Through it all, TPD fights. His fight was displayed a week ago, when against all odds, he smashed his way into the final four. The team had bad match-ups everywhere, and TPD threw down 170 points. This, when his QB accounted for a single point. All the positioning, the waiting, and game day managing, led to that moment. TPD put the entire league on notice. And now, the match-ups are clearer. TPD has multiple options at his disposal. Get your popcorn ready. 

The lineup for this week could look completely different than a week ago. QB, WR, Flex, and Def could all have different players. Joe Burrow will almost certainly hit the bench, after such a disinterested and pathetic performance in the quarterfinal. TPD has a decision to make between Brissett and Purdy, both of whom are in smash spots. London could return to the lineup this week. TPD will have to weigh whether or not to start him in his first game back from injury. If MHJ returns for the Cardinals, Wilson will almost certainly be put on TPD's bench. Nico is ready to roll, while Evans could be a true game changer in TPD's flex. McBride is out for history, after cooking the best defense in the league a week ago. TPD hopes Taylor will finally have a smash game, after so many average performances down the stretch. Cook carried TPD a week ago. He's been unleashed since hitting TPD's roster. Ballers from last week, Kittle, Henderson, and Thomas, could all be on the bench this week. It is an insane amount of depth, considering how late in the year it is. The one question is going to be, will TPD make the right lineup decisions.

The NASTY is always making the right decisions, and making quick disposals his it's opponents. What a glorious afternoon it was a week ago. TPD will now have to travel on the road for another feast. Everything has been building for this moment. TPD is peaking at the perfect moment. You know what they awoke in the darkness...shadow and flame.

Player Profile: Mike Evans

Evans could not have played better in a game returning from injury. He played so well, it will be tough to keep him out of TPD's lineup. He is a winner. He has won championships for TPD in the past, and defeated him in the ship a year ago. The future Hall of Famer is the keystone. He unlocks the potential of TPD's roster. He will be the light when all other's go out. It is time. NASTY. 

Week 15 Press Release (Quarterfinal Edition)

The playoffs have arrived. This is what we have all been waiting for. There is no better time of year. TPD is always grateful to playing meaningful football this late in the season. The top overall point scorer by a mile, TPD unfortunately did not get a 1st rd bye. Due once again to his horrible luck. He lost three straight to end the season, as each of his opponents scored well over 130 ppg. He finished with the 2nd hardest schedule in the league. There is simply no end in sight to this franchise horrible circumstances. Here is a list of TPD's strength of schedule over the last 6 years: 2nd toughest, 5th toughest, 4th toughest, 1st toughest, 1st toughest, 3rd toughest. Words cannot describe how unlucky he is. TPD must put the past behind him. He has been here before, and he has climbed the mountain. For what is dead may never die, but rises harder and stronger. If the rule you followed brought you to this, of what use was the rule?

As if the fantasy gods were laughing at TPD, this week he has multiple brutal match-ups on the schedule. TPD will have to decide between Burrow and Purdy, as Burrow's game will have frigid temperatures. Burrow will likely get the nod, in what is expected to be a shootout against Lamar Jackson. Had TPD started Burrow a week ago, he would have secured a bye. It was a mistake that could have massive consequences. Nico and Wilson will continue to start, due to London's injury. Wilson has a brutal match-up though. Evans could be thrown into the flex, but TPD will likely play it safe and avoid a Thursday player. Taylor lost his QB, and now has a terrifying match-up on the road. Unfortunately for TPD, all his other RBs have terrible matchups too. There is nowhere to turn, and TPD will have to roll with JT in a likely disappointing spot. Cook needs to rebound after a tough game a week ago. TPD may start both his elite TEs, as he looks for an edge. But McBride plays Houston, just like Wilson. After breaking it down, TPD supposes it always had to be this way. Nothing in this league is easy for him. He faces challenges few could even fathom, and he beats them. Time and time again you try to hold him down, but he cannot be restrained. TPD will show no mercy. No matter the odds stacked against him, he will fight to the last. 

The NASTY is with him. The NASTY is eager for a home playoff game. This is what it lives for. You may strike it down. You may rub dirt in its face. But you will not defeat it. It is memory, precious and pure. It shines on. Propelling this embattled dreamer, on a wave of nostalgia and reverence. TPD walked amongst the stars and grasped greatness. He was then etched in stone, and finally cast in golden coronation. TPD once again reaches for heights once known, to grasp glorious achievement. 

Player Profile: George Kittle

Kittle gets the nod this week because the team needs to look to him for guidance. TPD needs to fight all odds like Kittle. He needs to play with joyful youthfulness. He needs to fight for every inch. Kittle is the leader this week, either in the starting lineup or not. We look to him for the way. If you got beef then bring the ruckus, TPD ain't no-one to mess with.
