TPD is playoff bound once more. He clinched the East Division title last week, scoring the most points in the league in a huge victory. It has been a special season, and now TPD prepares yet again for a dominate stretch run. TPD is always appreciative of playing football late into the season in the MFFL. Nothing is given, all is earned, and anytime TPD gets to continue playing football this late in the year is always a privilege. December football is very personal and special to TPD.
The roster this week has already begun an overhaul geared towards playoff success. The bench is riddled with RBs, as TPD must find serviceable replacements for Mack and Johnson. Singletary continues to produce and lived up to being last week's player profile. Cohen has been catching passes in bunches and looks to be a potential long term solution in the flex. Both players go on Thanksgiving this week, which is always fun to watch. Watson and Hopkins rebounded last week and continue to lead the team at the top. Fournette finally had his long overdue blow up performance and TPD expects more to come down the line. Adams scored for the first time all year and will look to rack up TDs in bunches for TPD the rest of the way. Waller may have to step up for Oakland after the injury to Renfrow. Perhaps TPD's biggest FA move of the last week is the addition of Harrison Butker at K. He was dropped by a fellow competitor after an error forced their hand. TPD scooped up the top scoring kicker in the league immediately. Butt Kicker will be a difference maker down the stretch like so many kickers before him. It was a power move on TPD's part.
Always powerful is the NASTY from Dynasty. It's momentum this season is unyielding. It awaits patiently for its future playoff combatant. It will feast on Thanksgiving and gain the necessary carb loading for a dominate finish to the season. TPD is on the heels of history and looking for more. The NASTY always hunts.
Player Profile: Tarik Cohen
Cohen was a sneaky FA addition a few weeks ago, and now it is time to see what he can do in the starting lineup. His speed and athleticism will be too much for the Lions on the Ford Field turf. His Thanksgiving day performance will be nothing short of NASTY and fulfilling. He'll mash the Lions D like Potatoes and stuff the stat sheet with like engulfing gravy. Show your NASTY appetite Tarik, TPD calls to you.
