Week 4 Press Release

The Perpetual Dynasty vs The Real McCoy

Date: October 2, 2022
Time: 1:00pm
Place: TPD Field House

Starting Lineup:
QB: Kyler Murray
WR: Ja'Marr Chase
WR: CeeDee Lamb
RB: Jonathan Taylor
RB: Khalil Herbert
TE: Kyle Pitts
FLEX: Courtland Sutton
K: Harrison Butker
DEF: Pittsburgh

TPD is (0-3). His bad luck, which has followed him his whole career, continues to torment him every week. The team played fine a week ago, well enough to earn a victory if playing many other teams, but once again he ran into a juggernaut. What else is there to say.

The lineup will remain largely the same. The bench balled out a week ago, and TPD is happy with how the squad has taken shape. Big games are coming for everyone on this roster. TPD hopes the day arrives soon.

It is now or never. TPD's season hangs but by a thread. It is in these moments where TPD turns the tied in the most unlikely of ways, on Thursday Night. For years TPD has always turned to Thursday to turn the season around. It all started in 2016, when Julio and Evans beasted on Thursday, kick starting TPD's season, which ended in the team's first championship. Thursday's have long been horrible to him, but when he needs it most, he flips the script and burst onto the scene. The time has come again.

Player Profile: Ja'Marr Chase
Playing on Thursday Night will be TPD's first round pick from this year's draft. Chase has been solid, but has yet to have his signature explosion game like we saw often last season. It will happen tonight on Thursday Night. Chase will be the spark that leads TPD to the promise land. It all begins now.

Week 3 Press Release

 The Perpetual Dynasty vs ShowMeYourTDs

Date: September 25, 2022
Time: 1:00pm
Place: Tight Grip Palace

Starting Lineup:
QB: Kyler Murray
WR: Ja'Marr Chase
WR: CeeDee Lamb
RB: Jonathan Taylor
RB: Darrell Henderson
TE: Kyle Pitts
FLEX: Courtland Sutton
K: Brandon McManus
DEF: Chicago

Guess who's back back back, back again gin gin, JT's back back back, tell a friend. TPD has started the season (0-2) due to no fault of his own. He has simply been run over by steam rollers in the first two weeks. Still, an (0-2) start is never tolerated at this franchise, and in a move eerily similar to last year's acquiring of Davante Adams, TPD has once again made magic on the trading front, bringing in this seasons #1 overall draft choice Jonathan Taylor.

Taylor was an unstoppable rebel force for TPD all season long a year ago. Never in his wildest dreams did he feel he'd have a chance to acquire him this year, especially this early. But we shouldn't really be surprised. These types of moves each and every season are what define TPD. It is why no one every doubts this franchise. No one can pull off moves like this, other than he. He alone has the roster talent and energy to make such a splash. The league is on notice. You should have taken your bites out of TPD while he was down, for now that all stops, and he comes for you.

The rest of the lineup remains much the same. Murray is still waiting for his blow up, but that right soon. Chase will rebound against a terrible secondary on Sunday. Lamb proved last week that he can succeed without Dak for a few games. Sutton was inches away from a TD, and TPD feels this week will finally be his time. Pitts is about to explode being that every person and their mother is yelling at Smith to get him the ball. TPD has put up two straight 129 point efforts. It's impressive considering his team has yet to really score touchdowns. Once the painted scores start happening there will be no stopping him.

Never stopped is the NASTY. It has roared for two straight weeks, but failed to capture its meal. That all changes come Sunday. It's his time to shine. The NASTY from Dynasty is the momentum carrying this franchise to heights previously reached. Everything will change, everything has changed. For what is dead may never die, but rises again harder and stronger.

Player Profile: Jonathan Taylor
OMG! What can be said. TPD just acquired the best RB in football. Taylor is young and powerful and knows how to perform on this team. Look for him to explode out of a cannon on Sunday, with the excitement of being back where he belongs, dawning TPD colors. It's a special day, one that will carry TPD out of this early hole. Just do you JT, that is all that is required. One NASTY homecoming.

Week 2 Press Release

The Perpetual Dynasty vs Smoked Brissett

Date: September 18, 2022
Time: 1:00pm
Place: TPD Field House

Starting Lineup:
QB: Kyler Murray
WR: Ja'Marr Chase
WR: CeeDee Lamb
RB: Nick Chubb
RB: Darrell Henderson
TE: Kyle Pitts
FLEX: Courtland Sutton
K: Brandon McManus
DEF: Indianapolis

TPD faced a buzzsaw last week. Loco came to play, and for the 2nd straight year TPD is starting off the season with a loss. It's frustrating, but not impactful. Just last season TDs set a week 1 points record against TPD. He's been in this spot before, and he will climb out of this minor hole once again.

Even with all that being said, TPD does not take losses well. He once again made big moves following a loss, this time acquiring an offseason target of his, Courtland Sutton. TPD's WRs are now extremely loaded and flexible. Chase, Lamb, Sutton, Moore, and Bateman are all tremendous players. Look for TPD to rely on them all year, or move some of them in pursuit of other elite talent. His RB depth has also taken shape, as Darrell Henderson and CEH both put on shows in week 1. Not to mention the bench played great. TPD has a lot of flexibility with his roster already, which has to be terrifying to every other team in the league.

The rest of the lineup played well last week, but TPD will be looking for some more elite performances moving forward. Murray just has to survive until Nuk is back. TPD is confident he will. Chase was as advertised a week ago. He is bound to be the next great TPD WR, following in the footsteps of giants before him. Lamb is being doubted after the Dak injury, but don't forget he had over 100 yards the last time Rush started a game. Chubb is an absolute beast. Each day that passes TPD gets happier with that 3rd round draft selection. Pitts will bounce back like we saw him frequently do in his inconsistent first season. Sutton is about to go off wearing the TPD colors for the first time. The lineup is young and terrifying, ready to eat come Sunday.

Always terrifying is the NASTY. It roared plenty good enough last week. Scoring 129 will win you a lot of games in this league. Coming home for the 1st time in 2022 will be just what the doctor ordered. Ya'll know the score, and what's coming. It comes for you. Everything will change, everything has changed.

Player Profile: Darrell Henderson
TPD watched in joy and amazement as Henderson barely came off the field a week ago. His surprising ascension to the #1 RB spot for the Rams sent shock waves through the league. TPD had a hunch, which is why he traded for Henderson days earlier, and his hunch was correct. It's yet another power move from the league's top manager. Henderson is ready to slay the Falcons, both on the ground and through the air. Look for him to put down one of the best RB performances of the week, setting up one hell of a season, defined by the tremendous value at which TPD acquired him. It's time play.

Week 1 Press Release 2022

The Perpetual Dynasty vs El Pollo Loco

Date: September 11, 2022
Time: 1:00pm
Place: Burritoville

Starting Lineup:
QB: Kyler Murray
WR: Ja'Marr Chase
WR: CeeDee Lamb
RB: Nick Chubb
RB: Clyde Edwards-Helaire
TE: Kyle Pitts
FLEX: DJ Moore
K: Dustin Hopkins
DEF: Miami

"How did it come to this? An army of rebel peasants. Everything will change, everything has changed." TPD once again watched in horror as the greatest team ever assembled failed to reach their ultimate goal. Such a groundbreaking defeat has left the world shattered and changed. New foes are at the gates, ready to take what they believe is rightfully theirs. TPD stands alone in the face of an onslaught, for all men boast when believing a king to be weak.

TPD's 2021 season was one of legend. He orchestrated the greatest draft ever achieved. Dalvin, Jonathan, Cooper, Josh, Kyle. He then made a signature splash trade for Davante early in the season. He won 12 games, secured the #1 seed, set the all time points record, once again scored over 200 in a game, and delivered a 7 game win streak. How he continues to break records after so many never before seen feats, is truly remarkable. But all was forgotten, for he could not put his best foot forward when it mattered most. He struggled with lineup decisions all championship week, and ended up selecting the wrong ones. It is haunting. And now the enemy is at the gate, wondering if the time is right to attack. What a foolish and futile attack it would be.

TPD is going nowhere. He will endure, as he always has. He will change with the every evolving landscape around him, and coming out of the 2022 draft, he is as confident as ever that the MFFL trophy will grace the halls of his headquarters once more, and that right soon. The lineup is loaded for bear, even before week 1. He made three draft night trades! His WRs are as potent as ever, and his RBs are stronger out of the draft than usual, just like last season. His craft has been perfected. Others will watch in amazement as he once again steals the show with late round value and devastating managerial moves.

The NASTY has been with TPD for years. It is the vehicle carrying TPD's malice and will to dominate. It comes for all, engulfing anyone standing in its way. The nasty will have its way, it will take what is rightfully TPD's and lay waste to opponents valleys. It comes for you! For what is dead may never die, but rises again harder and stronger. You down with TPD? Ya you know me. If you got beef then bring the ruckus, TPD aint no one to mess with. For it is memory, precious and pure. Everything will change, everything has changed. TPD 2022 style baby!

Player Profile: Kyler Murray
TPD has done it again. He has drafted the eventual league MVP in a round far behind the quality of their play. The hate surrounding Kyler this offseason is about to be reversed, and unleashed on all of his opponents. A truly rare blend of arm strength and running ability, it is simply just a matter of time before he puts it all together to become the top QB in fantasy. That season is now. Once he dawns the TPD colors, the game will change forever, and he and TPD will stand above it all, conquering titans. Unleash the inner beast Kyler, the time has come.
