Another poor performance from TPD has his confidence waning. He has been struggling to score points and is losing ground in the East division. This week's match-up against LFB is big on importance and pride.
TPD made more moves this week, as always, and certain aspects of the maneuvering have increased his confidence in a few areas of the team. The addition of Alshon Jeffery as TPD's WR5 solidifies the position group and allows TPD to be more flexible and play the match-ups. This week presents one such opportunity as Cooper and Hopkins will be benched in favor of TPD's other WRs with better match-ups. Even with the loss of Beckham it is still the best WR core in the league. TPD is tied to Brady and Kelce, two superstars who have not performed at elite levels this season. Still, it is hard to imagine two other players at those respective positions he would rather have, so he will align his fate with their own and hope for the best. Philly will likely start two straight weeks as Pittsburgh has a tough match-up and then goes on bye.
TPD is no stranger to grinding it out during the long haul of a season, it is what he has done each of the last 3 seasons. He will take the experience and turn it into success. No one is more experienced, scarred, or prepared for the 2nd half of MFFL seasons then TPD. He has to make decisions with confidence in order to gain success, which he has done perpetually in the 2nd half of seasons. The catalyst for compounding success is of course the NASTY. It has been MIA as of late but it is best to not disturb a sleeping giant. The NASTY alarm clock is due to go off on Sunday morning, and the NASTY hates waking up to alarms. It will use that anger to power ahead and lead the way for TPD the rest of the season. Rise and shine its NASTY time.
Player Profile: Alshon Jeffery
Jeffery is no stranger to TPD. He has been drafted or traded for multiple times by this franchise. Things have not always gone smooth between the two but that will end come Sunday. Jeffery will be the spark to reignite the engine for TPD. A microcausem of TPD's season, Jeffery will break through with a blow up performance and leave the field scattered with NASTY droppings. Don't step on the NASTY!
