Place: Gotham City Field

Starting Lineup:
QB: Matthew Stafford
WR: Brandon Marshall

DEF: Chicago

PD is now 10-3. He has had a fantastic season. He is 1 win away from reaching his 11th regular season win. Standing in his way is Gothams Reckoning. These two teams have been the best teams all year. It is a mega matchup. Whoever wins clinches the top overall seed and $20. What more needs to be said.

Chicago D needs to have a bounce back game if PD wants to win this week.

Week 12 Press Release

Perpetual Dynasty VS Beaus N Hoes

Date: November 25, 2012
Time: 1:00PM
Place: Hoes Brothel

Starting Lineup
QB: Matthew Stafford
WR: Brandon Marshall
WR: Larry Fitzgerald
RB: Arian Foster
RB: Jamaal Charles
TE: Jason Witten
FLEX: Marcel Reece
K: Matt Bryant
DEF: Chicago

PD lost last week for the first time since week 2. He hopes to get a big rebound win this week. It will be a tough task against a hot Beaus N Hoes team. He really hopes to get star like production out of his star players. They failed to do so last week. This is a big game for PD, as a win will make his big matchup with TDs next week less meaningful.

Arian Foster has to bounce back after a bad week. PD is hoping he can get a big game form him on Thanksgiving.

Week 11 Press Release

Perpetual Dynasty VS Weeden and Weep

Date: Sunday November 18, 2012
When: 1:00PM
Where: Weep River Barracks

Starting Lineup:
QB: Matthew Stafford
WR: Brandon Marshall
WR: Larry Fitzgerald
RB: Arian Foster
RB: Jamaal Charles
TE: Jason Witten
FLEX: Marcel Reece
K: Matt Bryant
DEF: Chicago

Pd has won 8 straight games. He is trying to stay a head of the pack in the 2006 Buckeyes Division. Weeden will present some challenges for PD. He is a team poised to strike at any moment, but for whatever reason they just haven't put it together this year. A win for PD keeps him ahead of the pack, while a loss would just be a disappointing, all be it not very concerning, way to end the weekend.

Pd is hoping Brandon Marshall can still be effective without Jay Cutler. It is a tough matchup for him against San Fran.

Week 10 Press Release

Perpetual Dynasty VS La Flama Blanca

Date: November 11, 2012
Time: 1:00PM
Where: Flama Hell Fire Circus

Starting Lineup:
QB: Matthew Stafford
WR: Brandon Marshall
WR: Titus Young Sr.
RB: Arian Foster
RB: Jamaal Charles
TE: Jason Wtten
FLEX: Jonathon Stewart
K: Matt Bryant
DEF: Chicago

7 straight for PD. That streak could end this week. Tough matchups make for a closer game than once predicted. He hopes for a down week from his opponent this week. Only 2 opponents have scored under 115 against him all year, and only one opponent has been under 100 points. It should be a close battle. If PD can keep it close for the 1:00PM games he should be ok with most of his players playing after 1:00PM.

PD really needs a big game form Titus Young this week, with Fitz on bye.

Week 9 Press Release

Perpetual Dynasty VS The Real McCoy

Date: Sunday November 4th, 2012
Time: 1:00PM
Where: PD Field House

Starting Lineup:
QB: Matthew Stafford
WR: Brandon Marshall
WR: Larry Fitzgerald
RB: Arian Foster
RB: Jamaal Charles
TE: Jason Witten
FLEX: Darren McFadden
K: Matt Bryant
DEF: Chicago

Six straight wins for PD. His team is on a roll. He faces McCoy this week for the only time this season. It should be a high scoring affair. This is the first time we may see PD's lineup at its full potential, but PD is still contemplating how he wants his lineup to look for this week. Some things are certain, PD has a 2 game lead in his division and he looks like a real playoff contender. A win this week will further help his chances, while a loss will hopefully only act as a speed bump.

last week Matthew Stafford was a player PD wanted and expected a big game from. It came true. This week he highlights Larry Fitzgerald as a player he continues to have faith in, just as he did with Matthew Stafford.

Week 8 Press Release

Perpetual Dynasty VS. Brax To Da Max

Date: Sunday October 28th, 2012
When: 1:00PM
Where: PD Field House

Starting Lineup:
QB: Matthew Stafford
WR: Brandon Marshall
WR: Larry Fitzgerald
RB: Jamaal Charles
RB: Darren Mcfadden
TE: Jason Witten
FLEX: Felix Jones
K: Matt Bryant
DEF: Chicago

PD has won 5 straight games. He now faces a team with only 1 victory on the season. He hopes to not slip up against an opponent that is struggling. PD is fighting to keep the top spot in the 2006 Buckeyes division., with Tesus and TDs nipping at his heels. His flex position is still in flux for this week and he hopes his team will come to play without foster in his lineup. PD is unbeaten at home this year, and he wants to keep that trend moving forward. PD Field House is proving to be one of the hardest places to play.

PD is hoping for a good game out of Stafford this week. Stafford has been consistent and playing well enough, but he has yet to score over 20 points in one game.

Week 7 Press Release

Perpetual Dynasty VS. La Flama Blanca

Date: October 21, 2012
When: 1:00PM
Where: PD Field House

Starting Lineup:
QB: Matthew Stafford
WR: Brandon Marshall
WR: Larry Fitzgerald
RB: Arian Foster
RB: Darren Mcfadden
TE: Jason Witten
FLEX: Felix Jones
K: Sebastian Janikowski
DEF: Chicago

PD has won 4 straight. He is hot and looks to remain hot against a team he feels is ready to make a move. Flama is getting healthy and is looking to jump back into the playoff picture. PD hopes Flama's run comes a week later. PD wants to take advantage of Flama missing his best player, Peyton Manning, due to a bye. A win for PD makes 5 straight and more importantly keeps him ahead in the division. If Flama wins he will look to get on a roll towards the playoffs.

(Picture above is Jamaal Charles, PD just acquired him via trade. He is on a bye this week. The last time Commish had Charles, Charles was his best player, but Commish had his second worst season in fantasy football. Charles is happy to be surrounded by a better cast of players the second go around.)

Week 6 Press Release

Perpetual Dynasty VS. El Pollo Loco (RIVALRY)
Date: October 14, 2012
When: 1:00PM
Where: PD Field House

Starting Lineup
QB: Matthew Stafford
WR: Larry Fitzgerald
WR: Jeremy Maclin
RB: Arian Foster
RB: Darren Mcfadden
TE: Jason Witten
FLEX: Reggie Bush
K: Matt Bryant
DEF: Falcons

PD comes into this matchup off of three straight victories. His team has finally started to put it together after an early season slump. This week he is without Brandon Marshall, but he is hopping new faces in his starting lineup can help make up for the loss. Darren Mcfadden, Jason Witten, and Falcons Def, all make their first starts for PD. Loco is without Cam Newton, his x factor, so PD will try to take advantage. A win this week will make four in a row, but more importantly, its a win over a hated rival. Time to throw down.

(Pictured above is PD Field House, opponents beware!!!)

Week 5 Press Release

Perpetual Dynasty VS. Tesus Crusades
Date: October 7, 2012
When: 1:00PM
Where: PD Field House

Starting Lineup:
QB: Jay Cutler
WR: Brandon Marshall
WR: Larry Fitzgerald
RB: Arian Foster
RB: Reggie Bush
TE: Jermichael Finley
FLEX: Jeremy Maclin
K: Matt Bryant
DEF: Chicago

After two wins in a row, PD looks to keep it rolling against Tesus. It will be an extremely tough matchup for PD who is without Mcfadden, Stafford, and Witten, due to bye's. Tesus will be fielding nearly all of his starting lineup, which could spell trouble for PD. Fortunately for PD, he seems to be coming into his own, with players beginning to respond after poor starts. While the team he puts out on the field for this matchup won't be his finished product, it is still a team that can win, and win big. The biggest concern for PD is the play of Cutler, Finley, and Maclin. He needs them to be consistent in order to snatch a victory this week.

Week 2 Press Release

Perpetual Dynasty VS. El Pollo Loco
When: Sunday September 16, 2012
Time: 1:00PM
Where: Loco Coliseum

Starting Lineup:
QB: Matthew Stafford
WR: Brandon Marshall
WR: Hakeem Nicks
RB: Arian Foster
RB: C.J. Spiller
TE: Fred Davis
FLEX: Brandon Lloyd
K: Nate Kaeding
DEF: Patriots

PD is trying to bounce back after a disappointing week 1 performance. He hopes newly acquired players, like Spiller and Kaeding, can help him in week 2. He faces a man who lost in heart breaking fashion last week, meaning Loco will be out for blood. Both teams will be making history, as this is the first time rivals will compete in the inaugural Miller League season. Even though it is earlier in the season, this game has a lot riding on it. Neither teams wants to start (0-2), especially at the hands of their rival.

Week 1 Press Release

Perpetual Dynasty VS. Tesus Crusades
Date: September 9, 2012
Time: 1:00PM
Where: Tesus Stadium

Starting Lineup
QB: Matthew Stafford
WR: Brandon Marshall
WR: Hakeem Nicks
RB: Arian Foster
RB: Unknown
TE: Unknown
FLEX: Brandon Lloyd
K: Matt Prater
DEF: Patriots

The start of the season is finally here. PD has been waiting for this day to arrive for quite some time, but his preparation is still not complete. Questions about his number 2 RB and starting TE still linger. PD is confident that whoever starts for him should contribute well, but the decisions have yet to be made. PD is hoping his top 4 picks, in this years draft, can come out strong to open the year. TC has some strong players of his own and the match up will most certainly come down to the wire. It is tough to dig deep into the match up considering it is only week 1, and its anyone guess what is about to happen. But, PD is hoping for more clarity heading into week 2, and he hopes the diffusing fog reveals a week 1 victory.

36 Days until the Draft

The Dark Knight Rises is over, (3.5 out of 4), and now my attention focuses purely on fantasy preparations. I am selecting from the number 1 overall spot for the first time since 2004! Obviously things have changed in the world of fantasy since that time, and I face the challenge of having to prepare for a spot that is unknown to me; so why did I trade for the first draft slot?
The opportunity for me to get out of the 6th pick was a huge contributing factor. I did not like my opportunities there.
Secondly, as the commissioner of this new league I felt like drafting number 1 overall would be a great way to start the draft process as well as the season as a whole.
Finally, I like changing things up.
The challenge is omnipresent, but I welcome it. This is the time of year when I prove why I am one of the best owners/managers/coach in fantasy.
