TPD needs to respond after a heartbreaking loss a week ago by one point. He made the wrong flex decision, which cost him the game. Adams being out also hurt, as Sanders scored zero points as his replacement. Sanders has since been traded. No one scores zero in TPD's lineup and lives to tell the tale, even if Sanders was a beloved free agent acquisition. TPD can take pride in the fact that this is the first game this year in which he himself has limited his ability to win. This rare event is not likely to happen much more moving forward.
TPD again made trades this week, trying to fill out the roster to his liking before the trade deadline and readying his team for the long haul. Mike Williams comes over to TPD after a bad month of play. TPD hopes Williams can recapture the magic he displayed earlier in the season. Allen has continued his MVP pace, and this week is TPD player profile. Adams has yet to be cleared from covid, and Rodgers is out. It would be hard to bench Adams if cleared, as he is playing a bad defense, but TPD has done stranger things, and has had success doing so. Kupp's amazing season has continued. He is approaching legendary TPD status. If he continues this momentum, he will go down as a TPD guy in history, being a player forever linked to this franchise. Cook is looking to get back to being an elite player, something TPD expects to happen this week. His seven point performance a week ago was a huge let down, and it cost the team a chance at victory. Taylor has been lighting it up, and now he plays a bad team on Thursday at home. He needs to get the week off right for TPD. Pitts is off a bad game, but is destined to play better. Tyler Bass now becomes TPD's kicker for the rest of the season. It was a risky move picking up the kicker on the team in which TPD's QB plays for, but TPD feels this move is a power play, and they will both continue their amazing play this season.
Always an amazing play is the NASTY. It will bite back this week and return to victory row. It's fuel down the stretch will lead TPD to starry filed skies.
Player Profile: Josh Allen
TPD knew he got a steal in the 5th round, but Allen's play has fully solidified it. Allen's play reminds those of TPD's 2013 and 2014 teams, in which he got league MVPs Peyton Manning and Aaron Rodgers in the 3rd round both years. Those two teams were two of the greatest ever, and with Allen leading this 2021 squad, they could go down in history right next to them. The difference being that Allen will help TPD win a ship, something those two QBs couldn't do during those season. Win MVP Allen, and secure another Championship for TPD in the process. King status NASTY.
