TPD responded after a loss and acquired a huge win in week 4. The East is tight at the top meaning last week was a much needed win even though it was a non divisional game. TPD is now (3-1) to start this season, and a win this week would be a new franchise record for best start to a season. Last week also marked TPD's 50 all time regular season win, which is a huge accomplishment. On tap for week 5 is Brock, who is coming off a key victory in week 4.
Although TPD is happy with last week's victory, he is disappointed once again in his gameday managing. It is now two weeks in a row where he feels he has not performed to his potential as a gameday manager. He feels much of the circumstance can be accredited to the fact that he has multiple options week to week in certain positions, which is a good problem to have. Also, his RB core has been unpredictable so it has been difficult nailing down that position. It will not get easier this week as there are decisions to be made at RB and Flex.
Tom Brady is set for another Thursday game and the first one this season did not go well at all. This week however he is going against an injury riddled defense and the patriots will be hungry after an embarrassing loss at home a week ago. He has a chance for a big week but nothing is certain on Thursday night. TPD has to deal with an injuries to Beckham and QB issues with Cooper and Hilton. His WR core is not at full potential at this point in the season, but it should get there in the coming weeks. Such circumstances may open the door for Chris Hogan to play on Thursday. Hogan has been an integral free agent pickup for this franchise and many other teams around the league would pencil him into their lineups without hesitation, but being that he is on TPD's roster he has to contend with depth at WR. The RB room got an energy boost this week as he traded for C. McCaffrey. He has yet to fully explode this season but he has done well considering he has yet to score a touchdown. His numbers could spike if he reaches the endzone this week. Other RBs in play to start are Abdullah and recently added Collins. Both may have taken control last week and become the lead dogs for their respective teams. Kelce did Kelce things last week, after being TPD's player profile, but this week he goes up against a team he torched a year ago, who we think will sell out to stop this beast. Insert another new kicker. Pitt D continues to be one of the best end of the draft picks of 2017.
All and all TPD is happy with this start. It is scary to think this team should get better once guys get healthy and TPD gets back to his managerial ways. It could be all systems go at that point. Always clogging the systems of TPD's opponents is the NASTY. It swallowed massive gulps last week and now hits the road for another opportunity to eat. It crawls along the back runs in pursuit of another feast, hunting for TPD. The NASTY will be starved when it reaches town, ready to devour. Let the NASTY unleashing begin!
Player Profile: Pittsburgh D
There were many player options for this profile this week but Pittsburgh deserves their due. They were selected int he draft for their week 1 match-up but they have found a way to stay rostered and starting all season long. It's been a great ride considering TPD is a typical Defense streamer. They get the Jags at home this week and it is a prime blowup spot for a group already performing well this season. Their performance will be categorized as NAST-D....so NASTY.
