TPD survived last week in a nail bitter to secure his fourth win in five tries this season. He currently sits alone atop the East division, a position he will work tirelessly not to relinquish. The (4-1) start ties the franchise record for best start to a season. A victory in week 6 would set a new record. To accomplish such a feat will once again take some managerial magic from this majestic roster maneuverer.
This week's roster challenges are real. Adams and Johnson look like they will not play due to injury. Waller and Montgomery are on bye. Six new players who did not start last week could be entering the starting lineup for this match-up. It's a lineup that is not TPD at his best, but how TPD typically responds under these circumstances is what separates him from the pack. Edmonds and Brown could be plug and play RB1s due to the injuries ahead of them. Cooks, who was recently traded for, will immediately get a chance to prove his worth on this team. He helped TPD secure his third straight ship last season after TPD traded for him in 2018 as well. Watson is coming off a huge performance, but will likely find similar success against a poor playing and banged up KC defense. Nuk failed to blow up last week like the player profile predicted, but if 15 points is a down game then TPD will take it. Fournette finally found the endzone last week and will look to come his strong play once again this week. Graham has one chance to have a contributing performance this year before being sent back to the waiver wire. Baltimore and Gould replace the previous replacements at K and DEF. TPD has to start getting production out of those two units.
These are the weeks where TPD pulls away. His gameday managing is simply a cut above the rest and he will prove it again on Sunday. Always a cut above is the NASTY from dynasty. It has been extra tender and juicy this year, the center cut filet dishing out orders of pain. Resting comfortably in the friendly confines of TPD Field House will allow it to absorb even more potent packed flavor and explosion. It will make the meat fall off the bone of the opponent, and TPD will savor each exquisite drop.
Player Profile: Baltimore Defense
TPD has perhaps over thought some defensive choices so far this season. Having the chance to acquire this defense at home against the depleted Bengals will hopefully solve that. Baltimore will feast in this match-up. Just two weeks ago TPD started Pittsburgh against this same offense and the results were spectacular. Could Baltimore do even better? Ya, they could be even NASTYer. Crab cakes anyone...NASTY
