Week 4 Press Release

Perpetual Dynasty VS La Flama Blanca

Date: September 28, 2014
Time: 1:00PM
Place: Busch Field

Starting Lineup:
QB: Aaron Rodgers
WR: Dez Bryant
WR: Jordy Nelson
RB: Eddie Lacy
RB: Matt Asiata
TE: Martellus Bennett
FLEX: Keenan Allen
K: Dan Bailey
DEF: Pittsburgh

PD looks to get back to his winning ways after a loss in week 3. He will be attempting to do so against the team with the best record in the league, La Flama Blanca. Undoubtedly the best match-up of the week, PD faces a stiff test. Fortunately for PD, Flama is without some key contributors this week due to bye weeks. PD will be without the services of A.J. Green and Seattle Defense. He welcomes Martellus Bennett into the lineup after trading for him last week. Every player on the squad needs to perform better after the the disappointment that was last week. Looking to bring out the NASTY will be the San Diego Chargers Defense. Playing against a depleted Jacksonville team could help them fill the NASTY quota. Keenan Allen has a chance to prove his worth in the flex with A.J. Green on bye. If Allen can start to perform better PD's WR core cold be that much scarier.

Player Profile: Matt Asiata
Mr. undervalued will take the field for PD for a 2nd time this season. Asiata's first start ended with him acquiring 18 points, a fantastic point total. PD just simply does not understand the negativity surrounding this player. He is a RB in a lead role, without much pressure from a backup RB, on a team trying to run the ball, which also throws to the RB out of the back field. A match-up against the underwhelming Falcon defense should help Asiata be one of PD's top performers.

Week 3 Press Release

Perpetual Dynasty VS The Real McCoy

Date: September 21, 2014
Time: 1:00PM
Place: Jerry World

Starting Lineup:
QB: Aaron Rodgers
WR: Dez Bryant
WR: A.J. Green
RB: Eddie Lacy
RB: Joique Bell
TE: Dennis Pitta
FLEX: Jordy Nelson
K: Dan Bailey
DEF: Seattle

PD brought out the NASTY for the second consecutive week en route to a victory over Whitner Wonderland. It was a tough fought game, with PD coming out on top because of two under performers from week 1, Rodgers and Bryant. This is perhaps his best start to a season in 10 years and he hopes to continue this pace against a worthy opponent. The Real McCoy are destined to perform better after a poor week 2. PD welcomes Jordy Nelson and Eddie Lacy into his starting lineup after two blockbuster trades. PD gave up a lot, but his starting WR core now features perhaps three number 1 WR's. This is a turning point game. The first two weeks are over and teams can now begin to be criticized and defined. PD will look towards his WR's to unleash the NASTY for a 3rd consecutive week.

Player Profile: Eddie Lacy
Lacy has his 3rd difficult match-up in as many weeks. While this may not be the game in which Lacy final performs up to his caliber, PD is still counting on him to show signs of life. Lacy is now two weeks removed from a concussion, and PD expects him to perform well even against a stout front 7. Lacy is a guy who exudes NASTY. He should be a match made in heaven on PD's roster.

Week 2 Press Release

Perpetual Dynasty VS Whitner Wonderland

Date: September 14, 2014
Time: 1:00PM
Place: PD Field House

Starting Lineup:
QB: Aaron Rodgers
WR: Dez Bryant
WR: A.J. Green
RB: Rashad Jennings
RB: Joique Bell
TE: Julius Thomas
FLEX: T.Y. Hilton
K: Dan Bailey
DEF: Seattle

An early divisional victory has PD atop the East Division. While the final stat line may seem pretty, 133-110, PD only managed to have 4 players meet or surpass their point projections. He was carried by Julius Thomas, A.J. Green, and Rashad Jennings who scored a combined 82 points. Reaching 133 is an impressive feat considering A-a-ron Rodgers and Dez Bryant only combined for 17. His sights are now set on the West division leader, Whitner Wonderland. W&W scored the most points in week 1 (148). It was a statement directed at the West division managers. PD hopes to catch Witner on a down week after such a great performance. Rashad Jennings and Joique Bell are playing tough defenses, but PD feels better production out of his stars in week 2 could balance the overall point potential. PD will once again look to lay down the NASTY out of Perpetual Dynasty in week 2.

Player Profile: Seattle
PD paid a big price to acquire Seattle from the Reckoning Rises franchise. After Seattle’s week 1 performance every manager around the league now knows why. They dominated one of the best offenses in the league from start to finish. PD does not expect this type of performance each week, especially when Seattle is on the road, but Seattle is simply one of the best defenses of this era, and they will help PD with his NASTY quota all season.

Week 1 Press Release

Perpetual Dynasty VS ShowMeYourTDs

Date: September 7, 2014
Time: 1:00PM
Place: PD Field House

Starting Lineup:
QB: Aaron Rodgers
WR: Dez Bryant
WR: A.J. Green
RB: Joique Bell
RB: Rashad Jennings
TE: Julius Thomas
FLEX: Michael Crabtree
K: Dan Bailey
DEF: Seattle

The 2014 MFFL Season is mere hours away and PD is ready to roll. PD welcomes ShowMeYourTDs into PD Field House for what is being called the match-up of the week. This match-up's anticipation jumped through the roof when TDs acquired Drew Brees in preparation for the East Division clash. It was a power move. PD has never lost to TDs but the closest they ever came to defeat was in 2012 when PD won the match-up because of the Fail Mary final play between the Packers and the Seahawks. TDs has never forgotten, and now, on the precipice of the season, TDs gets a chance to turn the tide as the Packers head back to Seattle for Week 1. PD hopes his star WR core can help him against two running backs like Adrian Peterson and Andre Ellington. Aaron Rodgers has a tough match-up on the road against PD's defense but he hopes both Rodgers and Seattle can be productive in the same game. As always, PD will try to bring out The NASTY from Perpetual Dynasty. Who better to do that than Seattle defense.

Player Profile: Aaron Rodgers
Last season in the opener against ShowMeYourTDs Peyton Manning put on a show. He was PD's player profile that week as he wanted their star quarterback to set the tone for the season. The season could not have gotten off to a better percussion. Now it is Rodgers turn. 2014 starting circumstances are mirrored and PD hopes for similar results.
