TPD foretold the impending devastation of his opponent following the unleashing of his pristine gameday managing skills, and once again TPD has proven why he is the best at lineup manipulation. No one was starting Wilson in any league last week, but TPD knew better than to follow the sheep to slaughter. Wilson put on a show and was a critical member of the team's success last week. Had TPD listened to the misguided masses things may have been different. It is sweet validation and a confidence builder for a team whose success will be tied to future lineup decisions of the similar variety. Time and time again TPD puts his team in the best position to win by making decision no other team would have the guts to make.
He's won four straight games and this week is another big one, facing off against an eastern division foe. Wilson will start again as he looks to have another second half explosive. After his support of TPD's proclamation last week TPD will roll with him once more. The trade for Brown was also a critical one, as Brown played great in his first game donning the TPD colors. He will have to carry the load in a tough match-up against the ravens this week. Cooks is back in New Orleans to face his old team. He will prove a point on Sunday. McCaffrey continues to be one of the most consistent players in the league, with huge upside for an explosion any give week. Conner has been the driving force behind TPD's success this year. His physical play and dominating stat lines have been masterful. TPD's pick up of Conner before the news on Bell broke was one of the best free agency moves in MFFL history, if not the best. However long this lasts TPD is grateful and will forever be indebted to Conner's leadership and dedication. Watson will make a spot start at TE. Chubb is a great flex play as he has performed well in his first two games as the lead back. Beckham is on bye and will be missed. The bench looks to have some strong performances, and due to some tough match-ups, TPD may once again be forced to start players with blow up potential even though others would deem it improper. TPD traded for arguably the best kicker in the league this week, Justin Tucker, and he will look for a blow up second half akin to the Gostkowski season two years ago, when the dominate kicker came alive late in support of a championship. TPD will once again wait on a great kicker to get hot, when Tucker performs to his potential down the stretch.
Always meeting its potential is the NASTY. It has been so NASTY this year. In it's last game of a long road trip, the NASTY will leave it all on the field before returning home to the friendly confines of TPD Field House. The NASTY is supported by a large supply of TPD expertise. The years have scarred him, but he learned, and in learning has become a truly devastating force, able to see through the media haze and grab what is truly his. It has led to two straight championships and another fantastic start to this season. Scary to know he isn't done yet. All is revealed, for what is dead may never die, but rises again harder and stronger.
Player Profile: Christian McCaffrey
Now is the time for this spark plug to explode. McCaffrey has been great for TPD but he has yet to have a blow up performance. TPD needs it this week with a few other players on bye or in tough match-ups. McCaffrey will leave no doubt on Sunday with regards to his explosive abilities. His performance will be so NASTY, the catalyst for a TPD demolition. Do it all McCaffrey, show your NASTY side!
