So it comes to this.
PD enters week 14 in an all or nothing play-in game for the 2015 MFFL playoffs. PD is looking for a league record 4th straight playoff appearance and to do so he must come to play in the biggest game of the year against Tavon and Only. This sudden death match-up is the first play-in game this league as ever seen and as such it is gaining momentum as one of the biggest games in MFFL history. PD played great last week securing a victory over LFB. His team has dealt with major injuries throughout the season but he is still playing at an extremely high level. Its all hands on deck for this week. Throw records, stats, and match-ups out the window. PD is out for revenge. A season's worth of frustration has been boiling over for PD over the last two weeks, as it is fuel pushing him towards the playoffs. In anticipation of perhaps the biggest regular season game in MFFL history, expect nothing less than a Grand Canyon sized load of NASTY to be engulfing the pristine grass of PD Field House. PD is trying to secure his 40th regular season win all time. Expect the fans migrating to PD Field House for Sunday's showdown to create nothing less than the most frenzied environment you have ever seen.

Player Profile: Tyrod Taylor
Tyrod Taylor has been on fire as of late and now he faces an Eagles unit struggling to keep it together. Taylor played against PD in week 3, orchestrating one of PD's most devastating losses of the season, but now PD will try to turn pain into joy with Taylor leading the way. Taylor's athletic ability
has at times been characterized as NASTY. PD will call upon that NASTY to deliver the Knockout blow on Sunday, and in the process sealing PD's playoff fate.

Week 13 Press Release

Perpetual Dynasty vs La Flama Blanca

Date: December 6, 2015
Time: 1:00PM
Place: Busch Field

Starting Lineup:
QB: Matthew Stafford
WR: Antonio Brown
WR: Alshon Jeffery
RB: Latavius Murray
RB: Jeremy Hill
TE: Scott Chandler
FLEX: Demaryius Thomas
K: Stephen Gostkowski
DEF: Washington

Two weeks are left in the season and PD is still alive for the playoffs. His season has been brutally tough, as he holds the toughest schedule in the league. Hope is not lost though and PD plans to exact revenge on the loss earlier in the season that has hurt more than all the others. This team will fight to their very last breath. Its officially now or never and PD is coming for blood. This is an angry team, with a angry staff. Its time to cast away the demons and open up a massive can of NASTY on any who oppose this team. The fact that PD is still alive this late in the year, after everything that has happened, has to be frightening for other league members. If by some miracle this team makes the playoffs it will send a chill down the spine of every other playoff participant. PD will be head hunting.

Player Profile: Alshon Jeffery
At this time of the year, free agent pick ups are huge for teams competing for playoff positioning. PD got Scott Chandler last week in hopes of leaching off of the New England TE juice. While that pick up could be huge, PD must also rely on his stars. PD's stars have consistently let him down around this time of the season, but PD will not relinquish his hopes and expectations. Insert Alshon Jeffery as PD's player profile for Week 13 and expect a performance worthy of a NASTY tag. Go get it Alshon, show your NASTY side.

Week 12 Press Release

Perpetual Dynasty vs El Pollo Loco (RW #2)

Date: November 29, 2015
Time: 1:00PM
Place: PD Field House

Starting Lineup:
QB: Matthew Stafford
WR: Antonio Brown
WR: Demaryius Thomas
RB: Latavius Murray
RB: Alfred Blue
TE: Travis Kelce
FLEX: Alshon Jeffery
K: Stephen Gostkowski
DEF: Cleveland

PD withstood a final push from TD's last week to secure his 4th win in his last 6 games. While the playoffs are still a long-shot, PD has not wavered once, leading to an average of 151 ppg in his last six. PD has benched stars this year(Brown, Jeffery, Lynch) and made consistently strong defensive pick ups each week, leading to what many believe is PD's best managerial season, even with his poor place in the standings. What hasn't helped PD all season is his brutal schedule, PD currently holds the league's toughest schedule. This week offers another opportunity for a team to play great against PD when Loco comes to PD Field House. Loco's team is better than his record, and everyone seemingly plays well against PD. PD has also quietly been hurt by major injuries. Luck, Foster, Lynch, and sometimes Jeffery have been huge losses for this team. Even with all that PD has never given up and finds himself in a huge game come Thanksgiving weekend. When Loco asked for a family member to pass the green beans, don't be surprised by the look on his face when he is delivered a massive bowl of NASTY. PD will try to keep whipping up those NASTY performances for members around the league.

Player Profile: Cleveland Defense
The last time PD started Cleveland they got 4 points in a huge loss against the Morgans. PD scored 147 but it was not enough. This time around PD calls upon the Browns on Monday night football, with a chance to redeem themselves on the big stage. Look for Believeland to transform into NASTY city come Monday Night. I believe.

QB: Matthew Stafford
WR: Alshon Jeffery
WR: Demaryius Thomas
RB: Marshawn Lynch
RB: Latavius Murray
TE: Travis Kelce
FLEX: Jonathan Stewart
K: Stephen Gostkowski
DEF: Baltimore

Another week, another strong performance from PD. He has scored at least 137 points in every game since week 5. PD put up over 140 despite Peyton Manning getting (-8). The win kept PD alive for the playoffs for at least another week. Coming into PD Field House for week 11 will be TD's. PD is hoping to extract revenge after losing to TD's for the first time ever in week 1 of this season. TD's brings a talented team to the table, even though they have scored the fewest points in the league. PD will be monitoring his RBs b
efore kickoff as Jeremy Langford may get another start for the Bears. If that's the case, PD will put langford straight into the lineup as he has been the best fantasy RB over the last two weeks. Not having Antonio Brown for this week is a serious blow but PD is hoping other guys can step up. Its a massive week, and another chance for PD to put on a show. The NASTY quota has been oozing over the top, and PD will yet again deliver a case load to the front lawn of TD's come Sunday. Here's to hoping TD's has a good landscaper.

Player Profile: Demaryius Thomas
Insert a new QB for Denver and watch Thomas fly. Thomas has had a great season even with the weak arm of Peyton throwing to him all season. Expect Denver to take some shots down field early and often to their main weapon on the outside. Show your ridiculous skill set Demaryius, time to deliver the NASTY.

PD's bad luck has hit an extreme level. He cannot win, even while averaging over 160 ppg over the last month. He will take the 3rd best ppg average and 3 wins into week 10 against the Morgans. PD will once again deliver the NASTY to his opponent. NASTY.

Player Profile: Marshawn Lynch
PD welcomes back the NASTIEST player in the league after signing a contract extension earlier last week. Lynch was acquired at the same time last year, leading to many NASTY Sundays together. Time to beast and show your NASTY Beastmode.

Week 9 Press Release

Perpetual Dynasty vs La Flama Blanca

Date: November 8, 2015
Time: 1:00PM
Place: PD Field House

Starting Lineup:
QB: Peyton Manning
WR: Antonio Brown
WR: Alshon Jeffery
RB: Jeremy Hill
RB: Jeremy Langford
TE: Zach Ertz
FLEX: Demaryius Thomas
K: Stephen Gostkowski
DEF: Atlanta

PD could not win his third game in a row last week in a heartbreaking loss to Tavon. PD's team played well but Tavon had some fortune bounces go his way. Entering Week 9 PD is in extreme straights, as the season is slipping away. PD is looking for his first home win and first divisional win of the season. His team is averaging 164 ppg over the last 3 weeks. After some bye weeks in week 9, PD will support a lineup featuring huge names like, Luck, Brown, Jeffery, Thomas, Lynch, and Kelce. This week PD will hope to get great production out of his roster, as he is facing a tough La Flama lineup. PD needs to win this game. The NASTY has been working on overload for 3 straight weeks, its time to make a months worth of NASTY product delivered to LFB headquarters. Look out the window Flama, there is a truck full of NASTY waiting for you.

Player Profile: Jeremy Langford
In steps Langford for the Bears rushing attack. Langford is a well versed RB, able to catch and run. He will hopefully take control in a match-up on Monday night against the Chargers. PD will look to Langford and Jeffery to close the door late in the match-up. Expect Langford to be a jack of all trades for Chicago. Langford's resume will soon read NASTY, under the section titled: Skills and Proficiency's.

Week 8 Press Release

Perpetual Dynasty vs Tavon and Only

Date: November 1, 2015
Time: 1:00PM
Place: TO Stadium

Starting Lineup:
QB: Peyton Manning
WR: Antonio Brown
WR: Calvin Johnson
RB: Latavius Murray
RB: Jonathan Stewart
TE: Jimmy Graham
FLEX: Demaryius Thomas
K: Stephen Gostkowski
DEF: Houston

PD has made two huge statements in consecutive weeks. He beat his own single week points record of 2015 scoring 180 points against unstopa-bo in week 7, after setting the record in week 6 with 175 points. His roster stepped up in the biggest game to date. Heading into week 8 PD is looking for his first divisional win of the year. He faces a very talented Tavon team to close out a 3 game road trip. PD will have to overcome the loss of Arian Foster quickly. PD has historically gone on a win streaks around this time of the season and a win here would allow PD to work towards yet another such ride. PD's NASTY unleashing has been in dominant proportions recently. Looking for his first divisional win of the year, PD will once again try to deliver the NASTY from Dynasty right to Tavon's front door. Knock Knock Mr. Tavon.

Player Profile: Houston Defense
This defense has been one of the worst all season. But a week following one of PD's best free agent pick ups ever(PD picked up Giants D the night before week 7, and they scored 26) PD is putting another D in the spotlight before this mega match-up. Maybe PD just wanted to mention Giants D in this Press release, but look for Houston to have their best game of the year against the Titans at home.

Week 7 Press Release

Perpetual Dynasty vs Unstopa-Bo

Date: October 25, 2015
Time: 1:00PM
Place: Funny Bone Stadium

Starting Lineup:
QB: Andrew Luck
WR: Antonio Brown
WR: Calvin Johnson
RB: Arian Foster
RB: Jonathan Stewart
TE: Jimmy Graham
FLEX: Mike Evans
K: Stephen Gostkowski
DEF: Philadelphia

A season's worth of frustration had been building for PD entering rivalry week, and PD disposed of it en route to setting the league's highest point total this season. His roster put on a show sending a message to the entire league. The message being that PD has finally awoken from his slumber and he is hungry for more. PD enters week 7 with some momentum and the hope of future success. PD has worked extremely hard to shape a roster with the potential of climbing out of this early season hole. PD's roster now features a WR core with some of the biggest names in the industry. Antonio Brown, Calvin Johnson, Alshon Jeffery, Demaryius Thomas, and Mike Evans constitute one of the deepest most talented WR groups ever assembled, at least on paper. PD's prize for all this work is cruel, as he now faces Unstopa-Bo, the most dominate team to start this season in terms of points. Even without some big named players for PD this week, he will try to take down one of the hottest teams ever at this juncture of the season. To do so PD will look to unleash the NASTY from Dynasty and fill the quota to maximum capacity.

Player Profile: Calvin Johnson
He's back. PD welcomes back one of the most decorated PD players of all time for his hugely important week 7 match-up. Megatron was traded away for a few weeks, but he is back were he belongs right in PD's starting Lineup. PD will be bringing back the Megatron dance in hopes of dancing his way to victory in week 7. Its time to unleash your NASTY Megatron. You are finally home.

Week 6 Press Release (Rivalry Week)

Perpetual Dynasty vs El Pollo Loco

Date: October 16, 2015
Time: 1:00PM
Place: Burritoville

Starting Lineup:
QB: Andrew Luck
WR: Antonio Brown
WR: Demaryius Thomas
RB: Arian Foster
RB: Charcandrick West
TE: Jimmy Graham
FLEX: Alshon Jeffery
K: Stephen Gostkowski
DEF: Philadelphia

It has been an awful season for PD. He hopes to turn it around against his rival. Nothing has gone right for PD this season. Other managers around the league are waiting for this beast to wake from his slumber, but PD fears the hibernation will continue. PD hopes players get healthy and new additions can make an immediate impact. The NASTY quota has been squashed faster than a five hour energy drink this season but PD will once again take the NASTY from dynasty and unleash it upon his opponent. This is it for PD. He has to win.

Player Profile: Charcandrick West
Ya.....That's right....Charizard. If West can produce at a high level it would help PD get a much needed win and perhaps secure a #2 RB spot moving forward. NASTY time Charizard.

Week 5 Press Release

Perpetual Dynasty vs The Real McCoy

Date: October 11, 2015
Time: 1:00PM
Place: PD Field House

Starting Lineup:
QB: Matthew Stafford
WR: Antonio Brown
WR: Alshon Jeffery
RB: Arian Foster
RB: Jeremy Hill
TE: Jimmy Graham
FLEX: Doug Martin
K: Stephen Gostkowski
DEF: Houston

PD has lost two straight games and last week he hit rock bottom. His roster failed to score a touchdown and PD still has not had a starting RB score a touchdown all season. Injuries and misfortune have been a theme for PD all season. He now faces a McCoy team with a strong lineup. PD will be without the services of Andrew Luck for the 2nd straight game and because of Luck's injury he will be benching T.Y. as well. PD continues to make trades every week, seemingly improving his lineup but the wins have not come. PD may have to wait another week before his lineup reaches its full potential, meaning he could easily start the season (1-4). Patience is a virtue many people believe will pay off for PD, but his performance on the field has been completely unacceptable. PD does not beat McCoy often but a win in week 5 could be the turning point in PD's season. The NASTY juice from Dynasty was stuck on PD's bench last week, he will try to deliver the NASTY from his starting lineup in week 5's best match-up.

Player Profile: Matthew Stafford
PD's player profiles have been performing well all season long outside of one week. This week's profile is Matthew Stafford. The Lions and Stafford have been below average to start the season but PD feels this week could be the moment they come out of hibernation. They are at home for only the second time all season and they are hungry after a devastating loss in week 4. Stafford delivering the NASTY would be a turning point in his season as well as the spark that could lead to some wins for PD. Show your NASTY side Matthew.

Week 4 Press Release

Perpetual Dynasty vs Imperium

Date: October 4, 2015
Time: 1:00PM
Place: PD Field House

Starting Lineup:
QB: Andrew Luck
WR: Antonio Brown
WR: T.Y. Hilton
RB: Eddie Lacy
RB: Jeremy Hill
TE: Jimmy Graham
FLEX: Steve Smith
K: Sebastian Janikowski
DEF: Cincinnati

PD tried with all his might to win last week, scoring 147 points, but it was not enough to take down the Morgans. PD has started this season with two divisional losses and a home loss. These things never happen to PD. He needs to turn these atypical trends around this week against the league's #1 seed, Imperium. PD hates the weeks he plays Imperium but it must be done. PD again made moves in an effort to change up his roster. He welcomes back a perennial PD player T.Y. Hilton and looks to Jeremy Hill to turn around his season and PD's. He has had laughable production from his RB core this season, having no RB score a TD when on PD's roster in any capacity. PD has two of his best players starting on Thursday night for PD and Thursdays have rarely worked well for him. PD needs to gain momentum and positive mojo if he is to mount consistent wins this season. PD unleashed the NASTY from Dynasty last week in terms of points but he did not allow the NASTY to absorb his opponent enough for a victory. PD hopes the nasty will finish the job this week as he will once again look to deliver the load against one of the league's best teams.

Player Profile: Jeremy Hill
PD's faith in his RB core is at an extreme low. Jeremy Hill's season has been a microcosm of the struggles PD has had. However, PD refuses to give up hope, and putting his faith in a RB as a player profile for the first time this season is a strong message for his team, showing PD's confidence. If Jeremy can perform well this week it may be enough to turn around PD's RB woes and PD's season. Jeremy Hill has been known to have nasty running through his veins, he will try to discharge it come week 4.

Week 3 Press Release

Perpetual Dynasty vs The Advantageous Morgans

Date: September 27, 2015
Time: 1:00PM
Place: PD Field House

Starting Lineup:
QB: Andrew Luck
WR: Antonio Brown
WR: Allen Robinson
RB: C.J. Anderson
RB: James Starks
TE: Jimmy Graham
FLEX: Steve Smith
K: Stephen Gostkowski
DEF: Browns

PD enters his first home game of 2015 following a victory in week 2 and the fans are ready to make it tough on his week 3 opponent The Advantageous Morgans. PD Field House has been a fortress of devastation for road teams, as PD has a (19-2) home record since PD Field House opened in 2012. Stepping onto the field for PD will be another group of reloaded players. PD once again traded away big named talent in an effort to make his roster that much more powerful. New comers Allen Robinson and C.J. Anderson jump right into the starting lineup offering excitement and juice for a hungry bunch. PD his hoping his star players can finally prove their worth in 2015 as many of them have under performed to start the season. This match-up is key to divisional bragging rights and The Morgans are confident after a win against Tavon in week 2. PD's NASTY quota was met in week 2 but he hopes to overflow the NASTY out of Dynasty against The Morgans in week 3, showing the league just how much NASTY is awaiting them when they enter the unfriendly confines of PD Field House.

Player Profile: Jimmy Graham
The talk surrounding Jimmy Graham this week has focused on how big of a disappointment he has been. While PD is frustrated with Graham's early performance, he offers this message to skeptics....just stop. The Seahawks finally get to play in front of the 12th man this weekend and no team is more influenced positively by their home crowd than them. Graham will want to put on a show for the local fanatics after a slow start to the season. Expect Graham to be unleashed in week 3, and with it, a whole lot of NASTY.

Week 2 Press Release

Perpetual Dynasty vs Whitner Wonderland

Date: September 20, 2015
Time: 1:00PM
Place: Never Neverland

Starting Lineup:
QB: Andrew Luck
WR: Antonio Brown
WR: Davante Adams
RB: Eddie Lacy
RB: Doug Martin
TE: Jimmy Graham
FLEX: Steve Smith
K: Stephen Gostkowski
DEF: Arizona

PD could not keep his undefeated winning streak against TDs alive last week. His week one loss is not all atypical yet still disappointing. What is typical of PD is to make massive changes to his roster following a demoralizing defeat. Last week was no different as PD acquired Eddie Lacy in order to improve his RB core. PD now features a lineup of three 1st round picks from the 2015 MFFL draft, Eddie Lacy, Antonio Brown, and Andrew Luck. PD has given away much talent in order to build such a lineup, but the firepower is undeniable. His task this week is to defeat a LeVeon Bell less Whitner team. It is a game PD has to win, even though Whitner still brings much talent to the table, including good match-ups for many of his key players. PD will look to dump a ridiculously large amount of NASTY this week after last week's minimal NASTY quota fill. PD has won 8 out of 9 games following a loss in the MFFL. He hopes to keep that strong statistic alive in a win in week 2 of the young season.

Player Profile: Davante Adams
Acquired this week to improve PD's wr core, Davante Adams could explode at any moment in the high powered Green Bay offense. While the match-up against Seattle seems daunting, PD hopes Green Bay's recent dominance in home night games can help Davante break through in a big way. Adams is not the biggest name on PD's roster but until PD gets better match-ups for some of his star players he is going to have to rely on contributing players to make statements in week 2. Davante Adams only needs one play to display his NASTY.

Week 1 Press Release

Perpetual Dynasty vs ShowMeYourTDs

Date: September 13, 2015
Time: 1:00PM
Place: TD's Brothel

Starting Lineup:
QB: Andrew Luck
WR: Antonio Brown
WR: Calvin Johnson
RB: Latavius Murray
RB: Doug Martin
TE: Jimmy Graham
FLEX: Steve Smith Sr.
K: Stephen Gostkowski
DEF: New York (J)

It's Back. The 2015 Miller Fantasy Football Season is less than 48 hours away. The three time defending East Division Champion, Perpetual Dynasty, prepares for yet another MFFL year, with hopes as high as ever. PD finalizes his week one starting lineup after the 2015 MFFL draft and the biggest pre-season trade in MFFL history. PD's draft was headlined by big named veterans in Antonio Brown and Calvin Johnson, while he also grabbed high potential RBs in store for large roles, Latavius Murray and Doug Martin. But the most polarizing aspect of PD's early 2015 season was his acquisition of Andrew Luck and Jimmy Graham via trade. PD hopes Andrew Luck can be the stud quarterback he has been spoiled with each of the last two seasons(Manning, Rodgers). It is a lineup bred for one purpose. His players have set records each year they have dawned the PD uniform. Players know what is expected of them when they join such a prestigious franchise. The bar is set high after PD set many league records in 2014(236 points in a game, 2079 regular season points). PD gets a tough test right out of the gate as he plays TDs in week one yet again, a MFFL tradition.

TD's has one goal in mind, beat PD at all costs. TD's are striving to beat PD for the first time ever, in what is guaranteed to be a star studded affair. Standing in TD's way will be a group of players trying to unleash the NASTY from Dynasty. PD has been fulfilling the NASTY quota for quite some time, and week one 2015 has the same high standards attached. A new league year approaches, and with it the hope of greatness. PD again looks to set the standards across the MFFL. The time is now. 2015. PD is ascending. Unleash the NASTY.

Player Profile: Antonio Brown
For two straight years PD has called upon a player lacing up the cleats for the Thursday opener against TD's. This season marks the third consecutive time PD will look to a Thursday player to set the tone for the season. The ever important role this year goes to none other than Antonio Brown. Brown was the highest selected WR ever in this year's 2015 MFFL draft, 3rd overall. PD expects great things out of his star selection. PD looks to Downtown to start the quest for the crown. It's time for Antonio Brown to show his NASTY.

Draft Talk

The calendar pages turn and PD dives deeper into the upcoming 2015 MFFL draft. PD must settle into the 3rd pick after trading up earlier this offseason. He's not use to having such a high pick. Only 5 of PD's 13 drafts have been from a top 4 pick. His decision to move up was based on pure excitement and not wanting to draft from the 8th pick for a 3rd consecutive year. Now that the dust has settled, and PD can focus on what the 3rd pick means to him, he is beginning to unravel the themes, understandings, and ideology surrounding such a high draft pick.

When reviewing PD’s previous drafts, a theme emerges from the years PD had a top 4 pick.
2003 top 4 pick = championship
2004 top 4 pick = championship
2006 top 4 pick = championship
2011 top 4 pick = 2nd place
2012 top 4 pick = 3rd place
PD has never finished below 3rd place when drafting in the top 4, and on three occasions he has reach the pinnacle. Why has PD had success when drafting early? Let’s look at some numbers.
In the five years PD's had a top 4 pick, he selected a RB in the first round each time(Tomlinson, Tomlinson, Tiki Barber, Ray Rice, Arian Foster). All 5 of those picks had unbelievable seasons.
2003 Tomlinson: 2,370 Total Yards, 100 catches, 17 touchdowns
2004 Tomlinson: 1776 Total Yards, 53 catches, 18 touchdowns
2006 Tiki Barber: 2,127 Total Yards, 58 Catches, 5 Total Touchdowns
2011 Ray Rice: 2068 Total Yards, 76 catches, 15 touchdowns
2012 Arian Foster: 1641 Total Yards, 40 Catches, 17 touchdowns
Clearly much of PD’s success has been linked to his ability to target a fantastic 1st round RB, which is not an easy task. PD would say that 7 of the 20 RBs taken in the 1st round since 2012 have been serious busts, while other RBs have had down years but could not be considered complete busts. This means, on average, half of every RB taken in the 1st round will not live up to draft day potential. Its an unsettling thought for any manager selecting a 1st round RB. The RB Russian roulette hits any and all managers who play the game at some point. PD's great success when drafting in the top 4 is unquestionably related to their 1st round RB selections. If a manager hits on that early round RB then their season is secured in a manner of speaking. His scouting of 1st round RBs has worked for him in the past, and he must hope for similar results this season if he is to select a 1st round RB in 2015.
