Week 4 Press Release

The Peaking Dynasty vs The Real McCoy

Jahmyr Gibbs - Detroit Lions Running Back - ESPN

Date: September 29, 2024
Time: 1:00pm
Place: TPD Field House

Starting Lineup:
QB: Anthony Richardson
WR: Justin Jefferson
WR: Marvin Harrison Jr
RB: Jahmyr Gibbs
RB: James Cook
TE: Cole Kmet
FLEX: Travis Etienne
K: Justin Tucker
DEF: Chicago

Very few players showed up for TPD last week. It was a disappointing effort, but one that led to some changes. TPD typically makes big moves after depressing losses, and last week was no different. Gibbs, Etienne, and Richardson, all arrive to TPD ready to explode.

The team is injured, impacting many starters. But the bench looks ready to step up and fill the void. Richardson or Fields will likely start at QB because Hurts may be missing both Smith and Brown. TPD is confident his buy-low of Richardson could pay off, even this week in a tough match-up. His ability to put up points on the ground should help him steady the ship until his passing improves. JJ will do his thing, while Harrison will continue his ascent towards the top of the WR rankings. What he has accomplished as  a rookie in the early going is remarkable. Bringing in Gibbs and Etienne completely overhauls the RB core. This unit is young and explosive, and all of whom could have career years. Cook has been a revelation in the early going. With Laporta being hurt, Kmet will get a spot start after showing strong chemistry with Williams the last two weeks.

The NASTY will head home with an empty stomach. A situation it cannot stand. The home crowd will rev the team up after a bad performance. Look for TPD to unleash the NASTY from Dynasty on Sunday.

Player Profile: Jahmyr Gibbs
TPD believed in Gibbs a year ago, even after his slow start. That belief paid off as Gibbs became one of his best players, and a 1st round draft pick in this year's draft. Being back on TPD must feel amazing for Gibbs. He is already off to a good start, but his explosion is right soon, now that he dawns TPD colors again. Show your NASTY side Gibbs, you are home.

Week 3 Press Release

The Peaking Dynasty vs Njokus On You

Detroit Lions may need time to roll offensively: 'Sometimes it takes a minute'

Date: September 22, 2024
Time: 1:00pm
Place: NJOY Stadium

Starting Lineup:
QB: Jalen Hurts
WR: Justin Jefferson
WR: Marvin Harrison
RB: Josh Jacobs
RB: James Cook
TE: Sam Laporta
FLEX: George Pickens
K: Justin Tucker
DEF: Tampa Bay

TPD is (2-0) and rolling after last week's performance. Even with a fluke injury in pre-game warmups, he beasted. Everyone stepped up in the face of poor circumstance. Injuries abound in week 3, but TPD will navigate and find a way.

Hurts has been spectacular. He has proven that last season's mild struggles were a problem with coaching. The new OC has unlocked his fantasy potential. Jefferson has been that guy, but he is injured to begin this week. Brown will likely be out again, possibly even until week 6. It is a blow, but TPD has depth at that position. The RBs have been great, just as TPD thought they would be when everyone else was doubting them. Trading for Pollard gives them much needed depth at that position too. He may get a flex spot start if Jefferson is ruled out, bumping Pickens into the #2 spot. Harrison balled out, just as TPD predicted. How foolish all the narrative around him was. He will feast for TPD all year. Laporta comes in as a buy low. He will finally start performing now that he gets to dawn the TPD colors.

The lineup may be less than optimal, but it won't matter. The NASTY heads out for its first road trip, full from devouring opponents over the last two weeks. It will consume the oppositions field and take over. You know of what I speak.

Player Profile: Sam Laporta
The doubt around Laporta makes little sense considering the entire TE position across the league is crumbling. What a perfect guy to target and wait for his eventual explosion. The explosion happens this week. These things happen once players get to this franchise. Laporta will be no different. The TE position has plagued TPD for years, but now that plague will end. One NASTY performance awaits.

Week 2 Press Release

 The Peaking Dynasty vs Unstopa-Bo

Date: September 15, 2024
Time: 1:00pm
Place: TPD Field House

Starting Lineup:
QB: Jalen Hurts
WR: Justin Jefferson
WR: A.J. Brown
RB: Josh Jacobs
RB: James Cook
TE: Evan Engram
FLEX: Marvin Harrison Jr.
K: Justin Tucker
DEF: Dallas

TPD secured the victory in week one. It wasn't a smash performance, but they did enough to win. Entering week 2, TPD is ready to put on a bigger show, setting the tone for the rest of the season.

Once again, to no ones surprise, TPD hit the trade market. They snatched up MHJ while the panic was spreading, and the power move will pay off big for this franchise. For all those doubting Harrison, let me remind you that Justin Jefferson's first NFL game resulted in 2 catches for 26 yards. His 2nd game, 3 catches for 44 yards. That season JJ ended up with 1,400 receiving yards. Harrison will smash. Rookies take time, and week 2 will prove all those doubting him to be wrong. Hurts, Jefferson, and Brown all did their thing. They are the back bone of TPD this year. Jacobs and Cook played well, but people around the league continue to question their talent. That will end after this week, since both are about to explode in week 2. TPD traded away both Andrews and Likely, and Engram steps in, in a bounce back spot. The Cowboys D played incredibly well, proving why TPD prioritized drafting them.

While some may be doubting this roster, TPD knows the truth. The NASTY is alive and well. Once again, at the friendly confines of TPD Field House, the outcome is assured. It will devour all, propelling TPD to one fast start. A position TPD has rarely inhabited within the MFFL. Good luck to all if TPD isn't operating at a deficit like so many times before.

Player Profile: Marvin Harrison Jr.
The amount of hate coming MHJ's way after one bad performance, in his first ever game, is truly unprecedented. He is the best WR prospect since megatron, and like megatron, TPD will create an ever lasting bond with MHJ. The former OSU star is too elite to fail. His performance this week will silence all the doubters. He will propel TPD to victory, and show everyone the full might of his power over the course of 60 minutes. The time has come. MHJ shines in week 2.

Week 1 Press Release 2024

"Shadow and Flame"

The Peaking Dynasty vs ShowMeYourTDs

Date: September 5, 2024
Time: 8:00pm
Place: TPD Field House

Starting Lineup:
QB: Jalen Hurts
WR: Justin Jefferson
WR: A.J. Brown
RB: Josh Jacobs
RB: James Cook
TE: Mark Andrews
FLEX: Tank Dell
K: Justin Tucker
Defense: Dallas

The time has come. MFFL football is back and TPD is going all out once again.

The draft went incredibly well. He was patient, taking his time to make picks, and it paid off. TPD came away with one of the best roster's in the league, with each player fitting in well and without regret. Plus, you know he has been active on the trade market. He has already orchestrated an massive trade to get A.J. Brown. Pairing him with Hurts before week 1 even begins represents two things. First, TPD's strength and power. 2nd, it represents the most dangerous stack in the entire league. Oh and don't forget, Justin Jefferson sits between them in the starting lineup.

TPD is bound and determined to get back to the top. Yes he remains as dominant as ever, but the MFFL title has recently eluded him. It is reminiscent of the early days of the MFFL. We all know what happened once TPD broke through. His time at the top well come again, but for now we focus on the journey.

TPD is running it back with J Jetta. Jefferson was hurt last year after being selected #1 overall by TPD. This year don't call it a comeback. Jefferson remains the best WR in the MFFL. More on Jacobs later. The rest of the lineup will take shape throughout the season, but TPD has depth and fire power. James Cook will be an explosive weapon as long as he can cut down on the fumbles. Andrews, like Jefferson, will remind all of his talent, after being hurt last season.

TPD's history is rich. The NASTY from Dynasty being the compelling engine. None shall stand in it's way. For TPD will rise again. You know of what I speak. "Moria, you fear to go in there. The dwarves delved too greedily and too deep. You know what they awoke in the darkness of Kazad-dum. Shadow and flame."

Player Profile: Josh Jacobs
Jacobs is TPD's ace up his sleeve this season. So many are doubting him after a down year, but so much has changed for him. He goes to a good offense, and will retain his workhorse role. Still young, Jacobs will explode this season. His RB1 performances will leave no doubt as to why TPD took him. After all, he just led the league in rush yards a short two seasons ago. Welcome to a dominant new team Jacobs. Referring to TPD of course. One NASTY season awaits.
