Date: December 25, 2024
Time: 1:00pm
Place: Central Park Field

Starting Lineup:
QB: Jalen Hurts
WR: Justin Jefferson
WR: CeeDee Lamb
RB: Jahmyr Gibbs
RB: Zach Charbonnet
TE: Chin Okonkwo
FLEX A.J. Brown
K: Tyler Bass
DEF: New Orleans

A quest for greatness. The March is on. "You know what they awoke in the darkness of Kazad-dum. Shadow and flame." TPD is marching through battles in dominant fashion. A steely gaze set upon the horizon and magnificent achievement. This team of destiny is leaving behind a legacy to never be forgotten. Three straight weeks scoring over 150 points. Two of the last three scoring over 170. When all was lost, something was awoken in the darkness. A shadow wreathed in flame. For everything that has happened has molded him into this monster. And the time has come for him to conquer all. TPD is back in the title game. The most appearances in history. He dares to reach towards glory filled skies again. He will grab hold of glory and be crowned.

Vigorous moves in free agency set the tone for this week. TPD is laying it all on the line. He has nothing to lose and everything to gain. The swirling nature of the week means few things are certain come Sunday. But injuries will become clearer. The lineup will cement. And come Sunday, TPD's lineup will be ready for war. How fitting for this squad to be PEAKING at the right time.

The NASTY from dynasty loves to peak. A rematch of last year's championship is just what it wanted for a meal. Such a gargantuan wave of momentum could only be spearheaded by one thing. The NASTY. Always with him, always the motor. It is revved up once more. For what is dead may never die, but rises again harder and stronger. It is memory precious and pure. TPD has walked there and seen the world fall away. He has captured the dream and etched his name in golden achievement. Its happens again. He will shine on. You down with this embattled dreamer, carried by rich weight of nostalgia and reverence? Yeah, you know me.

Player Profile: Justin Jefferson
TPD was patient in the draft. When others were doubting JJ due to the QB change TPD remained steady. He and JJ knew what had to happen. They had to run it back. They came close a year ago, but just short. And JJ had struggled to stay healthy all year and wasn't peaking when TPD needed it most. My how the tables have turned, for look who is peaking now. JJ knows what is at stake. He is ready. And so is TPD. JJ wants to be a TPD hall of famer. How many other players have been drafted and then kept all season by TPD, in two consecutive seasons? Probably no one. It is time to be NASTY. Draw swords, draw banners. Sound TPD in the deep once more. He is going to war.

Week 16 Press Release (Playoff Edition)

The Peaking Dynasty vs Njokus On You

Q&A: Detroit Lions Jahmyr Gibbs Believes He Can Play Even Better

Date: December 22, 2024
Time: 1:00pm
Place: NJOY Stadium

Starting Lineup:
QB: Jalen Hurts
WR: Justin Jefferson
WR: CeeDee Lamb
RB: Jahmyr Gibbs
RB: Jerome Ford
TE: TJ Hockenson
FLEX: A.J. Brown
K: Daniel Carlson
DEF: Atlanta

TPD endured. All was lost this season but somehow we are here. For an explanation of how we got here, look at TPD's previous write up. Now, it is time. Playoff time. TPD has done it again. He is in the playoffs for an absurd 10th time in 13 seasons. How can a franchise with such bad luck continue to find success? For one reason, dominance and skill. As has been shared, TPD is a hardened manager. He is experienced in ways few could imagine. And he is back. Back where he belongs, playing for it all in the MFFL playoffs. What a gift. TPD is always grateful for late season MFFL ball. There is nothing better. Call banners, draw swords, TPD marches his way back to a title. The journey near its end, but at its playoff beginning. Blades will be sharpened. Shields broken. And a red sun will rise.

The lineup for the playoffs is largely intact as it has been the last few weeks. When TPD needed it most, the boys stepped up. His WRs have been carrying the water, which is no surprise. Hurts was dominate last week, even though TPD did not start him. It was a blunder that could have cost him. But now that he is here TPD will right the wrong. Gibbs steps into superman mode with Montgomery getting hurt. He will be the one that TPD needs guiding him to the promise land. RB2 is up for grabs. We will see how injuries shake out throughout the week. Even with injuries and back luck, the lineup can compete with anyone. It is testament to TPD's skill as a manager. He never gave up, and now he reaps the benefits.

Can you feel it? The feeling that can only come around when one makes the MFFL playoffs. It is a sense of anticipation and excitement that is indescribable. It is a taste that the NASTY craves. It will once again clean its plate. TPD shined in the underdog role last week, even with everything stacked against him. And here we are again, against the top seed in the league. The NASTY will wreak havoc. For it is memory, precious and pure. It shines on. It is the engine that carries this embattled dreamer. One whose soul is comprised of nostalgia and reverence. He has walked among the stars and seen the world fall away. You could once barely speak of it, for risk of blowing it away. He is cast in stone, etched in gold, and bathed in starlight. For what is dead may never die, but rises again harder and stronger. You down with TPD? Yeah, you know me.

Player Profile: Jahmyr Gibbs
TPD has dreamt of this moment. He had Gibbs circled on every pre-draft scouting report. It took a trade to get him, but he knew what he was after. TPD had Gibbs as a rookie. He knew the raw untapped potential that was waiting to be unleashed. And now the time has come. Gibbs is set to win TPD a title. It was what he was destined to do. He is setting the stage to become an all timer. This is his team and his moment. He will take it, it is his. Pure awesome nastiness. Gibbs peaks into his true form. And what a  NASTY final form it is.

A Comeback for the Ages

"Darkness took me, and I strayed out of thought and time... The stars wheeled overhead, and every day was as long as a life age of the earth... But it was not the end. I felt life in me again. I've been sent back until my task is done."

How did we get here?

The winding road that was TPD's 2024 regular season is almost too ridiculous to believe. But it happened. And now, after such turmoil and anguish, TPD is back where he truly belongs. The playoffs and East division champs. This marks TPD's 10th playoff appearance in 13 seasons of MFFL ball. He is back2back East division champs, marking the 8th time as East champs in 13 seasons. Let us take a look back so we may understand what just happened.

TPD started the season strong winning his first two match-ups. The team was playing well, and it appeared as though he was ready for another dominant season. It was not to last. TPD's brutal poor circumstance rang the door bell yet again, and he proceeded to lose 4 straight games, even though he was 2nd in points scored during that period. During his four game losing streak teams averaged 150 ppg against him. It was all too familiar, and TPD struggled to accept that his title as the league's unluckiest manager was once again his fate. He made moves as always and crafter a dominate team, but they simply struggled to piece it all together. CMC is the brightest example of that, as it took him until week 10 to return, and when he did, he played average, before getting hurt again. But before the all is lost moment, TPD won three straight games in weeks 7-9, scoring at least 147 in all 3 games, and 194 in one of them. He was right back to his old ways. The sky was the limit for this team. But then disaster struck. The team simply stopped performing, and CMC got hurt. TPD lost 3 of 4, scoring below 113 in all four games. TPD, realizing the dark reality of his fate spent $100 on CMC's replacement Mason. Only to watch in horror the very next day when Mason was put on IR. At that moment darkness took him, and he strayed out of thought and time.

The playoffs were still possible, but he did not control his own destiny. He would have to win out, and have others lose along the way. And in week 14 he would face LFB, who picked up the other 49ers RB, ready to take on a workhorse role. Things were bleak, but he relied on his hardened experience. He picked up elite handcuff RBs in case of injury. One of which being Charbonnet, who unexpectedly became the starter after a Walker injury. TPD now had his own back-up RB ready to take a lead role. Hope was restored and the team responded putting up a huge 175 points, Charbonnet getting 40 of them, setting the stage for an epic final week to the regular season.

Unbelievably the East had not been decided yet, and once TPD ran the numbers he realized he himself still had a chance to win it. LFB was on a losing streak and The Dingos were his opponent. He would need a victory over The Dingos, paired with a LFB loss. Even better was the fact that he could make the playoffs as a wildcard, if he were to win and Njokus On You were to lose. Now it was on, and TPD's lineup was getting hot at the right time. All TPD had to do was pick the right QB. Kyler had a great matchup and Hurts had a terrible one. TPD went with Kyler, and the results were terrible. Hurts went off, and Kyler scored 6 points. Such a microcosm of TPD's season. But fate it seems, is not without a sense of irony. For the rest of TPD's squad showed up in a big way. His star studded WRs all scored over 20, and Gibbs continued to beast. The stage was set for a crazy Monday night conclusion.

TPD needed to hold off The Dingos. Both he and Dingos had 3 players on Monday Night. TPD also needed Kyle Pitts to score below 11 points, in order for Coop to beat LFB. Such a circumstance never goes in TPD's favor, like ever. But TPD felt good all week. He enjoyed playing in the underdog role and had a good feeling from the jump. He got his game face on and watched every snap, never giving up. Fireworks started from the jump when JJ for TPD and London for Dingos each scored touchdowns. Things were looking down when the squad slowed after that point. But 3 catches on the final 1st half drive for Hockenson brought spirits back up again. The match-up would come down to the 2nd half of the final fantasy regular season game.

The rest as they say is history. TPD took control. He steadily racked up points from JJ, Hock, and Koo. He watched as he slowly built a lead, and over the course of the rest of the night, he separated himself from the Dingos. The final question was whether or not Pitts would score over 11. Pitts struggled early, but started getting catches in the 4th quarter. As the game was nearing its end, a Hail Mary could have forced the game into overtime. And from there a Pitts TD in overtime would have sent TPD into perhaps the darkest place of his fantasy career since his pre-title days. But luckily it did not come to pass. Pitts finished below 11 and TPD secured his playoff spot and the East crown. A shocking and most enjoyable result. TPD soared, feeling as light as a feather.

The anxiety packed final stretch is a legendary moment in TPD's already storied career. It is a comeback for the ages. And now this team feels a certain destiny about them. The playoffs are a reset. Throw the records out and the matchups out. History has proven that anything is possible and TPD is gaining momentum at the perfect time. He dares once more to reach towards glory blinding, star riched skies. It's the playoff baby. Never doubt this TPD's metal. He been through it all. The time has come once more.

Back2Back Division Champs! Playoff Bound Again!

TPD should have won last week. His kicker missed two field goals which would have won the game. Such poor circumstance year after year. Truly ridiculous and uncontrollable. The worst luck manager in the history of football will keep trying. Strength and Honor.

It is now or never CMC.

Week 11 Press Release

The Peaking Dynasty vs The Replacements

T.J. Hockenson - Minnesota Vikings Tight End - ESPN

Date: November 17, 2024
Time: 1:00pm
Place: Tight Grip Palace

Starting Lineup:
QB: Jalen Hurts
WR: Justin Jefferson
WR: A.J. Brown
RB: Christian McCaffrey
RB: Jahmyr Gibbs
TE: T.J. Hockenson
FLEX: CeeDee Lamb
K: Justin Tucker
DEF: Detroit

TPD finds himself in familiar territory. He has a great teams, but one that has faced horrible circumstance. Entering week 11, he is (5-5), but has the 2nd most points scored. Such a fate seems to be this franchise's curse. But looking  ahead, TPD sees a light. A light that will bring about a repeat of history.

In week 9 of 2016, TPD was looking down the barrel, facing the same bad circumstance as he always has. He needed Evans and Julio to explode on Thursday night, and explode they did. The season shifted from that point on, and TPD went on a rampage securing the first of his three straight titles. Enter this week he once again has two studs going on a Thursday, with the season in the balance. A repeat of history has happened before, and the results were good, and the results this week will be too. The winds of change are stirring. It is time for an awakening.

The lineup needs to play better than last week. Sure 112 would have beat many teams in the league, but given the fact that no team has scored below 113 against TPD since week one, TPD cannot not score 120 every week. What a terrible truth, but one he has always had to accept. He is hardened because of it and this week he will once again show his metal.

Player Profile: T.J. Hockenson
Hock is back from injury and playing well. He has been on the bench during Otton's good run, but with Otton on bye Hockenson enters the fold. TPD has held on to him for a while, waiting for this moment. Once again TPD's savvy managing will pay off in the form of a massive victory. Take it Hock, it's yours.

Week 10 Press Release

The Peaking Dynasty vs La Flama Blanca

New Christian McCaffrey injury update is bad news for 49ers RB

Date: November 10, 2024
Time: 1:00pm
Place: TPD Field House

Starting Lineup:
QB: Jalen Hurts
WR: Justin Jefferson
WR: CeeDee Lamb
RB: Christian McCaffrey
RB: Jahmyr Gibbs
TE: Cade Otton
FLEX: A.J. Brown
K: Justin Tucker
DEF: Kansas City

TPD is rolling. He has three straight wins and is the top scorer in the league. The lineup has taken shape as predicted, and he now has climbed into third place. A big game against the first place team is in store for week 10. But let's not bury the lead. Christian McCaffrey is likely back. Oh how sweet it is.

TPD has been waiting for this moment for weeks, after he traded for CMC knowing he would have to wait for him to get healthy. He now joins a starting lineup that has already scored the most points in the league so far. I cannot think of a more powerful midseason addition, to an already unstoppable lineup. Not only does it help the starters, but it adds depth to his RB position. The final stretch will soon be upon us, and CMC will lead the way. The rest of the lineup is largely the same as many of the guys are playing great ball. Hurts has really turned it on, while the WRs continue to be studs. Otton has been a beast as well, and Gibbs is perhaps the most fun RB to watch in the league. Even with such fire power, TPD must remain vigilant and open to making necessary changes. Nothing is assured in the MFFL. TPD will fight for every inch.

Always inching towards victory is the NASTY from Dynasty. It is back home and deserves a standing ovation from the home crowd. It has blasted the competition in recent weeks, and now turns its sights on the top team. Look out. The NASTY was built for these moments. Hardened through poor circumstance and etched in stone coronation.

Player Profile: Christian McCaffrey
This man is a fantasy cheat code, and has been for years. He was one of the central pieces to TPD's 3peat in 16, 17, and 18. CMC was young, but even in his early days he was unstoppable. Now TPD has a chance to repeat history. It has been some time since CMC dawned the TPD colors, but he and the fans could not be more excited for the return. He will carry this team down the stretch, setting forth one of the most dominant championship runs in history. Just do you sir, one NASTY performance awaits.

Week 9 Press Release

The Peaking Dynasty vs El Pollo Loco

Justin Jefferson already getting stupidly disrespected this offseason

Date: November 3, 2024
Time: 1:00pm
Place: Burritoville

Starting Lineup:
QB: Jalen Hurts
WR: Justin Jefferson
WR: CeeDee Lamb
RB: Jahmyr Gibbs
RB: J.K. Dobbins
TE: Cade Otton
FLEX: A.J. Brown
K: Justin Tucker
DEF: Kansas City

TPD did TPD things a week ago. He scored 194 points in a vintage performance. The insertion of Lamb into this lineup did exactly what was expected. Now, a week away from CMC gracing the starting lineup, the question is, who can stop this freight train. Of course TPD's old nemesis poor circumstance will have something to say about that, but for now, TPD has silenced the doubters, and set the entire league on notice. He now has 7 games all time crossing the 190 point threshold. Only one other team has ever even done it once...

The starting lineup is ready to rock. Hurts has shown to be an elite asset this season, even with others doubting him. He mirrors the perceptions of his own franchise. Truly a TPD player this year. The WRs are as scary as ever. It would not be a stretch to say TPD has the three best fantasy WRs in the league right now. Gibbs has been exactly what TPD expected when he traded for him, an absolute stud. While Dobbins continues to hold the fort down until CMC is ready to be unleashed. Otton proved he is a top 5 TE moving forward last week.

This team is built for one purpose, to destroy the likes of MFFL men. The NASTY roared a blood curdling scream a week ago and is hungry for more. The vision and prophecies are becoming true. TPD gives zero Fs. He will take what is rightfully his, and assume his position atop pride rock. I have seen it once. It is memory, precious and pure. I have seen the world fade away. For what is dead may never die.

Player Profile: Justin Jefferson
JJ fell to TPD with the 8th pick in this year's draft. TPD selected him without hesitation. He knew the league had made a massive mistake, and now they all know it as well. JJ has yet to explode but he has perhaps the safest floor in fantasy. This week he dominates, and sets one hell of a stage for CMC's return. Go TPD!

Week 8 Press Release

The Peaking Dynasty vs The Dingos Ate Your Babies

Date: October 27, 2024
Time: 1:00pm
Place: Central Park Field

Starting Lineup:
QB: Jalen Hurts
WR: Justin Jefferson
WR: A.J. Brown
RB: Jahmyr Gibbs
RB: J.K. Dobbins
TE: Cade Otton
FLEX: CeeDee Lamb
K: Justin Tucker
DEF: Kansas City

TPD finally won a game last week. For now, hope towards the season remains intact. The roster played to their standard, and TPD is now 3rd in points scored. The only thing holding him back is his league's toughest schedule. This week presents another opportunity for TPD to show his dominance even with the bad circumstance.

Lamb enters TPD's lineup for the first time this season. Look out. Hurts and Brown remain an elite stack, while JJ will beast on Thursday night. Gibbs exploded last week, which TPD always knew was coming. Gibbs remains a cheat code in fantasy. TPD traded for Chubb this week, who will provide depth until CMC is ready to return. Waddle gets Tua back, and TPD hopes he regains his previous form, even if being a bench player. This terrifying lineup is ready to unleash hell. All will shield their eyes from its awesome might of awesomeness.

The NASTY loved playing at home last week. Now it is time to get some road victories. The engine of TPD is in pursuit of greatness. Every year TPD has a week that changes the course of his season. Last week may have been that changing of the winds, so this week the momentum will carry. It is memory precious and pure. TPD, veined with reverence and nostalgia. The weight of which no other man can carry. Shine on TPD, you shine on.

Player Profile: CeeDee Lamb
All doubters of the world unite. Ya'll know them? F it me neither, but point the biggest sceptic out and I'll make them a believer. Lamb becomes yet another elite WR to dawn TPD's flex spot. A spot that has displayed previous terrifying individuals. Often individuals that represent the elite of the WR position. CeeDee is no different. Watch now, as he wears the TPD colors, and puts on a second half show for the ages. Such power is indescribable and terrifying as the dawn. What a NASTY way to put the league on notice.

Week 7 Press Release

The Peaking Dynasty vs Njokus On You

Date: October 20, 2024
Time: 1:00pm
Place: TPD Field House

Starting Lineup:
QB: Jalen Hurts
WR: Justin Jefferson
WR: A.J. Brown
RB: Jahmyr Gibbs
RB: J.K. Dobbins
TE: Sam LaPorta
FLEX: Jayden Reed
K: Justin Tucker
DEF: Washington

TPD has lost four straight in no fault of his own. Once again the league continues to score points in bunches against this team year in and year out. It is truly remarkable how bad this team's luck is. It would break any other manager. This franchise however will never break. For what is dead may never die.

TPD knows his team is great, and they are playing well to prove it. But four straight losses is four straight losses. TPD swung big this week on the trade portal. He acquired none other than CeeDee Lamb. Lamb is on bye, but next week, it's on. TPD now has five of the ten 1st round draft picks from this year's draft, and the two players selected one and two overall. Are you kidding me? What an embarrassment of riches. Even with all that has happened this season, TPD will rise again. He doesn't care anymore, he is bringing everyone down with him. Regardless of the record, this team will be one to watch.

The NASTY from Dynasty has been put to sleep the last few weeks. Whenever it wakes up, all of the league will feel it. It rises to the top, taking no hostages along the way. Its wake is shadows and dust. Shine on TPD, you shine on. You know what they awoke in the darkness of Kazad-dum. Shadow and flame.

Player Profile: J.K. Dobbins
Dobbins is a crowd favorite. Not only is he a buckeye, but he is on pace to win comeback player of the year. His leadership and toughness is exactly what this team needs right now. He will be the example of how never to give up. This week, he will show the world that TPD is back, and here to stay.
Go Dobbins!

Week 6 Press Release

The Peaking Dynasty vs Imposing Monstrosity

A.J. Brown Philadelphia Eagles Unsigned Horizontal In-Action Photograph

Date: October 13, 2024
Time: 1:00pm
Place: Tape Measure Field

Starting Lineup:
QB: Jalen Hurts
WR: A.J. Brown
WR: Marvin Harrison Jr.
RB: Jahmyr Gibbs
RB: James Cook
TE: Sam Laporta
FLEX: Jayden Reed
K: Justin Tucker
DEF: Philadelphia

Once again TPD is faced with accepting a brutal reality. The reality being that no one has more bad luck and bad circumstance in the history of the MFFL. The league's all time toughest schedule holder is yet again being put in situations few others could even fathom. Just image how dominate this juggernaut would be if he faced even just an average league schedule. As it is, TPD must go into each week knowing he needs at least 130 points to even have a chance at winning. This week TPD hopes the boys deliver.

Guys are back from bye which helps. The lineup is elite top to bottom, which is why TPD did not make any trades this week. He will trust in is dudes and wait for the eventual explosion. Here's to hoping it is this week.

Player Profile: A.J. Brown
Brown has not played since week one. TPD has severely missed his services. Though with a schedule like his it may not have mattered much for TPD. Brown returns following bye and is fully healthy. The Hurts Brown stack was elite in week 1, and now they will dominate the rest of the way. The season shifts now.

Week 5 Press Release

The Peaking Dynasty vs Chicken Noodle Coop

PFF: Kyler Murray 17th among quarterbacks ahead of 2024

Date: October 6, 2024
Time: 1:00pm
Place: The Hen Den

Starting Lineup:
QB: Kyler Murray
WR: Justin Jefferson
WR: Marvin Harrison Jr.
RB: James Cook
RB: Rhamondre Stevenson
TE: Cade Otton
FLEX: Jayden Reed
K: Justin Tucker
DEF: Chicago

TPD ran into a buzzsaw last week, but the team played well in a loss. The back to back losses are disappointing, but this team continues to improve week to week. Bye weeks are a concern in week 5, but when this team hits full strength there will be no stopping them.

The depth and potential TPD has acquired is astounding. Sure he does it every season, but this year looks even more potent considering who they just traded for. CMC is now on TPD. There is uncertainty with CMC, which is what led to the reasonable cost to get him. TPD was the guy to take the swim. If he gets anything out of CMC it will be gravy, and it will take his roster to another level.

TPD now has both stars and depth at every position. Murray gets the nod with Jalen on bye. The stack with Harrison should pay off immediately. Jefferson has a tough match-up but will dominate anyway. Gibbs is on bye, forcing Stevenson into the starting lineup for a week. Reed will beast in TPD's flex, while Otton will become yet another free agent pickup in a long line of TPD moves to pay off.

The lineup is lessened this week but it won't matter. The NASTY is enraged. The time is now to go on a run. The future is set and his destiny awaits. It was once so fragile you could only whisper it. Anything more than a whisper and it would vanish.

Player Profile: Kyler Murray
Murray has a tough match-up, but he is determined to bounce back. He can't be held down forever, and he will show why TPD traded for him. Hurts to Brown, or Murray to Harrison, either stack is gold. This week the gold will come from Zona's dynamic duo. So NASTY from Dynasty.

Week 4 Press Release

The Peaking Dynasty vs The Real McCoy

Jahmyr Gibbs - Detroit Lions Running Back - ESPN

Date: September 29, 2024
Time: 1:00pm
Place: TPD Field House

Starting Lineup:
QB: Anthony Richardson
WR: Justin Jefferson
WR: Marvin Harrison Jr
RB: Jahmyr Gibbs
RB: James Cook
TE: Cole Kmet
FLEX: Travis Etienne
K: Justin Tucker
DEF: Chicago

Very few players showed up for TPD last week. It was a disappointing effort, but one that led to some changes. TPD typically makes big moves after depressing losses, and last week was no different. Gibbs, Etienne, and Richardson, all arrive to TPD ready to explode.

The team is injured, impacting many starters. But the bench looks ready to step up and fill the void. Richardson or Fields will likely start at QB because Hurts may be missing both Smith and Brown. TPD is confident his buy-low of Richardson could pay off, even this week in a tough match-up. His ability to put up points on the ground should help him steady the ship until his passing improves. JJ will do his thing, while Harrison will continue his ascent towards the top of the WR rankings. What he has accomplished as  a rookie in the early going is remarkable. Bringing in Gibbs and Etienne completely overhauls the RB core. This unit is young and explosive, and all of whom could have career years. Cook has been a revelation in the early going. With Laporta being hurt, Kmet will get a spot start after showing strong chemistry with Williams the last two weeks.

The NASTY will head home with an empty stomach. A situation it cannot stand. The home crowd will rev the team up after a bad performance. Look for TPD to unleash the NASTY from Dynasty on Sunday.

Player Profile: Jahmyr Gibbs
TPD believed in Gibbs a year ago, even after his slow start. That belief paid off as Gibbs became one of his best players, and a 1st round draft pick in this year's draft. Being back on TPD must feel amazing for Gibbs. He is already off to a good start, but his explosion is right soon, now that he dawns TPD colors again. Show your NASTY side Gibbs, you are home.

Week 3 Press Release

The Peaking Dynasty vs Njokus On You

Detroit Lions may need time to roll offensively: 'Sometimes it takes a minute'

Date: September 22, 2024
Time: 1:00pm
Place: NJOY Stadium

Starting Lineup:
QB: Jalen Hurts
WR: Justin Jefferson
WR: Marvin Harrison
RB: Josh Jacobs
RB: James Cook
TE: Sam Laporta
FLEX: George Pickens
K: Justin Tucker
DEF: Tampa Bay

TPD is (2-0) and rolling after last week's performance. Even with a fluke injury in pre-game warmups, he beasted. Everyone stepped up in the face of poor circumstance. Injuries abound in week 3, but TPD will navigate and find a way.

Hurts has been spectacular. He has proven that last season's mild struggles were a problem with coaching. The new OC has unlocked his fantasy potential. Jefferson has been that guy, but he is injured to begin this week. Brown will likely be out again, possibly even until week 6. It is a blow, but TPD has depth at that position. The RBs have been great, just as TPD thought they would be when everyone else was doubting them. Trading for Pollard gives them much needed depth at that position too. He may get a flex spot start if Jefferson is ruled out, bumping Pickens into the #2 spot. Harrison balled out, just as TPD predicted. How foolish all the narrative around him was. He will feast for TPD all year. Laporta comes in as a buy low. He will finally start performing now that he gets to dawn the TPD colors.

The lineup may be less than optimal, but it won't matter. The NASTY heads out for its first road trip, full from devouring opponents over the last two weeks. It will consume the oppositions field and take over. You know of what I speak.

Player Profile: Sam Laporta
The doubt around Laporta makes little sense considering the entire TE position across the league is crumbling. What a perfect guy to target and wait for his eventual explosion. The explosion happens this week. These things happen once players get to this franchise. Laporta will be no different. The TE position has plagued TPD for years, but now that plague will end. One NASTY performance awaits.

Week 2 Press Release

 The Peaking Dynasty vs Unstopa-Bo

Date: September 15, 2024
Time: 1:00pm
Place: TPD Field House

Starting Lineup:
QB: Jalen Hurts
WR: Justin Jefferson
WR: A.J. Brown
RB: Josh Jacobs
RB: James Cook
TE: Evan Engram
FLEX: Marvin Harrison Jr.
K: Justin Tucker
DEF: Dallas

TPD secured the victory in week one. It wasn't a smash performance, but they did enough to win. Entering week 2, TPD is ready to put on a bigger show, setting the tone for the rest of the season.

Once again, to no ones surprise, TPD hit the trade market. They snatched up MHJ while the panic was spreading, and the power move will pay off big for this franchise. For all those doubting Harrison, let me remind you that Justin Jefferson's first NFL game resulted in 2 catches for 26 yards. His 2nd game, 3 catches for 44 yards. That season JJ ended up with 1,400 receiving yards. Harrison will smash. Rookies take time, and week 2 will prove all those doubting him to be wrong. Hurts, Jefferson, and Brown all did their thing. They are the back bone of TPD this year. Jacobs and Cook played well, but people around the league continue to question their talent. That will end after this week, since both are about to explode in week 2. TPD traded away both Andrews and Likely, and Engram steps in, in a bounce back spot. The Cowboys D played incredibly well, proving why TPD prioritized drafting them.

While some may be doubting this roster, TPD knows the truth. The NASTY is alive and well. Once again, at the friendly confines of TPD Field House, the outcome is assured. It will devour all, propelling TPD to one fast start. A position TPD has rarely inhabited within the MFFL. Good luck to all if TPD isn't operating at a deficit like so many times before.

Player Profile: Marvin Harrison Jr.
The amount of hate coming MHJ's way after one bad performance, in his first ever game, is truly unprecedented. He is the best WR prospect since megatron, and like megatron, TPD will create an ever lasting bond with MHJ. The former OSU star is too elite to fail. His performance this week will silence all the doubters. He will propel TPD to victory, and show everyone the full might of his power over the course of 60 minutes. The time has come. MHJ shines in week 2.

The time has come. MFFL football is back and TPD is going all out once again.

The draft went incredibly well. He was patient, taking his time to make picks, and it paid off. TPD came away with one of the best roster's in the league, with each player fitting in well and without regret. Plus, you know he has been active on the trade market. He has already orchestrated an massive trade to get A.J. Brown. Pairing him with Hurts before week 1 even begins represents two things. First, TPD's strength and power. 2nd, it represents the most dangerous stack in the entire league. Oh and don't forget, Justin Jefferson sits between them in the starting lineup.

TPD is bound and determined to get back to the top. Yes he remains as dominant as ever, but the MFFL title has recently eluded him. It is reminiscent of the early days of the MFFL. We all know what happened once TPD broke through. His time at the top well come again, but for now we focus on the journey.

TPD is running it back with J Jetta. Jefferson was hurt last year after being selected #1 overall by TPD. This year don't call it a comeback. Jefferson remains the best WR in the MFFL. More on Jacobs later. The rest of the lineup will take shape throughout the season, but TPD has depth and fire power. James Cook will be an explosive weapon as long as he can cut down on the fumbles. Andrews, like Jefferson, will remind all of his talent, after being hurt last season.

TPD's history is rich. The NASTY from Dynasty being the compelling engine. None shall stand in it's way. For TPD will rise again. You know of what I speak. "Moria, you fear to go in there. The dwarves delved too greedily and too deep. You know what they awoke in the darkness of Kazad-dum. Shadow and flame."

Player Profile: Josh Jacobs
Jacobs is TPD's ace up his sleeve this season. So many are doubting him after a down year, but so much has changed for him. He goes to a good offense, and will retain his workhorse role. Still young, Jacobs will explode this season. His RB1 performances will leave no doubt as to why TPD took him. After all, he just led the league in rush yards a short two seasons ago. Welcome to a dominant new team Jacobs. Referring to TPD of course. One NASTY season awaits.
