Some things never change. TPD is the only team in the entire league who has scored at least 130 points in every game this season, yet he has a .500 record. TPD's well documented historically poor circumstance simply will not go away even after four years of grinding it out with teams better than their final record indicated. If this is the way it has to be then so be it, TPD will break through the compressing chains and come out clean on the other side. Nothing is more illustrating of that prophecy than his moves this week in preparation for week 5. How could someone yet to score below 130 overhaul his entire roster...because scoring 130 isn't the standard at TPD and it is not enough against such reckless hate.

TPD detests losing regardless of circumstance, and his history has shown that heads roll after such occurrences even if others believe it not warranted. He has no other choice but to evolve and fight against the crashing waves. It's been a signature trait of the franchise since its inception and has led to success that perhaps would not have been were it not for such undertakings. The mega changes of this week take the form of the additions of McCaffrey, Cook, and Gronk. Three early draft picks of 2018, TPD now has five players selected in the top 22 of this year's draft. It is a terrifying picture, but one that only works if players perform to their potential.

TPD welcomes back a key contributor from last season's championship run, Christian McCaffrey. McCaffrey is explosive and exciting. It is a spark TPD needs at the top of the RB core after watching, albeit consistent, but plain RB performances. Cook may sit this week but once back healthy he could start performing at the level expected of him at the start of this season. It is a rare opportunity to have the chance at acquiring Rob Gronkowski, and TPD did not let that chance pass. Gronk is a power move. For years it ha sbeen documented that teams just simply win when Gronk is a part of their starting lineup. He is a difference maker and yet another stud name added to an already stellar cast of beasts. The rest of the Lineup remains much of the same. Rivers, Beckham, and Thomas will all look to continue their great starts, while James Conner looks to leave his mark before he returns to back-up duties. The bench for TPD is completely changed after trading away multiple big named players, but you know TPD will maneuver his chess pieces aggressively to find players to fill voids. The starting lineup is riddled with firepower, couple that with TPD's ability to make the most of the free agent pickups and gameday managing, and this team has the ability to be great and perhaps overcome the poor circumstance which has plagued them. Week 5 almost feels like a fresh beginning for a team already producing at a high level to start this season. That is a scary thought; the foreshadowing of the carnage to come at the hands of this team.

Something never short on carnage is the NASTY. The NASTY has flexed all season long win or lose. But now, with such dynamite at its disposal, there is no telling what type of awe inspiring carnage we are about to see each and every Sunday. The NASTY is breaking through its chains with explosive energy and once in motion, its momentum will spill over all who attempt to stop it. Get out of the way of this stud fueled NASTY.

Player Profile: Michael Thomas
Thomas is well overdue for the player profile. He is breaking WR records to start this season. Everyone knew he was a great player, but few thought he could reach beyond what he had already achieved. They were wrong. TPD knew Thomas' potential and he never wavered in his support of his belief that Thomas was among the elite and so far it is paying off. Thomas is a made man in the TPD franchise and now everyone understands what that type of acknowledgement means when it is designated down from TPD. Do your NASTY Thomas, and continue the path towards a special season.
