Playoff Press Release

Perpetual Dynasty VS La Flama Blanca

Date: December 14, 2014
Time: 1:00PM
Place: PD Field House

Starting Lineup:
QB: Aaron Rodgers
WR: Calvin Johnson
WR: Dez Bryant
RB: Marshawn Lynch
RB: Justin Forsett
TE: Jimmy Graham
Flex: Jordy Nelson
K: Dan Bailey
DEF: Seattle

Perpetual Dynasty has been waiting for this moment for an entire year. Two straight seasons of round one playoff losses scarred PD. He will never forget the past; yet hope remains. PD is back in the MFFL Playoffs for a 3rd consecutive year. He has a chance to rewrite the pages of his legacy. He has never worked, studied, or prepared harder in any season leading up this moment. True character is revealed in times of great pain. PD opened up his heart, showing the metal of a true survivor. Now is the time to reach higher.

PD must face his demons manifested in the form of a champion, La Flama Blanca. PD will face his greatest challenge as an MFFL manager in order to become something more than what he is. In the starting lineup for Flama are many players responsible for PD's playoff loss one season ago. Fate, as it seems, is not without a sense of irony. PD has never been stronger; over 160 points in 5 out of 6 games, over 170 in 4 of 6, 2079 total points, a regular season league record. Will the stars align for PD's playoff opponents a third straight season? Will the biggest bucking of the trend result in a PD defeat yet again? PD unleashed the NASTY all season. The word Dynasty has been turned into NASTY juice for many years. Filling the quota this week is of the greatest importance. The time has come. PD is throwing down the gauntlet.

Player Profile: Aaron Rodgers
Aaron Rodgers started the season as PD's week 1 player profile. He faced a buzzsaw in seattle after the Seahawks superbowl championship. He is thrown into the wood chipper again, this time in Buffalo. Buffalo's defense just held Peyton Manning to 0 fantasy points, in Denver. PD has no choice but to place his faith in the potential NFL MVP. Rodgers has been the back bone of PD's success all season. No other player can lead this team like A-Rod. Aaron Rodgers, bring the NASTY.

Week 14 Press Release

Perpetual Dynasty VS ShowMeYourTDs

Date: December 7, 2014
Time: 1:00PM
Place: TD's Brothel

Starting Lineup:
QB: Aaron Rodgers
WR: Calvin Johnson
WR: Jordy Nelson
RB: Marshawn Lynch
RB: Justin Forsett
TE: Jimmy Graham
FLEX: Dez Bryant
K: Dan Bailey
DEF: St. Louis

PD got his 10th win of the season in a victory over The Morgans last week. He is only 14 point shy from breaking his single season points record set a year ago. The final week of the regular season is on tap for week 14 and PD's opponent is none other than TDs. TDs has never beaten PD but this is perhaps their best opportunity to date, considering TDs has won 5 straight games. PD is anxious to see the playoff seedings for next week and he hopes to clinch his third straight 11 win season on Sunday. PD has scored over 160 points in 4 out of his last 5 games. As always, PD will attempt to bring the NASTY out of Dynasty on Sunday.

Player Profile: Marshawn Lynch
Beats mode has been setting the tone for the Seahawks all season. He will now try to set the tone for PD on Sunday. PD has been keeping Beats mode on the bench because of better match-up plays, but this week Lynch returns to the starting lineup. If he performs well, it may help his cause towards sealing a spot in the starting lineup for the 2014 playoffs. As is always the case with lynch, in a PPR league, he will need to score a touchdown in order gain RB1 production. One thing PD will not have to worry about is Lynch unleashing the NASTY. Beast Mode is the nastiest player in the NFL. Period.

Week 13 Press Release

Perpetual Dynasty VS Advantageous Morgans

Date: November 30, 2014
Time: 1:00PM
Place: PD Field House

Starting Lineup:
QB: Aaron Rodgers
WR: Dez Bryant
WR: Jordy Nelson
RB: Justin Forsett
RB: Rashad Jennings
TE: Jimmy Graham
FLEX: Calvin Johnson
K: Dan Bailey
DEF: St. Louis

PLAYOFFS! PD has clinched the playoffs for a 3rd consecutive season. He is the only manager who can stake claim to such a statistic. He scored 170 points in a high scoring affair against Loco to secure his 9th win of the season. He has now scored over 170 points in 3 of his last 4 games. Now that he has booked a ticket to the final four he will begin deep player evaluation. Now is the time to decide who PD will take to battle in his starting lineup for the all important playoffs. PD has been delivering the NASTY frequently during his quest for the Final four. This week he will once again try to unleash the nasty from Dynasty in an attempt to take one step closer to a division championship and perhaps a #1 seed heading into the playoffs.

Player Profile: St. Louis Defense
PD drafted St. Louis Defense all the way back in August because of their ability to rush the passer. PD traded them before week 1 even began. St. Louis has found their way back to PD in an attempt to help PD reach new heights. Their first chance to prove themselves comes this week and PD is excited to see what they can do. If they perform well at home against Oakland, PD may have no choice but to perhaps start them in the playoffs. St. Louis has at least 11 points in 5 of their last 6 games, with 3 of those games ending with plus 14 point efforts. Their D-Line will attempt to sack their way to a nasty performance.

Week 12 Press Release

Perpetual Dynasty VS El Pollo Loco

Date: November 23, 2014
Time: 1:00PM
Place: Burrito Ville

Starting Lineup:
QB: Aaron Rodgers
WR: Jordy Nelson
WR: Dez Bryant
RB: Marshawn Lynch
RB: Rashad Jennings
TE: Jimmy Graham
FLEX: Calvin Johnson
K: Dan Bailey
DEF: Seattle

PD aims to feel the joy of victory in week 12 after his first loss in six games last week. He welcomes back Dez Bryant into his lineup in hopes of adding a spark. Still only one win away from clinching a playoff spot, PD will attempt to book his ticket to the final four come Sunday. If PD wins out, he will have his 3rd straight 11 win regular season. That type of consistency is exactly what PD wanted to accomplish when they joined the MFFL in 2012. Another week, another NASTY offload. PD will attempt to bring out the nasty from dynasty after last week's conservation of nasty energy.

Player Profile: Rashad Jennings
PD's player profile has typically sparked two types of performances. The player plays great or lays an egg. Last week Calvin Johnson laid an egg, thus PD demoted him to FLEX position. This week Rashad Jennings will have a chance to regain the player profile swag. PD was extremely thrilled to bring back Jennings after trading him earlier in the season and he is excited to have him for the final push towards the playoffs. Jennings performed well in his first game back from injury and PD expects him to improve upon that performance come Sunday. Time for some nasty tonnage RB style.

Week 11 Press Release

Perpetual Dynasty VS La Flama Blanca

Date: November 16, 2014
Time: 1:00PM
Place: PD Field House

Starting Lineup:
QB: Aaron Rodgers
WR: Calvin Johnson
WR: Jordy Nelson
RB: Marshawn Lynch
RB: Shane Vereen
TE: Jimmy Graham
FLEX: Rashad Jennings
K: Adam Vinatieri
DEF: Seattle

PD had been waiting for week 10 for quite some time, and last week did not disappoint. PD shattered the previous points record with a 236 point performance over Tavon and Only. Just as 196 would have once been remember, so too will 236 go down in the MFFL history books. It is the first time any team has broken 200 in this league and it seems like a number that will last for quite a while. PD will never forget last week. PD's (8-2) record is the best start in his MFFL career. He is currently averaging 145 points per game. While the season has been memorable to date, this week promises to be memorable as well. It is perhaps the greatest on paper match-up the league as ever seen. La Flama is a dominant team. PD hopes to sweep Flama after he beat him earlier this season. Unfortunately for PD Dez Bryant is on bye and in a game as close as this that will really sting. It is hard to predict what will happen to a team after a 236 point week, but PD remains confident. This game cold determine playoff seeding and the results may reveal a division winner. PD is out to show once again that the East Division goes through him. PD will try to unleash the NASTY for a 6th straight game on Sunday. Taking the nasty out of dynasty is something PD enjoys doing.

Player Profile: Jordy Nelson
Jordy has been one of the best WRs all season. He has yet to make the player profile for a number of reasons but this week PD will depend on him. Dez Bryant is out and PD needs Jordy to supplement some of that production. Rodgers to Jordy has been a deadly connection all year. Rodgers is 3rd in QB fantasy points, yet he is 20th in pass attempts. That is called efficiency. A home match-up VS the Eagles should allow Jordy to continue to be nasty.

Week 10 Press release

Perpetual Dynasty VS Tavon and Only

Date: November 9, 2014
Time: 1:00PM
Place: PD Field House

Starting lineup:
QB: Aaron Roders
WR: Calvin Johnson
WR: Jordy Nelson
RB: Marshawn Lynch
RB: Ronnie Hillman
TE: Jimmy Graham
FLEX: Dez Bryant
K: Dan Bailey
DEF: Seattle

Week 10 at last. PD has been waiting for this week ever since he traded for Calvin Johnson many weeks ago. It is the first time Megatron, in all likelihood, will hit the field for PD. This will allow PD to witness his optimal lineup for the first time this season. The anticipation for week 10 has overshadowed PD's fourth straight win last week against the Morgans. PD put up 191 points. It is the second time PD has scored over 190 this season. PD has developed his lineup throughout the season just like in years past, but the difference this season may be his RB depth. PD has historically scrapped for quality RB play but he now has flexibility at the position with guys like Lynch, Hillman, Jennings, Forsett, and Vereen. The other RB added this week was none other than Adrian Peterson. PD will await a league decision on the matter, but if AD is able to suit up for PD this season, it would be a monumental influx of talent the likes of which few managers have ever seen. The fact that PD remained unbeaten while Players like Megatron and Rashad Jennings were on the mend is a minor miracle. PD will take what has been presented to him, by some good fortune, and run with it. The time is now to show the league what PD can do. PD's (7-2) start is the best start in his MFFL career, a stat that seems to be overshadowed by other story lines in the league. PD plays Tavon this week. He hopes to unleash the NASTY from the word dynasty for a 5th straight time.

Player Profile: Calvin Jonson
Megatron, Megatron, Megatron. PD has been yearning to do the Megatron dance ever since he acquired Calvin earlier this year. The Lions were smart about the injury and allowed Calvin to get fully healthy. PD will immediately insert Calvin into his top WR slot based on the simple fact that it is Calvin Johnson. Calvin was a dependable contributor to the nasty quota last season and PD hopes to pick up where they left off. Time for Megatron to dance his way to a nasty performance.

Week 9 Press Release

Perpetual Dynasty VS The Advantageous Morgans

Date: November 2, 2014
Time: 1:00PM
Place: Funny Bone Stadium

Starting Lineup:
QB: Ben Roethlisberger
WR: Dez Bryant
WR: DeSean Jackson
RB: Marshawn Lynch
RB: Ronnie Hillman
TE: Jimmy Graham
FLEX: Shane Vereen
K: Dan Bailey
DEF: Seattle

PD obtained a 3rd consecutive win in week 8. They now face a hot Advantageous Morgans squad. PD continues to reshape his roster every week. This week it was especially important considering Rodgers, Johnson, and Nelson are all on bye. The week PD has been waiting for is next Sunday, when his team will get close to full strength. Who knows what to expect this week with the caliber of players PD has on bye, but the moves they have made have allowed them to make this match-up more competitive than it looked, when the odds came out on Tuesday. Look for PD to rely on his RBs this week in a very close match-up. He does not know what to expect from many of the players in his lineup this week. The word NASTY falls within Dynasty, PD will try to bring it out. NASTY.

Player Profile: Shane Vereen
A true wild card headlines PD's player profile. If PD can get solid production out of Vereen it would do wonders in helping towards a victory. In a shootout against the Broncos, PD expects Vereen to catch a lot of passes, in an effort to neutralize the league's best pass rush showcasing Von Miller and DeMarcus Ware.

Week 8 Press Release

Perpetual Dynasty VS Tavon and Only

Date: October 26, 2014
Time: 1:00PM
Place: TO Stadium

Starting Lineup:
QB: Aaron rodgers
WR: Dez Bryant
WR: Jordy Nelson
RB: Brandon Oliver
RB: Ronnie Hillman
TE: Jimmy Graham
FLEX: Jerick McKinnon
K: Dan Bailey
DEF: Seattle

PD got a 2nd consecutive win last week. His team only scored 105 but that was including (-2) from Seattle and Graham. His team continues to perform well but they are nowhere near their full potential. Week 10. This week PD takes on a wounded Tavon team. A loss here would shock the fantasy universe. PD has entered his divisional schedule and it is time to shape the face of this season. He made another trade this week acquiring some high upside players in hopes to help his team get stronger for the long haul. If all goes well his starting lineup would feature: Rodgers, Johnson, Bryant, Ball, Jennings, Nelson, Graham, Bailey, and Seattle. It is time to stop projecting and start living. Week 10. PD will of course try to bring out the NASTY from dynasty on Sunday. PD likes to be so NASTY.

Player Profile: Jerick McKinnon
Jerick McKinnon has been itching to get into PD's starting lineup ever since he was picked up off of free agency. Jerick has been steadily improving all year and after last week's 100 yard performance against a stout Buffalo team on the road, PD feels it is time to see what McKinnon can do in his starting lineup. The last time PD profiled a Minnesota RB they scored over 30 points. Jerick will look to spill NASTY on the field against Tampa.

Week 7 Press Release

Perpetual Dynasty VS ItErtzWhenIPee

Date: October 19, 2014
Time: 1:00PM
Place: PD Field House

Starting Lineup:
QB: Aaron Rodgers
WR: Jordy Nelson
WR: Dez Bryant
RB: Branden Oliver
RB: Joique Bell
TE: Larry Donnell
FLEX: James Jones
K: Dan Bailey
DEF: Seattle

PD got back to their winning ways in week 6. They took down El Pollo Loco 152-150. It was a rivalry slugfest. PD moves into week 7 (4-2). He faces off against Ertz. PD is anxiously awaiting the returns of Calvin Johnson, Jimmy Graham, and Montee Ball. His team will more than likely not be at full strength until week 10 at the earliest, but he is still in position to obtain victories. The game last week was incredibly draining. PD hopes his players have enough left in the tank for this week. The NASTY was on full display in week 6, as always PD will try to bring the NASTY out of dynasty in week 7. This is typically the point in the season when PD puts his foot on the gas. He hopes this season is no different, even with all of his injury problems.

Player Profile: Dez Bryant
Dez has gotten off to the best start in his career. The fact is Dez typically starts performing better in the second half of the season. With injuries to the Dallas O-line and Demarco Murray's health continuing to be a polarizing topic, PD feels Dez has the potential to explode in the 2nd half of the season. PD is looking for this week to be the start of such a streak. #ThrowUpTheX

Week 6 Press Release

Perpetual Dynasty VS El Pollo Loco

Date: October 12, 2014
Time: 1:00PM
Place: PD Field House

Starting Lineup:
QB: Aaron Rodgers
WR: Jordy Nelson
WR: Dez Bryant
RB: Joique Bell
RB: Branden Oliver
TE: Jared Cook
FLEX: Pierre Garcon
K: Dan Bailey
DEF: Seattle

Megatron, Megatron, Megatron. PD will try to win in week 6 after a poor week 5. He made more trades in preparation for Loco. PD welcomes Megatron, Ball, and Garcon to his team. His contract extension with Calvin Johnson is something PD never thought would be possible. He cannot wait until Megatron gets healthy, when he can do the Megatron dance for a 2nd straight season. PD's every week lineup is now Rodgers, Johnson, Bryant, Nelson, Ball, Graham, Seattle. Even though some players have not performed to their high standards so far this season, PD expects them to have a strong 2nd half, and he hopes his team is as feared on the field as much as they are on paper. The NASTY quota was empty last week. PD will go back to his roots and try to bring the NASTY out of dynasty. PD has nothing but respect for Loco.

Player Profile: Last week's player profile got hurt. This week PD looks to an un-drafted rookie for more production. Branden Oliver has a plus match-up against the Oakland Raiders. Oliver will most likely get the lions share of carries and catches as the lead back for the chargers. He looks very nasty on the field. He can bring the nasty for PD in week 6.

Week 5 Press Release

Perpetual Dynasty VS The Reckoning Rises

Date: October 5, 2014
Time: 1:00PM
Place: 12th Man Junction

Starting Lineup:
QB: Aaron Rodgers
WR: Dez Bryant
WR: Jordy Nelson
RB: Reggie Bush
RB: Bishop Sankey
TE: Jimmy Graham
FLEX: A.J. Green
K: Dan Bailey
DEF: Seattle

What a week it was. 196. It is a score few could imagine. PD set the single game record in highlight reel fashion. His 196 to 129 victory over La Flama was one of the biggest wins in franchise history. PD now holds the top overall spot in the league heading into week 5. This week brings another high caliber match-up. The Reckoning face PD after 3 straight victories. Year after year this is the best match-up all season. PD's acquisition of Jimmy Graham just sent shock waves around the entire league. His week to week starting lineup now features Aaron Rodgers, Dez Bryant, Jordy Nelson, A.J. green, Jimmy Graham, and Seattle. It is a lineup full of DyNASTY players. Jimmy Graham may be the player with the most NASTY in the league. Even against the manager with the 2nd best career winning percentage, PD will try to unloaded his delivery of NASTY yet again.

Player Profile:
Last week's player profile of Matt Asiata paid huge dividends as Matt put up 33 points. This week's profile is none other than Jimmy Graham. How can it be anyone else. PD welcomes Graham to his lineup with open arms and Jimmy is excited to play for a team with such high program tradition. Jimmy will be expected to fill the NASTY quota in his first week on the job. PD hopes Graham is up to the challenge.

Week 4 Press Release

Perpetual Dynasty VS La Flama Blanca

Date: September 28, 2014
Time: 1:00PM
Place: Busch Field

Starting Lineup:
QB: Aaron Rodgers
WR: Dez Bryant
WR: Jordy Nelson
RB: Eddie Lacy
RB: Matt Asiata
TE: Martellus Bennett
FLEX: Keenan Allen
K: Dan Bailey
DEF: Pittsburgh

PD looks to get back to his winning ways after a loss in week 3. He will be attempting to do so against the team with the best record in the league, La Flama Blanca. Undoubtedly the best match-up of the week, PD faces a stiff test. Fortunately for PD, Flama is without some key contributors this week due to bye weeks. PD will be without the services of A.J. Green and Seattle Defense. He welcomes Martellus Bennett into the lineup after trading for him last week. Every player on the squad needs to perform better after the the disappointment that was last week. Looking to bring out the NASTY will be the San Diego Chargers Defense. Playing against a depleted Jacksonville team could help them fill the NASTY quota. Keenan Allen has a chance to prove his worth in the flex with A.J. Green on bye. If Allen can start to perform better PD's WR core cold be that much scarier.

Player Profile: Matt Asiata
Mr. undervalued will take the field for PD for a 2nd time this season. Asiata's first start ended with him acquiring 18 points, a fantastic point total. PD just simply does not understand the negativity surrounding this player. He is a RB in a lead role, without much pressure from a backup RB, on a team trying to run the ball, which also throws to the RB out of the back field. A match-up against the underwhelming Falcon defense should help Asiata be one of PD's top performers.

Week 3 Press Release

Perpetual Dynasty VS The Real McCoy

Date: September 21, 2014
Time: 1:00PM
Place: Jerry World

Starting Lineup:
QB: Aaron Rodgers
WR: Dez Bryant
WR: A.J. Green
RB: Eddie Lacy
RB: Joique Bell
TE: Dennis Pitta
FLEX: Jordy Nelson
K: Dan Bailey
DEF: Seattle

PD brought out the NASTY for the second consecutive week en route to a victory over Whitner Wonderland. It was a tough fought game, with PD coming out on top because of two under performers from week 1, Rodgers and Bryant. This is perhaps his best start to a season in 10 years and he hopes to continue this pace against a worthy opponent. The Real McCoy are destined to perform better after a poor week 2. PD welcomes Jordy Nelson and Eddie Lacy into his starting lineup after two blockbuster trades. PD gave up a lot, but his starting WR core now features perhaps three number 1 WR's. This is a turning point game. The first two weeks are over and teams can now begin to be criticized and defined. PD will look towards his WR's to unleash the NASTY for a 3rd consecutive week.

Player Profile: Eddie Lacy
Lacy has his 3rd difficult match-up in as many weeks. While this may not be the game in which Lacy final performs up to his caliber, PD is still counting on him to show signs of life. Lacy is now two weeks removed from a concussion, and PD expects him to perform well even against a stout front 7. Lacy is a guy who exudes NASTY. He should be a match made in heaven on PD's roster.

Week 2 Press Release

Perpetual Dynasty VS Whitner Wonderland

Date: September 14, 2014
Time: 1:00PM
Place: PD Field House

Starting Lineup:
QB: Aaron Rodgers
WR: Dez Bryant
WR: A.J. Green
RB: Rashad Jennings
RB: Joique Bell
TE: Julius Thomas
FLEX: T.Y. Hilton
K: Dan Bailey
DEF: Seattle

An early divisional victory has PD atop the East Division. While the final stat line may seem pretty, 133-110, PD only managed to have 4 players meet or surpass their point projections. He was carried by Julius Thomas, A.J. Green, and Rashad Jennings who scored a combined 82 points. Reaching 133 is an impressive feat considering A-a-ron Rodgers and Dez Bryant only combined for 17. His sights are now set on the West division leader, Whitner Wonderland. W&W scored the most points in week 1 (148). It was a statement directed at the West division managers. PD hopes to catch Witner on a down week after such a great performance. Rashad Jennings and Joique Bell are playing tough defenses, but PD feels better production out of his stars in week 2 could balance the overall point potential. PD will once again look to lay down the NASTY out of Perpetual Dynasty in week 2.

Player Profile: Seattle
PD paid a big price to acquire Seattle from the Reckoning Rises franchise. After Seattle’s week 1 performance every manager around the league now knows why. They dominated one of the best offenses in the league from start to finish. PD does not expect this type of performance each week, especially when Seattle is on the road, but Seattle is simply one of the best defenses of this era, and they will help PD with his NASTY quota all season.

Week 1 Press Release

Perpetual Dynasty VS ShowMeYourTDs

Date: September 7, 2014
Time: 1:00PM
Place: PD Field House

Starting Lineup:
QB: Aaron Rodgers
WR: Dez Bryant
WR: A.J. Green
RB: Joique Bell
RB: Rashad Jennings
TE: Julius Thomas
FLEX: Michael Crabtree
K: Dan Bailey
DEF: Seattle

The 2014 MFFL Season is mere hours away and PD is ready to roll. PD welcomes ShowMeYourTDs into PD Field House for what is being called the match-up of the week. This match-up's anticipation jumped through the roof when TDs acquired Drew Brees in preparation for the East Division clash. It was a power move. PD has never lost to TDs but the closest they ever came to defeat was in 2012 when PD won the match-up because of the Fail Mary final play between the Packers and the Seahawks. TDs has never forgotten, and now, on the precipice of the season, TDs gets a chance to turn the tide as the Packers head back to Seattle for Week 1. PD hopes his star WR core can help him against two running backs like Adrian Peterson and Andre Ellington. Aaron Rodgers has a tough match-up on the road against PD's defense but he hopes both Rodgers and Seattle can be productive in the same game. As always, PD will try to bring out The NASTY from Perpetual Dynasty. Who better to do that than Seattle defense.

Player Profile: Aaron Rodgers
Last season in the opener against ShowMeYourTDs Peyton Manning put on a show. He was PD's player profile that week as he wanted their star quarterback to set the tone for the season. The season could not have gotten off to a better percussion. Now it is Rodgers turn. 2014 starting circumstances are mirrored and PD hopes for similar results.

2 Weeks Left...

As the MFFL Draft inches closer and closer, many questions remain unanswered with regards to Perpetual Dynasty's Draft Strategy. Unquestionably the holder of 2013's best draft, featuring Peyton Manning, Calvin Johnson, Brandon Marshall, Rob Gronkowski, Shane Vereen, Michael Floyd, Emmanuel Sanders, and Joique Bell, PD has perhaps set the bar too high, even for their lofty standards. Replicating last season's draft success is simply improbable.

Many managers around the league seem to have adopted draft tendencies characterized by PD because of last season's success. Managers also expect PD to implement a similar strategy on August 24th, 2014. PD warns those select few to not expect such mirroring. PD's success was based upon the value obtained in the 3rd and 5th rounds, Peyton Manning and Rob Gronkowski. No logical argument can be made to suggest such value will fall for a 2nd year in a row. PD will not let last season dictate what he does going forward.

The only thing predictable about PD is his unpredictability. While his draft's recently have been more systematically nature, as compared to the flashyness of other teams, PD feels this season could feature new strategies which make other managers go, "ah". What does this veteran manager have up his sleeve? Can an old dog learn new tricks? August 24, 2014 reveals the answers.

Perpetual Dynasty: Man, Myth, Legend

With calendars across the fantasy universe turning to June, PD embarks on his 12th fantasy football season. The past twelve years have featured the construction of a fantasy football resume few could imagine. PD's humble beginnings in the FFFL portrayed a brash rookie, smitten with early success, that would morph into a prestigious veteran. PD's fantasy football nature was once an unspeakable dream, you could only whisper it, anything more than a whisper and it would vanish. PD's history became legend, his legend became myth, and for 9 years his fantasy football happenings began to spread. Rumor grew of a shadow in the East, whispers of a nameless fear, and the manager of power perceived his time had now come. He abandoned the FFFL, and assumed a position of absolute responsibility as Commissioner of The Miller Fantasy Football League. Mangers across the globe could now witness first hand the gravity of PD's fantasy football enterprises.

PD was engulfed in expectation and liability; governing the most prestigious fantasy football league of all time, while maintaining the high bar of success he had achieved as a manager. While other managers would have crumbled under the weight of such standards, PD excelled. Dominant regular seasons led to consecutive #1 seeds entering the playoffs. Consecutive first round defeats awaited him. While building his resume in the FFFL PD never questioned the need for luck when striving for championships. His teams in the MFFL have operated above a level of luck. Simply put, PD did not need luck. As has been stated many times before, once the playoffs start records get thrown out the door, regular season success is meaningless. Year after year teams squeak into the playoffs and later find themselves holding the championship trophy. All of PD's success has not been enough, and it will never be enough. He will need luck in order to take home the crown. PD now speaks to the rest of the MFFL:

Do not misconstrue what has happened these first two years. Any failure obtained has only enhanced my myth. I achieved levels of success others could only dream of, and I did it without an important variable in the championship formula, luck. Once this variable enters the equation, my legend will be unquestioned. The time will come when I hold the trophy. Any visions of the contrary are foolish. Truly enjoy the time left you have to condemn me for my lack of a championship, it won't last much longer.
