging a ridiculous 153 ppg over is last four games. He has crafted the best team in the league and it is a shame the standings do not reflect that. He prepares for another week in which he gets to play meaningful MFFL ball. What a privilege.
The starting lineup is in flux for a 2nd straight week. He was right to be wary of Herbert last week, but Justin will likely get the start again this week. Taysom has played well, but TPD fears about him going up against a team that just got to play him two weeks ago, and will likely deploy a better scheme to stop him. Adams and Hill, that is all I need to say. They have been the two most dominant fantasy players all season. I guess TPD knows what he is doing placing faith in the WR position ever year. Jacobs may be out, but TPD is confident Booker will fill his shoes well. White gets a spot start, but it may end up being more if his receiving production holds moving forward. It is a sneaky strong pick up for TPD this week. TE will be a gametime decision, though TPD may end up starting both of them if he feels they can both exploit their match-ups. The flex could also be filled by Beasley or Edmonds. New Orleans has been playing great and gets a solid match-up this week. TPD will have to use his stellar gameday managing skills this week, as the optimal lineup is far from observable. He will trust himself and his experience, which separates him from everyone else this time of year.
Always separating is the NASTY. It was blazing past defenders last week at breakneck speed, and there is no slowing now. Even amidst terrible circumstance, the NASTY roars deep and impact-fully. There is simply no stopping this franchise. Year after year they are the dominant force in the league, and the NASTY is at the core of it. DyNASTY.
Player Profile: James White
White is set to explode this week. His receptions will be plentiful against a team that gives them up to RBs at a ridiculous clip. Ever since Burkhead's injury white has been playing at a high level. This week he will lead TPD to a victory, and prove once again the advantage TPD has over all others due to his ridiculously NASTY player evaluation and gameday managing. Expertise NASTY!
