Week 4 Press Release

Perpetual Dynasty VS Weeden and Weep

Date: September 29, 2013
Time: 1:00PM
Place: Tissue Coliseum

Starting Lineup:
QB: Peyton Manning
WR: Calvin Johnson
WR: Demaryius Thomas
RB: Trent Richardson
RB: Danny Woodhead
TE: Rob Gronkowski
FLEX: Reggie Wayne
K: Sebastian Janikowski
DEF: New Orleans

PD got back to his winning ways with a victory over Tavon. His team has completely changed after a cluster of trades. He is hoping team unity can build throughout the week as he is starting 5 players who have not previously been in his starting lineup. Weeden is coming off of a big win over McCoy, but few believe that trend can continue. If PD wins he will be (3-1). That would be his best start to a season in quite some time.

This week's player profile is Reggie Wayne. PD traded Julian Edelman for Wayne earlier this week. Reggie and PD have had their differences in the past but PD believes it is because he asked to much of Wayne in prev
ious seasons. PD hopes Wayne will flourish in the flex, while WR starters Calvin Johnson and Demaryius Thomas take the pressure off of him.

Week 3 Press Release

Perpetual Dynasty VS Tavon and Only
Date: September 22, 2013
Time: 1:00PM
Place: TO Stadium

Starting Lineup:
QB Peyton Manning
WR: Calvin Johnson

WR: Demaryius Thomas
RB: Trent Richardson
RB: Joique Bell
TE: Coby Fleener
FLEX: Julian Edelman
K: Steven Hauschka
DEF: Houston

PD looks to rebound after a disappointing loss in week 2. He faces an undefeated team in week 3, Tavon and Only. This is the first of two match-ups between these teams. Tavon is feeling extremely confident after a great start to his season. PD is still not at full strength. Gronk is probably out one more week and newly acquired Trent Richardson will try to adjust to a new team after only 4 days. This match-up looks to be razor close. PD hopes to turn Tavon's confidence into despair.

This week's player profile goes to Joique Bell. He has played extremely well in the first 2 weeks and he now hopes to have an expanded offensive role with Reggie Bush ailing. He will have to be the centerpiece of PD's RBs this week.

Week 2 Press Release

Perpetual Dynasty VS The Real McCoy
Date: September 15, 2013
Time: 1:00PM
Place: PD Field House

Starting Lineup:
QB: Peyton Manning
WR: Calvin Johnson
WR: Brandon Marshall
RB: Maurice Jones-Drew
RB: DeAngelo Williams
TE: Dallas Clark
FLEX: Julian Edelman
K: David Akers
DEF: Dallas Cowboys

PD started the season off well with a victory over TDs. He now turns his focus to The Real McCoy; the team responsible for knocking him out of the playoffs a season ago. The stakes are high (Match-up Build-up analyzes further). PD had 135 points in week 1, which would be great every week, but if you look deeper its clear PD has much to work on. His RB's were a disaster in week 1. Look for wholesale changes if they perform poorly this week. PD is anxiously waiting for the return of Rob Gronkowski, but perhaps this is the last week until Gronk officially wears the PD colors. Should be a great match-up across the board. Calvin Johnson needs to perform better if PD has any chance of winning consistently this season.

Julian Edelman is this week's player profile. Last week Peyton Manning scored 54 points on Thursday night for PD. Edelman plays on Thursday this week and PD is expecting a solid performance. It would go a long way towards winning this match-up if Edelman can hang with Ridley.

Week 1 Press Release

Perpetual Dynasty VS ShowMeYourTDs
Date: September 8, 2013
Time: 1:00PM
Place: PD Field House

Starting Lineup:
QB: Peyton Manning
WR: Calvin Johnson
WR: Brandon Marshall
RB: Maurice Jones-Drew
RB: Lamar Miller
TE: Zach Sudfeld
FLEX: Shane Vereen
K: David Akers
DEF: Arizona

The 2013 MFFL season has finally arrived. The anticipation surrounding the new league year is palpable. PD opens the season against a familiar foe. These two teams met in the playoffs last season, as well as twice in the regular season. PD dominated TDs en route to three victories. So much has changed since last season, but PD will try to pick up where he left off from last season, with a win against TDs. TDs has the oldest team in the league. Only time will tell if age brings experience or decay for TDs franchise. PD is loaded with star potential: Manning, Megatron, Marshall, Jones-Drew, and Gronk. While he won't be at his full potential come week 1, he still has players chomping at the bit to prove they belong on a team with such strong tradition. Lamar Miller, Shane Vereen, and Montee Ball are battling for the number two RB slot. Week 1 is their first chance for them to showcase their skills. Michael Floyd is a player who might crack the starting lineup come week 1, if he has a good week of practice. A victory is a nice way to start the season for a team that typically loses in week 1. A loss is another statistic to add to the trend of PD starting slow.

Player Profile: This week we are profiling Peyton Manning. He is the unquestioned leader of this team. PD is excited to see his Leader start the season on Thursday night. A leader's job is to instill confidence and strength in others; Peyton could accomplish that with a strong week 1 performance.
