QB: Tom Brady
WR: A.J. Green
WR: DeAndre Hopkins
RB: Christian McCaffrey
RB: Kenyan Drake
TE: Travis Kelce

DEF: Los Angeles (C)

It comes to this. Week 13 is a must win game for this franchise. A win keeps the season alive while a loss seals a non-playoff fate. It is unbelievable TPD is in this situation, again. The poor circumstance that plagues this franchise continues to find new ways to hold the team down, but none of that matters this week. Everything is on the line in a revenge game TPD has been waiting for.

Avenging one of the unluckiest losses in franchise history would be the cherry on top of keeping the playoff dreams alive. All the numbers illustrate TPD is far better than his record shows and this week is the time to prove it. The team is ready to explode after watching seemingly every other team have blow up weeks this season. The team is extremely confident that the blow up week is coming, the only question is when.

The starting lineup will feature many usual suspects, but some new comers will attempt to turn the tide. Kenyan Drake may start at RB as he is a feature back this week. Burkhead continues to produce and could be promoted to the starting lineup if McCaffrey's injury causes him to miss this week. Chargers D was picked up in preparation for a good matchup at home. Brady continues to perform at an elite level, while Kelce is destined to bounce back after a down week. The WRs are, and have always been, the key. They are all performing well this season, but have yet to put this team on their backs. TPD looks to them to shift the winds. Their consistent play has not been enough to date, it is time to turn it up a notch.

The NASTY is like a bull ready to burst through the gate. No words will be able to describe the carnage left on the field after this game. The NASTY from Dynasty will be unleashed.

TPD also looks to his franchise battle cry for this all or nothing game. "What is dead may never die, but rises again harder and stronger." The theme of last season rings loud and true in moments such as these. Wake up the echoes, band together, TPD calls upon nostalgic souls of old. Winds in the east, mist coming in, like something is brewing, about to begin.

Player Profile: Los Angeles Chargers Defense
TPD has been in these spots before. Huge lopsided matchups on paper with a player promising to deliver big points, only to have that player faceplat. Not this week. Not this time. The Chargers D will suffocate their out matched opponent en-route to a massive performance. Now is the time for TPD to feast on the good fortune so many others have forbiddingly tasted. In this moment, the eastern winds will change the tide, and carry TPD to heights once reached. The flight of the NASTY has begun.

Week 12 Press Release

The Perpetual Dynasty vs Imposing Monstrosity

Date: November 26, 2017
Time: 1:00PM
Place: Tape Measure Field

Starting Lineup:
QB: Tom Brady
WR: A.J. Green
WR: DeAndre Hopkins
RB: Christian McCaffrey
RB: Danny Woodhead
TE: Travis Kelce
FLEX: Michael Thomas
K: Wil Lutz
DEF: Pittsburgh

Grinding Grinding Grinding. Here we go again. TPD played well last week but still lost. They are once again in desperate need of wins to make the playoffs. TPD's teams have deserved better each of the last 3 regular seasons but still this team will be ready for war with anyone who opposes.

The starting lineup hasn't change much as of late, with many guys performing well. The RB core has been solidified with multiple receiving capable options. The #2 RB this week will be a game time decision between Woodhead, Burkhead, and McKissic. The rest of the lineup will feature the usual suspects. TPD is very happy with his depth at the moment, with multiple players ready to step up in any disaster situation, like Rodgers and Olsen. It is a piece to the puzzle late in the season he has rarely had. TPD is tired of grinding, but he knows whats coming. Teams ahead of him in the standings may know it too, and if they don't, they will soon. TPD may have unfathomable circumstances to over come, but the adversity has made this team even stronger. TPD's free agent pick ups, gameday managing, and understanding of trends and themes has never been stronger. That development was stated to be the reason TPD would have success by the end of last season, and he did, winning a championship. That same reason will hold true this season, as TPD knows how to win games late in the year.

The NASTY needs no such unveilings. Anyone who has tamed the beast this season may have shown their best stuff too early. The NASTY will peak at the most opportune moment. The family room will shake with fear on Thanksgiving after Stros asks for more yams and cranberry sauce, only to be handed a giant, steaming, bowl of NASTY dressing. OH MY GOD NOOOOOO!

Player Profile: Christian McCaffrey
CMC comes off bye this week and will be reinserted into the starting lineup. His strong play as of late has reshaped the look of this RB core. The electricity has sparked a change in this team's performance and confidence. He will solidify his place as a player no one wants to see after a huge game this week. Run CMC. NASTY.

Week 11 Press Release

The Perpetual Dynasty vs The Glorious Morgans

Date: November 19, 2017
Time: 1:00PM
Place: TPD Field House

Starting Lineup:
QB: Tom Brady
WR: A.J. Green
WR: DeAndre Hopkins
RB: Kenyan Drake
RB: Rex Burkhead
TE: Travis Kelce
FLEX: Michael Thomas
K: Wil Lutz
DEF: Pittsburgh

After two straight victories TPD is gaining momentum in preparation for the home stretch of the MFFL season. Four weeks remain in the regular season and this week presents a huge challenge. The squad is rounding into form, and they are performing the way TPD hoped after solidifying the roster right before the trade deadline.

This week is huge for multiple reasons as TPD is attempting to stop his opponent from breaking his longest winning streak record and keep pace in the race for the playoffs. The league is loaded at the top with five teams having 3 losses or less. The season continues to be a grind even with TPD playing well most of the year.

The roster is getting closer to its full potential with guys like Woodhead and Olsen possibly returning to action very soon. Rex Burkhead has been a frequent flyer to TPD's team, but has struggled to maintain on the roster week to week. He finally gets a chance to start for TPD and both parties are extremely excited for the well deserved opportunity.  Brady will be reinserted into the starting lineup after the bye week looks to have rejuvenated him. Kelce's return is much needed after his backup scored a single point a week ago. The WRs continue to play well but excitingly, still have room to improve. Pittsburgh D has been one of the better late season draft choices for TPD in a long while. He cannot remember the last time he stuck with one defense for this long.

TPD is eagerly awaiting the full growth and potential of this roster. He hopes it will peak at the most opportune time. A win this week would be huge for the team's confidence, positioning, and perception. Never being in short supply of any of those things is the NASTY. It stands in TPD's corner as the propelling force behind TPD domination. The shape shifting blob of terribleness transforms into whatever form necessary for TPD victories. A huge stage in one of the biggest games of the year is the exact moment when the NASTY consumes all. This NASTY showing could redistribute the balance of power for the rest of the season. That's some NASTY man.

Player Profile: Rex Burkhead
Oh how sweet it is. TPD has never given up on Rex, picking him up seemingly ever other week in anticipation for moments such as this. Now that injuries are behind him, Burkhead is fulfilling his destiny on TPD's roster. The time is now when all takes shape with Rex a vital piece to the puzzle. The combination of him and Brady on Sunday will put the league on notice, in a fashion best described as NASTY. Let's do it Rex.

Week 10 Press Release

The Perpetual Dynasty vs ShowMeYourTDs

Date: November 12, 2017
Time: 1:00PM
Place: TPD Field House

Starting Lineup:
QB: Marcus Mariota
WR: A.J. Green
WR: DeAndre Hopkins
RB: Christian McCaffrey
RB: Kenyan Drake
TE: Tyler Kroft
FLEX: Michael Thomas
K: Wil Lutz
DEF: Pittsburgh

TPD turned back the clocks to last season and won a pivotal week 9 game. He fought for every point he could get after Green's ejection, but the boys came through in flying colors with everyone scoring in double digits outside of the kicker position. Just like last season TPD has to keep on winning in the ever competitive MFFL. He's had more bad circumstances this season with many players on the opposition week to week having their strongest performances against TPD. He has struggled with these horrible circumstances for years but battled through them last season and aims to try again now.

Week 10 is a most win game against a struggling team with bye week issues. He is satisfied with how the RB position has responded after poor performances all season. It is still not a hugely intimidating group but the production can be found, especially if Woodhead returns in a few weeks to a catching and redzone role. Brady is off of bye but will sit due to him playing at Denver without Hogan. Kelce is on bye and Kroft is blessed with the unbelievable opportunity of lacing them up for the TPD franchise. You know he will be pumped to prove his worth in what is no doubt the biggest game of his career. The RBs will be some combination of McCaffrey, Drake, or Rawls. All of whom have opportunities for a decent floor performance. The WRs remain the same. Pittsburgh is back after bye and they are ready to continue their strong defending. The team has played well but are still waiting for a blow up week. It may not happen here due to byes and poor match-ups but TPD feels like this team could have the makings of a unit that peaks at the right time. Peaking at optimal times is always a key.

Always peaking optimally is the NASTY. It returns home to the Field House with goals in mind. TPD knows what is at stake and knows what needs to be done. The NASTY will do whatever it takes to gain success, no matter the cost. Even if it means completely renovating the field after this weekend, due to a NASTY destruction of TPD's opponent. Grass can be regrown, but it will be hard to mend the damage done to the opponent's psyche.

Player Profile: Marcus Mariota
Marcus is on TPD's squad after a being signed through free agency this week. He goes up against the very team that drafted and cut him this season. Marcus was not a good fight on his old team and his play suffered because of it. But now that he is on TPD and his focus and excitement are maxing out. The best game of the season awaits him in week 10, a showing of NASTY magnitude.

Week 9 Press Release

The Perpetual Dynasty vs Tavon and Only

Date: November 5, 2017
Time: 1:00PM
Place: TO Stadium

Starting Lineup:
QB: Brett Hundley
WR: A.J. Green
WR: DeAndre Hopkins
RB: Ameer Abdullah
RB: Christian McCaffrey
TE: Travis Kelce
FLEX: Michael Thomas
K: Wil Lutz
DEF: Philadelphia

TPD cannot catch a break. The horrible circumstances that have plagued this franchise during this league's history are truly remarkable. Last week they tied, but it should have been a win if not for his opponent's kicker scoring 13 points in the 4th quarter of MNF. There are a few other managers in the MFFL with bad luck, but no one has the same ridiculous circumstances attached to it like TPD. He is in dire need of a win and week 9 brings about some flash backs to last season.

Similarly to this season, week 9 last year was a big week for this franchise. They were playing Tavon on the road after suffering another defeat at the hands of bad circumstance. That week 9 match-up had Julio and Evans going on Thursday night. It was the turning point of the season as both studs balled out and TPD crushed his opposition. The same scenario repeats, as TPD faces Tavon in week 9 needing a win to salvage the season. Can history repeat itself?

Crazier still is the fact that TPD has the 3rd most points in the league,  just like last year at this time. How is it that he is continually put in bad situations even while producing every season? It is a troubling thought, but an inspiring thought is remembering how well TPD played after this pivotal week last season en-route to a title. TPD aims to do it again, and he remains the most scarred ready team for moments like these, though he wishes one day he will not have to grind it out every season.

It is a homecoming parade in this week's starting lineup. TPD traded for many players that had left the organization earlier in the season. He is extremely excited to have all of them back. Brady is on bye but TPD has a weird confidence in Hundley this week. He expects Brett to shatter the public's low expectations. This week concludes the trading season of 2017, and he feels happy with how the lineup has shaken out after some devastating injuries early on. He knows what a winning team looks like and he feels he stacks up with most any team moving forward, though nothing is for certain. He has played better this season than his record indicates, again, but hopefully this week can be the start of something special just like a year ago.

Always special is the NASTY. There comes a time each season, typically in the 2nd half, in which the NASTY goes completely bonkers, leading to historical moments no other team can match in this league. The NASTY continues to brew towards such an occasion. When it unleashes, the whole league will feel it. "OH MY NASTY."

Player Profile: Michael Thomas
Welcome back Sir Thomas. The 11th overall pick of the 2017 MFFL draft, selected by TPD, is remarkably back on TPD's roster for the stretch run. It is a feeling of warmth and happiness shared by both parties of the reunion. Thomas has been consistently good all season, but being back on TPD will lead to greatness no doubt. This is a NASTY homecoming and a NASTY match-up awaits this budding star.
